Finding the right primary English tuition can be trickier than many parents expect. Most families are not just looking for extra worksheets. They are trying to solve real day-to-day struggles, such as weak comprehension, careless grammar mistakes, low confidence in oral, or compositions that never seem to improve despite plenty of effort. In Singapore, primary English tuition centres can differ quite a lot in teaching style, class size, structure and level of support. Some children need close one-to-one guidance, while others respond better in a lively small-group setting. This guide compares 10 well-known options for primary English tuition in Singapore, so you can shortlist an English tuition arrangement that fits your child’s learning pace, school demands and family routine more confidently.
Key Takeaways
The best primary English tuition centre depends on your child’s actual struggle, whether that is comprehension, writing, oral confidence or overall language foundation.
Primary English tuition centres in Singapore differ in class size, lesson style, curriculum focus, location and pricing, so it helps to compare carefully.
Parents should look beyond branding and ask whether the English tuition programme offers clear feedback, practical exam support and a pace their child can realistically keep up with.
MindFlex – Your Best Platform for Primary English Home Tuition
Overview of Business
MindFlex Tuition Agency is a Singapore-based home tuition agency that helps families find suitable private tutors for primary English tuition. Rather than running fixed classroom lessons, MindFlex matches parents with one-to-one English tutors who can teach at home or online, based on the child’s level, learning pace and specific needs. This can be especially helpful when a child needs targeted support for grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, writing or oral communication, instead of a broad group-class programme. MindFlex supports Primary 1 to Primary 6 learners and can match tutors for general English improvement, homework support or PSLE preparation. Because the service is built around personalised tutor matching, parents can request a tutor type that fits both budget and expectations, whether they prefer a part-time tutor, full-time tutor or ex/current MOE teacher for closer, more tailored support.
Why Parents Choose MindFlex?
Parents often turn to MindFlex when they want flexibility and individual attention for primary English tuition. A child who is quiet in class, struggles to organise ideas in writing, or keeps making the same comprehension mistakes may benefit more from one-to-one lessons than from a standard group setting. MindFlex also helps parents save time by shortlisting tutors based on level, schedule, location and budget. Their free matching service lowers the pressure of committing too quickly, and home or online lessons can be easier to sustain for families juggling school, CCA and weekday tiredness.
Excellent customer service from MindFlex Home Tuition Megan. She was very patient, responsive, and took the time to understand my child’s learning needs and goals before recommending a tutor. Megan provided suitable options and helped us find a good English tutor who matched my child’s learning style. The whole process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I appreciate her dedication and prompt follow-up throughout. Highly recommend Megan to parents looking for reliable support in finding the right tutor for their child.
I’m very grateful to MindFlex, especially Alyssa and her team, for their patience and dedication in helping to source a suitable tutor for my son.
This is the 2nd time I look for them to source a tutor. This time round I had more specific requirements, including the tutor’s age group, gender and most importantly, someone who is patient and able to communicate well with students who are weaker in Chinese. Alyssa and the team were understanding, responsive and professional throughout the entire process.
They took the effort to carefully match a tutor who suits my son’s learning needs and personality. I truly appreciate their commitment and excellent service. Highly recommended for parents looking for reliable and attentive tuition support!
I’m very happy with the tutoring service arranged by Alyssa and her team. Both tutors (Xinbo and Ban Cheng) have been great and my child really enjoys the lessons with them. We can already see some improvement, which is very encouraging.
Thank you for being so responsive and helpful throughout the arrangement process. Really appreciate the support and would definitely recommend them to other parents looking for reliable tutors.

Islandwide home tuition is available across Singapore, and online lessons can also be arranged for families who prefer a more flexible setup.

1. MindChamps
Overview of Business
MindChamps is a well-known education brand in Singapore, and its Primary programmes include primary English tuition from Primary 1 to Primary 6, with PSLE support at the upper primary level. For parents comparing English tuition centres, MindChamps stands out for its research-backed approach and strong emphasis on mindset, communication and academic readiness. Their primary English tuition is aligned to the MOE syllabus and aims to build language skills alongside confidence, expression and higher-order thinking. MindChamps also draws from neuroscience, child psychology, theatre and education in shaping its lessons, which gives the English programme a broader developmental angle than drill-based tuition alone.
Why Parents Choose MindChamps?
Many parents choose MindChamps because they want tuition that goes beyond pushing worksheets. Their teacher training is a major draw, with compulsory accreditation and extensive preparation before teaching. For a child who struggles with confidence, oral expression or writing fluency, that matters because teaching delivery often shapes whether the child opens up or withdraws. Parents may also like that MindChamps blends academic structure with a more engaging classroom experience, which can feel more sustainable for children who resist rigid tuition.
Mind Champs Toa Payoh is the best. My kid love the teacher, friends there. Every day she is full of passion to go. The friends there are all well educated and very friendly l.
The MindChamps CNY celebration was so fun and thoughtfully planned! The festive setup was vibrant, and there were plenty of interactive activities for the kids. Big thanks to the teachers for making it such a joyful and memorable experience for the children.
Excellent organisation and games. Enjoyed the thoughts to provide an artwork that my daughter can bring home. The puppet show was great. Overall a fun experience for the family

Zenith Education Studio offers primary English tuition for Primary 4 to Primary 6, alongside Primary Math and Science. Although Zenith is widely known for upper-level academic programmes, their Primary tuition arm is still relevant for parents whose child needs stronger exam structure before upper primary assessments and PSLE. Their English tuition is designed around conceptual understanding, curated notes and structured exam thinking, rather than loose practice alone. For children who can read reasonably well but struggle to turn that into school marks, this style may be useful because English papers in Singapore often reward method, precision and familiarity with question demands. Zenith also places emphasis on a supportive study environment, personalised feedback and capped class sizes.
Why Parents Choose Zenith Education Studio?
Parents may choose Zenith when their child needs stronger structure in upper primary English. Some children are not lacking in effort, they just do not know how to tackle comprehension, organise composition ideas or avoid repeating language mistakes under pressure. Zenith’s appeal lies in its curated materials, focused feedback and clear academic routines. Small, capped classes can also help quieter children ask questions more comfortably than they would in a larger room. Free trial classes are another practical plus for parents who want to gauge whether the teaching style suits their child before committing.
If you asked me what it means to be a bubbly, food loving critic that is competent and skilled in teaching Chemistry, there’s only one name that comes to mind. OSN - Ong Shi Neng ☃️
Since the first lesson he has been relentless in ensuring quality education, good eats and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Chemistry in Zenith for the past 1.5 years have truly been like no other. The teachers are caring and helpful, reassuring us that we are prepared, organising 24 hour zooms the night before, just so we can feel a bit more secure the day before the exam. It is no surprise that he is one of Zenith’s most beloved tutors. #Notfreepromo Join Zenith for the most fun experience. Coming back to edit this review Once i bag that A! 🦦🦦🦦🦦
I attended Chenfang's E-Math classes from Sec 3 to 4 and it really was an amazing experience to be learning with her!
In Sec 4, I jumped from a C6 for Prelims to a B3 for O's, something I thought I wouldn't be able to achieve. Chenfang helped me to understand what my weak points were through weekly assessments and so I improved steadily. Her classes are also really fun since she makes sure that we are not just studying but enjoying the process! The worksheets at Zenith also helped a lot as there were many diverse types of questions that helped with gradual and thorough understanding, with extras for practice at home! The snacks were also a real help for staying focused in class 🙂
I joined Nick's class in sec 3 for physics and he has helped me get good grades for physics throughout my upper sec and eventually get a1 for o levels. Without Nick I do not think I would have achieved such a good score. He is a very good teacher and makes lessons feel fun and explains concepts very well, I have not been lost or confused once in his lessons throughout my two years with him. I look forward to his classes every week and he made me fall in love with physics.😍😍 He also helps me with physics questions outside of lesson time when I whatsapp him especially when I was preparing for my exams.👍👍👍
I attended Nicholas Koh’s classes when I realised I was failing Chemistry and Physics in my Sec 3 WA2s. He helped pull my grades up from an F9 to an A2 for my O Levels! I truly appreciate his help so much. He is understanding, yet he also challenges me and strongly believes in my potential. His lessons are unlike those of other tutors who simply spoon-feed information instead, he makes sure new concepts are thoroughly drilled into your head so you truly understand them. Thank you Nick you genuinely changed my life. You’re the best!
I was a J2 student taking H2 physics under duncan!! Duncan is honestly one of the best physics tutors I’ve ever had. He answers my questions incredibly fast and always makes sure I fully understand the concepts before moving on. You can tell he really puts in the effort. tbh it feels like he works around the clock just to help his students. He’s super helpful, patient, and you can clearly see that he genuinely loves what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve in physics!
Because of laychuns lessons, I feel more confident in econs and I have improved in applying concepts on my own. He is patient, encouraging and genuinely wants his students to do better. Lessons are productive and I always end up learning something useful.
Shi neng has made chem very fun and enjoyable for me, this has made chem seem so much easier in school. He explains concepts very clearly and his lessons are very engaging!
Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who wants to improve and understand the subject better.
Shi Neng chemistry class is so good. Like everyone around me keeps saying chemistry is so hard and honestly I did find Chem hard before joining zenith Chem. However, after I went for June trial for energetics I realised how simple Chem is. Especially he helped me so much in organiche Chem by covering all the foundations and the small tiny details! I rlly recommend this class and I have gotten A /B throughout the time I have been with zenith. It’s also very fun cause he has a sense of humour HAHA !
My time at zenith has been really wonderful and really enjoyable. My chemistry tutor , Shi Neng has been really helpful at helping me understand H2 chemistry and making the journey more fun and bearable. Even with simple and obvious questions , Shi Neng has always been patient and really helpful with explaining chemistry concepts! Even with welfare he has always been very generous and thoughtful. TLDR he is a very thoughtful teacher and I wish I would have joined earlier 😭😭 676767

My English School is a specialist English literacy brand in Singapore, making it one of the more directly relevant options for parents specifically searching for primary English tuition. Established in 2012, they focus on building strong English foundations through structured reading and primary-level English programmes. Their classes span from early literacy up to Primary 5, with PSLE preparation support also mentioned. For families worried that their child’s English weakness started early and never quite got resolved, My English School may be appealing because their approach is not just about exam drilling. They place strong emphasis on reading, vocabulary, writing, comprehension and confidence in expression.
Why Parents Choose My English School?
Parents often choose My English School when they want a specialist English tuition centre rather than a general tuition provider. That can matter when a child’s struggles are deeply language-based, such as weak sentence structure, shallow vocabulary or limited reading fluency. Small classes and regular progress checks may also reassure parents who feel they are paying for tuition elsewhere but still cannot tell what is actually improving. The school’s mix of native-level English-speaking teachers, MOE-aware curriculum planning and regular parent updates may suit families who want clearer visibility into progress over time.
We have been with this centre for a few years now, specifically under Teacher El. He is a fantastic tutor who truly knows how to bring out the best in his students. My son's confidence in English has grown so much under his guidance. The reception staffs as always being friendly and helpful. Keep up the good job!!!

I’m really glad I enrolled my girls in this English enrichment centre. It has been such a good place for them to build a strong foundation in English. The teachers and admin staff are always so dedicated and genuinely take good care of my children.
The admin team is also very helpful when it comes to rescheduling any missed classes, always very accommodating and efficient.
A special shout-out to Teacher AL! Both my kids adore him. He teaches with so much patience and truly understands how each child learns, guiding them at their own pace. He never stresses them, but encourages them in such a positive way. I’m really grateful for the impact he has made on their learning journey.
My son has been with My English School (Jurong East Branch) for almost two years now, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and guidance he’s received.
His current teacher, Mr Alphonsus, is professional yet warm, and it really shows in my son’s progress. My son has developed a genuine love for the language and now handles phonics with confidence, something we never imagined when he first started!
A big shout-out to Clovie and Christina at the front desk. They’re always friendly, proactive with reminders, and so accommodating whenever we’ve needed to switch class times. Their kindness makes every visit a pleasure.
The fees are very reasonable for the quality of teaching and support. Honestly, this place is a real gem in the neighbourhood. Highly recommend it for any parent looking to help their child build a strong English foundation and enjoy learning along the way.
My child has had a wonderful experience at My English School in the K1 class. The teacher make learning enjoyable every week. I’m really happy to see how much progress my child has made. They can now recognise letters confidently and are even keen to try blending words on their own!

Learning Point is a long-established education brand in Singapore, with roots going back to 1995. For parents comparing primary English tuition centres, that longevity may matter because English teaching quality often depends on whether a programme has had time to refine its curriculum beyond trend-based materials. Learning Point offers Primary English alongside Math and Science, with a reputation for fun yet rigorous lessons. Their English programme is designed to build confidence in reading, writing and expression while staying aligned with MOE expectations. They also place importance on critical and creative thinking, which is relevant for children who can memorise stock phrases but still struggle to write with clarity or respond thoughtfully in comprehension.
Why Parents Choose Learning Point?
Parents may choose Learning Point because it offers a balance many families want but do not always find, strong academic rigour without making English feel purely mechanical. Their long track record can be reassuring if your child needs a stable programme rather than frequent changes in method. Complimentary assessments may also help parents who are unsure whether the main issue is writing, comprehension, vocabulary or general learning habits. For children who need structured support and regular reinforcement, Learning Point’s approach may feel especially helpful during the build-up to upper primary and PSLE-level English demands.
Before joining learning point, one of my initial struggles was answering comprehension questions accurately. Learning Point provides great tips and compre techniques which has helped give me a sense of direction whenever i come across compre!
Through the programme, I have definitely seen improvement in terms of knowing how to answer the questions, as well as developing a stronger grasp of the fundamentals when it comes to continuous writing in a cohesive, structured manner.
What makes LP so special is the learning environment! The lessons are engaging and enjoyable, and the ‘current buzz’ segment in every lesson really helped me broaden my general knowledge and strengthen content development. Continually, the class encourages students to write freely and develop their own individual voice!
I also want to add that my teacher Mrs Lee Jo Ann was consistently supportive and encouraging not only academically, but also in checking in on students’ overall well-being, making learning fun and enjoyable at the same time. I think this holistic approach rlly makes LP meaningful and empowering.
Both my children were taught by teacher En Tong, and they really enjoyed her lessons and showed clear improvement during the time with her. While my younger child did not do as well as expected, En Tong genuinely did her best and was very dedicated and supportive. The centre staff are helpful and approachable as well. I would be happy to enrol my youngest child with her again in the future and hope my last child will get the chance to learn under her one day.
My child has been with Teacher En Tong for the past year for P3 Math and we really appreciate her dedication in teaching, putting in extra time and effort to make sure the weaker students could follow up with the class. My child really enjoyed her classes. Would be better if the centre is more understanding and flexible with their terms and conditions though..
Happy Teacher’s Day! As a parent, I just want to extend my deepest thanks for the care, dedication, and guidance the teachers have given to my child through the tuition sessions. The support has made a tremendous difference — not just in academics, but in my child’s overall confidence and attitude toward learning.
We’ve seen the progress, the growing curiosity, and the renewed motivation, and we know that much of it is because of the teachers' patience, encouragement, and consistent effort. They’ve been more than just a tutor — they've been a mentor and a positive influence in our child’s life.
Wishing you a well-deserved Happy Teacher’s Day, filled with the appreciation and respect you’ve so truly earned.
Thank you for the time, effort, and heart you've put into teaching our children. It’s clear that your lessons go beyond the curriculum. You’ve helped them grow in confidence, develop discipline, and take ownership of their learning. The support and encouragement you consistently offer have made a real difference.
We’re truly grateful for the positive environment you’ve created—one where questions are welcomed, mistakes are part of learning, and each child is seen for who they are. We appreciate the efforts and time you’ve put in to guide our children.
On this special day, we wanted to express our deepest gratitude for the wonderful impact you’ve had on our daughter Emma. Your passion for teaching shines through in your clear explanations and nurturing patience at the Thomson Plaza center. You have not only helped her grasp mathematical concepts but have also ignited a genuine interest and belief in her own abilities.
Thank you for creating such a positive and encouraging learning environment. We truly appreciate everything you do.
Wishing you a joyful celebration surrounded by appreciation and happiness!

The Write Connection is one of the most recognisable specialist brands for primary English tuition in Singapore. Established in 2012 and built on a teaching methodology first developed in 2002, they focus strongly on writing, reading and exam-oriented English skills from Primary 1 to Primary 6. For parents who feel their child’s English marks stay stuck despite effort, The Write Connection may stand out because they do not just give more practice, they use structured frameworks to teach how writing and comprehension actually work. Their programmes include both Writing Enrichment and exam-focused English tuition, which allows families to choose whether the child needs broader language development, more direct school support, or both.
Why Parents Choose The Write Connection?
Parents often choose The Write Connection when composition writing is a major stress point at home. Many children read model essays repeatedly but still cannot generate original ideas or structure a coherent story under exam conditions. The Write Connection’s appeal lies in its explicit teaching frameworks and targeted feedback, which may help children understand why their writing is not scoring. Their Prep Matters programme can also be useful for children who need broader paper coverage beyond composition alone. For busy parents, the mix of physical centres and live online learning adds practical flexibility.
Our kid attended Ms Nawirah’s writing classes 3 months prior to the PSLE and enjoyed her classes tremendously. Ms Nawirah has gone the extra mile to help my kid catch up with compo writing, as well as helping her with the oral preparations. We are very grateful for Ms Nawirah’s guidance and patience. Many thanks!!
Have always been impressed with the teachers and staff at TWC since my daughter joined them in P4 at the Bedok branch and subsequently at Parkway Parade. We are particularly grateful to Ms Nawirah for her guidance since P5. She is always meticulous and comprehensive in her teaching, always going the extra mile to help when needed. The additional practices and guidance given outside lesson hours went a long way to giving my daughter the extra encouragement needed. We felt we were in good hands every step of the way and that made the arduous P6 journey so much more assuring!
My son has been attending the writing program at TWC since P3 T2. In his recent P5 EOY exam, he did pretty well (33/36) for his composition writing, which is a testament of the well curated content/program and writing techniques taught by TWC.
We are very much supported by a group of dedicated and passionate teachers at TWC throughout the years, especially Teacher Tracie Wong, whom constantly provided constructive feedback and encouraging words to spur my boy to do better.
Also the customer service officer, Sherui, would go the extra mile to help us in scheduling our make up lessons despite last minute notice.
We are grateful to the team of teachers and staff who made our learning journey enjoyable and rewarding at TWC.
Last but not least, I would strongly recommend TWC to parents of children who do not like to memorize chunks of paragraphs for composition writing.
Ms Germaine Quek has been such an inspirational teacher to our daughters. Competent and dedicated, she has a keen interest in coaching students to be better writers. Thank you Ms Germaine for your dedication and hard work.
Excellent customer service from the centre manager Sherui, she is one of the best customer service officers that we have met. She is approachable and always strikes to address the customers’ needs. She is part of the reasons why we stay with the centre. Thank you.
The TWC We class has definitely widened my boy's vocabulary base and equipped him with great writing techniques. He has attended the class since P4 and is taking PSLE this year. I have seen tremendous improvements in my boy's writing and he looks forward to attend every lesson. Would like to commend about the dedication of Ms Deborah, who has been providing updates on their learning progress and giving encouragement to the children. She has been very responsible and responsive to parent's enquiries too. I am also grateful to have a helpful and responsive admin, Sherui. She is friendly and really prompt in replying or help with any enquiries. Thumbs up to their professional service and will definitely recommend friends to enrol with them.

Lil’ but Mighty English is a specialist English tuition provider that focuses on Primary and Secondary learners, making it highly relevant for parents searching specifically for primary English tuition. Established in 2015, they are known for small classes, practical exam strategies and a teaching style that tries to make English less intimidating for children. Their primary English tuition covers Primary 1 to Primary 6 and is available both on-site and live online. This may appeal to families whose child needs stronger support in composition, comprehension, grammar or oral, but does not thrive in large-group environments. Lil’ but Mighty English also positions confidence-building as part of the learning process, not just a side benefit.
Why Parents Choose Lil’ but Mighty English?
Parents are often drawn to Lil’ but Mighty English because the classes are very small, capped at six students. That can make a real difference when a child needs direct correction and cannot simply hide at the back of the room. Their teaching is also strategy-driven, which may help children who are trying hard but still lose marks because they do not understand question types or answering expectations. Families who want regular feedback may also appreciate the monthly updates and review of school papers. For children who need structure without losing motivation, this format may feel more personal and manageable.
Teacher Vani was very patient with me throughout the entire journey, from the time i told her that i wanted to retake my o levels to the end of o levels, she would check in on me and encourage me to focus on my o levels. Even though it was challenging at the start, as i have already learnt most of the things. im really glad to have her by my side journeying alongside me. she is very understanding and encouraging. i was honestly very shocked when i got my results as i did not expect this results:)) im very appreciative towards teacher vani for putting in so much effort into making sure her students are well equipped. thank youu
Teacher Saha was very encouraging and supportive, and helped to boost my child's confidence in English. I would definitely recommend enrolling your child here as the teachers provide helpful tips and lessons are engaging! Additionally, through English lessons, my child developed relevant skills on how to tackle difficult questions, and as a result, she was able to perform her best in the PSLE. This tuition centre will definitely help your child to improve considerably and I can assure you that it is worth it!
Teacher Saha is a very caring and a kind teacher. He updates and gives feedback to parents of the child's progress. My daughter, Shiva, likes Teacher Saha and looks forward to his class. Her English grades are also great after coming to Lil but Mighty. Thank You Teacher Saha.
Mr Saha is a dedicated teacher, and never fails to help his students who needed additional help in their English. He provided Jenyce with extra coaching during his break time in between his lessons for the PSLE oral exam preparation, which boosted my child's confidence. On other days, he would always reply to our questions that were sent over AQ connect, in timely manner. Many of our doubts were clarified! Mr Saha comes across to us as a knowledgeable teacher, and confident in his teaching. He always encourages Jenyce to do well and have confidence in herself. He is indeed a STAR teacher in the centre!
Thank you! From Jenyce & Jenyce's mummy

The Alternative Story is a specialised English tuition brand that serves both Primary and Secondary students, with a clear focus on making English engaging without losing academic seriousness. Established in 2008, they have built a reputation around lively teaching, regular writing support and a curriculum aligned with the MOE English syllabus. For parents looking at primary English tuition centres, The Alternative Story may be worth considering if their child needs stronger composition development, more guided comprehension practice or better oral expression. Their programmes include regular English classes and creative writing options, and they also offer online lessons with materials sent to students’ homes.
Why Parents Choose The Alternative Story?
Parents may choose The Alternative Story because it tries to balance exam needs with a more engaging classroom feel. That can matter when a child has started to resist English tuition after too much repetitive drilling elsewhere. Their experienced teaching team is another draw, especially for parents who want reassurance that the tutor can handle both weaker learners and stronger writers who simply need refinement. The regular feedback and parent communication may also help families track whether the child is improving in the right areas.
My son has been with TAS since Primary 2 and he was privileged to have Teacher Elaine and Teacher Joanne teaching him. Teacher Elaine is always ensuring I am kept updated on his progress and she takes time to have calls with me to go through his weak areas and how she intends to help him. It also helps that her method of teaching is well received by my son and he listens to her and applies accordingly. Teacher Joanne took on my boy when he was entering into the PSLE year. Initially, I was concerned that his learning will be affected but he was very contented to stay on with Teacher Joanne. Teacher Joanne has gone beyond herself to ensure the my boy is always encouraged and motivated. She has also provided meaningful advice and insights on how I can support my boy at home. My son has managed to hold his consistent performance under her guidance and he scored AL1 for his PSLE. Special shoutout to both Teacher Elaine and Teacher Joanne for both their dedication and unwavering support.
We are incredibly grateful to have Tr Elaine teaching both my boys. She is such a dedicated and caring English teacher and consistently goes above and beyond for her students — often giving extra lessons on her own time for the psle kids and patiently working with them on their weak areas until they improve.
What we appreciate most is how intentional she is about understanding each child’s needs and tailoring her guidance accordingly. Her commitment, encouragement and belief in her students truly make a difference.
Under her watch and guidance, my son Elliott managed to score an AL2, which we are extremely thankful for. This achievement would not have been possible without her time, effort and genuine dedication.
Highly recommended to any parent looking for a teacher who truly cares about her students’ growth and progress!
It’s been such a good journey with TAS (AMK Branch). My daughter has been with them since P3 and took the regular English class that covers Paper 1, Paper 2, and Oral. I never had to worry about whether everything would be covered—their programmes are well-structured and organised. The materials are detailed yet concise, and easy for students to understand and use.
A special shout-out to Teacher Andy. My daughter genuinely enjoyed his lessons. He’s encouraging, keeps the kids engaged, and provides regular, clear feedback so we can work on her weaker areas together. His guidance was consistent and practical.
Under his guidance, my daughter achieved AL1 in her 2025 PSLE English. She was over the moon when she saw the result, and we were so proud. We’re truly grateful for Tr Andy’s commitment, care, and dedication.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Teacher Dione for her dedication, patience, and support. She has been teaching my son, Gareth, since Primary 4 at TAS Jubilee Square. When Teacher Dione moved to the Djitsun Mall branch, my son chose to follow her as he likes her teaching style.
During the PSLE period, Teacher Dione went above and beyond by providing extra lesson to ensure the students were well prepared. She consistently gave constructive feedback to parents and made efforts to encourage him to participate more in class and speak up, especially since he is weaker in oral skills and tends to be quiet. Her encouragement and belief in him helped to build his confidence.
Under her good guidance, my son was able to achieve AL1 in his PSLE 2025. We are truly grateful for Teacher Dione’s commitment, care, and dedication. Thank you very much.
My son has been taking lesson with Teacher Michelle from the beginning of the year. He really likes her teaching style and always enjoys learning under her guidance. Despite attending online, Teacher Michelle never fails to engage the students well and always gives clear explanations. She also gives detailed and personalised feedback about the student work and what they learn in class. Sincerely thankful to Teacher Michelle for her partnership in my son English learning journey. He got satisfying results all the way from WA till EOY! 🙏❤️

The Eton Academy offers Primary programmes in English, Math and Science, with English positioned as both a language and communication subject rather than only an exam paper. For parents comparing primary English tuition centres, this may be appealing if their child needs help not only with grammar and comprehension, but also with oral confidence, reading habits and writing anxiety. Their English curriculum uses children’s literature, phonics-related support for younger learners, and a communication module called Develop Your Voice. That wider approach may suit children who are capable but hesitant, or those who need English to feel more accessible before marks can improve.
Why Parents Choose The Eton Academy?
Parents may choose The Eton Academy when they want primary English tuition that feels less drill-heavy and more developmental. Some children struggle not because they cannot memorise grammar rules, but because they lack vocabulary, confidence or the ability to organise thoughts clearly. The Eton Academy’s broader language approach may help these children grow more naturally over time. Their use of stories, discussions and oral work can also appeal to parents whose child is bright but disengaged.
The interaction between teachers and students is very good. My daughter likes to come here to attend classes and her English teacher who is Ms. Crisaan very much. The teacher will let the children learn English through many activities. My daughter's English has improved significantly. Strongly recommend to join The Eton Academy at Canberra Plaza.
My son has been studying English and Math at this tutoring center since April. The teachers are very attentive and patient, with a great ability to guide the children. They can lead the kids to complete tasks diligently and cultivate their interest in learning, which I find excellent. In the TURN3 Math exam, my child achieved a perfect score for the first time in the class, and I’m very proud of him. I believe this is also a great encouragement for the tutoring teachers, showing that their work is effective. Within just a few months, my son’s English vocabulary and reading skills have improved, making English and Math the subjects I find most worthwhile. Lastly, I want to extend my sincere thanks to his Math teacher, Phoebe, and his English teacher,Jessy!❤️😊
My child has been studying English at Eton Academy since K2, she has made a big improvement in English. I’m glad to see her becoming more and more confident with her studies. She is currently in Primary 1 and excelling in English at school, especially in grammar. We are very grateful for Teacher Jessy's guidance. The Edu Experience offers Primary tuition across English, Chinese, Math and Science, with a distinctive model that allows students to attend extra classes each week at no additional cost. For parents exploring primary English tuition centres, that feature may be the first thing that stands out, especially if their child needs repeated exposure and guided practice rather than one lesson a week and hope for the best. Their English programme covers core language development, grammar, creative writing, oral communication and critical comprehension. The tuition setup is supported by a mobile app that helps with lesson booking, progress tracking and feedback, giving parents more visibility into how the child is doing.
Why Parents Choose The Edu Experience?
Parents may choose The Edu Experience because the unlimited tuition model directly addresses a common frustration, one lesson is often not enough. Some children need to revisit comprehension strategies, writing techniques or grammar concepts several times before they truly stick. Extra classes at no added cost can be especially useful for children who are willing to work but need more guided repetition. Small class sizes and app-based progress tracking also help parents stay informed instead of guessing whether tuition is working.
My child enjoys his lessons in edu experience and always look forward to go lesson. The teachers give regular feedback so that I know how my child is progressing and the concept of unlimited class is something new to me. The staff in the center are all very friendly and can see the children there all enjoying the lesson. Edmund and Raymond are both very helpful whenever i have any questions on my child progress.
I’m very happy with the English tuition provided for my son. The lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to his learning needs. I’ve seen a clear improvement in his confidence and language skills. Highly recommended
An excellent center for your children. The teachers are very engaged, and caring. The syllabus is up to date and the lesson structure organises very well such that it fully prepares your child for the exams. Not sure of the lessons or need a little more revision? Check in for more lessons at no extra cost thanks to the unlimited class feature. Highly recommended.
I discovered and enrolled my children into TEE late last year. I love their concept of "unlimited tuition", where children can come and attend lessons again to better grasp the concepts. My children have greatly benefited from this, and I can see their progress over the months. The centre also provides both children and parents with a space to eat, mingle and study, fostering a sense of community and belonging, rather than just being a place where students just come and go. Over the past 5 months, I observed the transformation of my children's learning attitude. They are now far more motivated and engaged than before, making use of the after school hours fruitfully. My children take TEE as their second home, and I’m so grateful for the positive impact TEE has had on their growth!
The quality of teaching at this tutoring center is excellent. The teachers are very professional and patient, offering personalized guidance based on each student's learning needs.
My two sons really enjoys the unlimited class sessions. He says that when he doesn't understand something the first time, by the second or third session, it becomes clear. Attending multiple sessions has a noticeable effect. The lessons are engaging, often involving Scientific Experiment and free English Writing classes to enhance understanding. Every year they take the kids on field trips to places like (Science Museum, Aquarium, and Zoo)which greatly boost the children's interest in learning.
The center's environment is also very comfortable, The classroom is bright and spacious , with a waiting area for parents, fully equipped facilities, and a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for students who want to improve their grades!

iMatter Learning Centre is an MOE-approved tuition centre based in Yishun, offering primary-level subjects including primary English tuition. Established in 2018, it is positioned as a smaller, more personalised option compared with bigger English tuition centres. Class sizes are typically kept to no more than six students, which may appeal to parents whose child needs close attention and does not learn well in larger classrooms. iMatter’s teaching style places emphasis on explanation, discussion and varied activities rather than worksheet completion alone. For Primary English, that matters because many children do not improve simply by doing more practices, especially if no one is helping them analyse question demands or understand recurring writing weaknesses.
Why Parents Choose iMatter Learning Centre?
Parents may choose iMatter Learning Centre because the small class size is genuinely tight, not just marketed as small. For a child who gets overlooked easily, this can mean more chances to ask questions, receive feedback and stay mentally present during lessons. The teaching approach also appears less worksheet-driven than many traditional tuition setups. That may help children who shut down when English becomes repetitive or discouraging. Families in the north may additionally appreciate the convenient Yishun location.
My son used to score E8 for A Maths. After engaging iMatter for tuition, his results improved within 6 months. He scored A2 for A Maths during O Levels. Thank you iMatter for coaching my son till he achieved great results.
My son was struggling Maths and Science. After joining IMatter which was great because i found out that they focus small group, he was the only student. I was glad the teacher could assist him and for PSLE my son got A! Kuddos to the teacher who still give report even when he didnt attend to follow up so he wouldnt miss anything. Definitely recommending my siblings for their children!
I enjoyed to last two years of learning at imatter! After WA1, where I scored C5 for my pure chem, I searched for a tuition centre and found imatter which was in a convenient location near home. By EOYs, I scored A1 which brought my overall up to B3! I recommended imatter to a bunch of my classmates and through imatter, we were all able to improve significantly. Thank you Mr Kwok!!
Attended the physics tuition here. The resources and notes provided were very helpful, which forces us to really think and remember the difficult concepts here. Having been with them since Sec 3, they managed to pull my grades up from a F9 to a A2 in 1.5 years! Shoutout to Mr Kwok for being such a patient teacher during my time here, and I am sincerely grateful for his help that made me find my interest in physics again!
honestly when I started attending the tuition I wasn't expecting much from it but man was I wrong, I learn so much from Mr Kwok and Mr Chong in a span of two years or so. Their energy and teaching methods have always manage to make the lessons enjoying and lively. Both teachers are very patient with their students, they don't hesitate to help us out whenever we are struggling with the questions. I personally feel that I have improve in my subjects more than before. Thank you for your hard work!!

How to Choose the Best Primary English Tuition for Your Child?
The best English tuition is not simply the most popular or the most expensive option. In most cases, the better fit comes from matching the programme to your child’s actual learning needs, so it helps to pause and think through a few practical points before deciding.
Choose based on the main gap, whether your child needs help with comprehension, composition writing, grammar, oral communication or overall language foundation.
Look at teaching approach and class size, because some children do best in a lively small group while others need highly personalised guidance or home tuition.
Check tutor experience and feedback style, especially whether mistakes are corrected clearly and progress is explained in a way parents can actually follow.
Factor in practical realities such as location, lesson timing, reviews and budget, because even a strong programme is less helpful if the routine becomes too tiring to sustain.
A calm, realistic choice usually works better than chasing the perfect option. When the primary English tuition arrangement suits your child’s pace and personality, progress often feels steadier, and home revision can become less stressful for everyone.
