The interaction between teachers and students is very good. My daughter likes to come here to attend classes and her English teacher who is Ms. Crisaan very much. My son has been studying English and Math at this tutoring center since April. The teachers are very attentive and patient, with a great ability to guide the children. They can lead the kids to complete tasks diligently and cultivate their interest in learning, which I find excellent. In the TURN3 Math exam, my child achieved a perfect score for the first time in the class, and I’m very proud of him. I believe this is also a great encouragement for the tutoring teachers, showing that their work is effective. Within just a few months, my son’s English vocabulary and reading skills have improved, making English and Math the subjects I find most worthwhile. My child has been studying English at Eton Academy since K2, she has made a big improvement in English. I’m glad to see her becoming more and more confident with her studies. Enrolling my son in Jan & Elly has been a very good decision. I chose the programme after learning that their phonics classes place strong emphasis on making learning enjoyable, which aligns with my belief that children learn best when they are engaged and motivated. My son was with teacher Chelsea and she had been amazing—she was attentive, encouraging, and clearly dedicated to the children’s progress. I am incredibly happy with the Phoenix class my daughter is attending at Jan and Elly English Language School! She always has great fun and looks forward to every class. One thing that truly touched me was when Teacher Deborah got the whole class to sing an advance birthday song for Medina. It may seem like a small gesture, but I could see how much it meant to my daughter and how happy and appreciated she felt in that moment.
I also deeply appreciate Teacher Deborah’s honesty when it comes to Medina’s progress in class. Even though she has only recently become Medina’s teacher, I am truly grateful for the support, effort, warmth, and positive energy she brings. This is an excellent learning center! The teachers and principal are very dedicated! My child’s writing has improved tremendously here! It’s very different from other tutoring centers — the composition and reading lessons are no longer repetitive and dull. After 1.5 years with Wonderlit, my 4.5-year-old is now reading short passages independently! My child's science teacher is Mr. James. He is the most dedicated teacher my daughter has had since joining Mind Stretcher for science tutoring. When he first took over the class, he called each parent to understand every student's characteristics and weaknesses so that he could tailor his teaching methods accordingly. Throughout the teaching process, Mr. James regularly communicates with parents via messages to update them on their child's learning progress. Both my children were taught by teacher En Tong, and they really enjoyed her lessons and showed clear improvement during the time with her. While my younger child did not do as well as expected, En Tong genuinely did her best and was very dedicated and supportive. The centre staff are helpful and approachable as well. I would be happy to enrol my youngest child with her again in the future and hope my last child will get the chance to learn under her one day.
