How Are These Tuition Rates Calculated?
Home tuition rates are quoted by tutors themselves. MindFlex doesn’t set the tuition fees, but provides an accurate gauge on the current prevailing market rate for home tuition services. Each tutor quotes his/her tuition fees based on a variety of factors such as Experience, Qualifications & Opportunity/Travelling Cost
How Do I Pay For Lessons?
MindFlex accepts many convenient modes of payment such as PayNow, Bank Transfer and Cheque. From the 3rd week of lesson onwards, parents may pay the tuition fees directly to the tutor via a mutually agreed payment mode, commonly Cash, PayNow or Bank Transfer.
Are There Agent or Matching Fees?
MindFlex’s matching services are free-of-charge for its clients. Clients are only required to pay for lessons that have been arranged and conducted. The first 2 weeks of lesson fees (or otherwise stated) are usually allocated to MindFlex as the agency’s commission for the arrangements. This amount will be deducted from the tutor’s fees.
As MindFlex is a GST-Registered company, there is a 7% GST imposed only on the agency’s fees. This is a one-off payment and no GST will be required for any future payments to the tutor directly. The details on the amount to pay will be clearly stated in the tuition confirmation note and invoice issued to you upon confirming tuition lessons with MindFlex.
Are There Any Commitments Involved?
There is no commitments involved in engaging a tutor with MindFlex. Clients are free to terminate a tutor anytime if they are not satisfied. They would only have to be pay for the tuition fees involved based on the agreed home tuition rates. Upon confirmation of a lesson, we will provide both clients and tutors certain guidelines with regards to cancellations/postponements to ensure fair practice to both parties.
What If I Would Like To Terminate A Tutor?
In the rare case whereby you are unsatisfied with the tutor provided, all you need to do is inform any of our friendly coordinators and we will terminate the tuition arrangements for you with the tutor. All tuition fees for lessons attended must be paid to our agency and we will distribute the necessary portion to the tutor. You may then choose to request a replacement tutor, or cease tuition arrangements with our agency.
