I really enjoyed my classes at Sejong Korean Language School with Lizzie Saem (Noh Hae Rim Saem) as she was a very lively and fun! Also, classes were very insightful as she goes the extra mile to impart knowledge that will help you to absorb the vocabulary well and to understand the differences in word usages. I have spent 1.5 years learning from her and I have no regrets! Will definitely be back to learn more when I have the time.
Been attending Korean classes at Sejong for a year. I always look forward to attend Teacher Elly’s classes as she is always full of positive vibes and bubbly and her classes are always fun and interesting.
Due to the nature of my work, I had to arrange quite a number (okay, actually quite a lot) of replacement classes and thankfully, the system in place has made the process fuss-free. Yay.
I decided to take up Korean language as a way to pass time meaningfully during the pandemic, and 2.5 years on, I’m still at it! I’m very thankful to Sejong’s teachers who are always passionate and energetic in their teaching, and patient in their explanations. The classes are well-structured and the learning materials are concise and provides just enough detail. Shout out to the best teacher 헤선 쌤 who makes it a joy to come to class every Sunday! 🙂
Reasons why I am continuing my lessons in Sejong Korean Language School! •Great Teachers! I love 혜선(Ashley)선생님‘s teaching style! Very charming and always cheerful⭐️ •They have make up lesson option. I’ve just completed B1T2 and have really enjoyed my experience at Sejong over the past 6 months. The classes are paced well and are easy to keep up with so long as you can devote a little bit of time outside of class to study and practice for spelling tests. By attending lessons you also gain the opportunity to hone your pronunciation skills and learn bonus tidbits about how to sound more like a native speaker.
Our teacher - 박연하 선생님 (Park Younha) - is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and cheerful, and makes every lesson engaging and fun 🌸 (감사합니다, 선생님!)

I have just started the basic 1 course with ezSAM Korean language centre and it has already make me so into learning Korean language. Before the course starts, I’ve encountered a few problems and been asking many questions via email. However, they have patiently answer all my confusion and also provide the solution for me so that I can join them smoothly. And also, another reason I chose here is because of its ideal location which is just at town area, can be reached conveniently. In addition, the size of class is just nice for efficient learning. For the class I join has 4 students in total, teacher is able to focus on teaching us especially checking our pronunciation which is very important. And all students are ensure to be taken care during the class. I’m so grateful to have chosen here and also meet with great Teachers and classmates. Thank you ezSAM ! 선생님 감사합니다.
I started learning Korean at ezSAM since March this year. My friends and I first selected ezSAM because of its convenient location and its systematic teaching approach (they follow the SNU textbook from the very first lesson). After attending lessons for nearly half a year, I have come to look forward to Korean lesson every week. The small class size (5-8 people in my class) makes it conducive to learn and make new friends. Our 선생님 (teacher) is very friendly and approachable too. I also like that there is a focus on learning Korean culture. We had a kimbap making lesson at the end of our Basic-2 class! ezSAM is also suitable for those with a busy schedule, since it offers the flexibility of joining another class for make up lesson if you miss any of your lessons.
Have been with the school for many years.Simply love the teachers and people here.Teachers are friendly and patient in teaching and makes studying of Korean Language fun and interesting! Annually they will organise study trips to different parts of South Korea and other interesting activities like movie watching, traditional korean musical instruments learning and korean food cooking lessons. If you want a non- boring korean language environment, do consider ezSAM!
I have been with ezSAM since its opening back in 2012. It was one of the principal tutors, Ms Yom, who was a big driver that led me to ezSAM. I first got to know Ms Yom when I was enrolled in her class at the Singapore Korean International School, prior to ezSAM's opening. She was a fun-going, quirky and dedicated tutor who would always bring the best to the table for her students. She brought the very same spirit along with her when she moved on to ezSAM, as one of its founders.
My experience studying in ezSAM thus far (from basic through to my current pre-advanced level) has been an enjoyable one. I have been taught by various tutors (shoutouts to Ms Seo, Ms Sung, etc) who all had that same passion and dedication - to impart and share their knowledge about the Korean culture apart from simply teaching us the Korean language itself.
I would highly recommend ezSAM as a Korean language centre if you are looking for a holistic experience. ezSAM currently uses the syllabus from Seoul National University, which is reputable and well-known amongst the locals. The lessons are tailored to cater to the students pace in each class, so no one is left behind. Extra notes are also provided weekly to complement the textbook and workbooks.
ezSAM has come a long way these years, even introducing Korea study tours and international cultural exchange sessions. Furthermore, it is also common for the tutors to hold class gatherings or cooking sessions at the end of each semester, which makes for a really holistic experience. Overall, one would definitely enjoy the learning experience at ezSAM!

I really enjoyed this Korean language course! As a complete beginner, the lessons were easy to follow, engaging, and well-structured. The teacher Gye Ryung was patient and explained everything clearly, making learning fun and enjoyable. Time flew by so quickly, and I'm actually sad that the course has already ended. Thank you for making my first Korean learning journey such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended! "Looking forward to joining the next level!" 😊🇰🇷
Teacher Jun teaches well and added many components additional to the lessons and made it very interesting and engaging for me and classmates. Maybe it is time constraints that the classes are always very fast paced but with recording I am able to catchup and prepare for my upcoming lessons always.
A great group of classmates who are more hard working than me. 😄 Teacher Eunju is very nice and attentive to our needs. 4 star review from me instead of 5 because pace is quite fast and the textbook being used is very old style in teaching format. Wish we could have this class 1 hour each week instead of 2 because 2 hours is a long attention span for me to keep.
I had a wonderful experience attending this Korean language class. The lessons were well-structured, practical, and very enjoyable. Teacher Christine is especially engaging — she explains concepts clearly, makes the class interactive, and always encourages participation, which makes learning feel natural and fun.

I have been learning Korean for 1.5 year here. Miss Choi is very nice and the class is fun! I like the small class size which allows us to talk more and easy to ask questions. If I cannot attend the class, Miss Choi would record the class so I can watch the recording later, which is super flexible and helpful. Highly recommend!
Teacher Choi is awesome, and I've signed up for the courses here because of her. I've learnt Korean at a few places at various stages, and have gained pretty much fluency with reading/writing. However, listening/speaking remains challenging for me even after slightly over 100 hours of learning combined, not just due to the sheer bullet speed of authentic Korean speaking but also the phonological processes of connected speech. In this regard, I particularly appreciate Teacher Choi's attentive care to these listening points and perception strategies. She also regularly connects new grammatical structures to previous ones, which helps our retention. It's not often that one gets such experienced teaching at the basic levels, so do take advantage of the opportunity here.
Just completed Basic 2 with iSpeak Korean Language Centre, and it was the best decision ever. The lesson pace is just nice, easy to follow and understand. Teacher Choi is very patient and the classroom environment is very conducive due to the relatively small class size. I am now able to understand and form sentences in Korean much better than before. Location is convenient and it is quite affordable as well, as compared to some other centres. Will be continuing Basic 3 with them, highly recommend!
Highly recommended for those who wants to study Korean, even though from 0 basic!! 1. Very patience and encouraging teacher Choi!! She is very nice and approachable. 2. The course price was relatively cheap compared to other schools, and location is at walkable distance from Kovan MRT. I especially appreciated the class size of fewer than 10 students, which allowed for personalized attention and a supportive learning environment. It made a big difference in my progress and confidence.

Been learning Korean for 9 months with SeoulKorean and I have to say that the virtual classes are what I look forward to every week! Teacher Song is very encouraging and it has been reassuring to learn the language proper from a native. I also liked that I save time from traveling and the virtual classes are engaging no less.

Finally completed 8 weeks of my foundational class!! Was taught by Teacher Emily. She had us engaged throughout all 8 lessons with her bubbly energy. I like that it was a small class so there was better interaction as well.
Overall the classes made learning Korean fun! Would highly recommend 🙂
I’ve been learning Korean at ONLYOU since September 2025, and it has been a wonderful experience. Teacher Michelle Ahn is very good — clear, supportive, and engaging. The class size is just right, making it comfortable to learn and easy to participate. Overall, it has been a great experience, and I look forward to class each week.
I have been learning Korean as a private student with Teacher Michelle Ahn (은진 선생님) for almost half a year going, and ALWAYS look forward to classes every week due to her infectious energy, friendliness, and enthusiasm!! Lessons are very engaging due to the numerous interactive components in class, as well as relating content back to Kdramas, Kpop, K-variety shows and the Korean culture. Whenever I get confused over certain grammatical terms, Teacher Ahn takes the time to go over them with me patiently, and ensures that I have mastered them before moving on. Thank you 은진 선생님 for always making class so enjoyable and inspiring me to continuously hone my Korean skills outside of class!! 🙂
Have been learning korean language with ONLYOU since last year august. Have attended both their physical and online classes. So far so good, i find that i understand better after attending the class as compared to self learning. The class size are usually around 10 or less, hence it is good environment for leaning. There are exams, homeworks and textbook for students to learn korean better. The only thing i would suggest for improvement would probably to encourage all students to speak only korean as much as they can during the class. Just like how foreign students learn it at korea language schools.
I thoroughly enjoy my experience studying at ONLYOU. Despite being in an online class, I feel well connected with my teachers and classmates and the pace at which syllabus is being taught makes me feel confident in my learning growth for the Korean language. Our principal is also very flexible and accommodating to my personal schedule and ensures that I do not get left behind in any event I miss a class. Highly recommend if you’re intending to start your Korean learning journey!

It was a very unpleasant experience signing up for lessons with this school.
I attended the first lesson but had to miss the second, third, and fourth lessons due to a work trip. I was initially told that videos would be provided for the lessons I missed. However, despite my repeated messages, I received no response for weeks.
When they finally got back to me, I was told I had to pay $54.50 for the videos! How ridiculous is that?? I had no choice but to agree, but once again there was no reply. Three weeks later, after I followed up again, I was informed that the videos would expire within a few days. I couldn't understand how I was expected to complete 9 videos in such a short time.
To their credit, they extended my access by one week. I then requested just three more days because the access period ended before the weekend, when I actually had time to watch them. They agreed but said that the videos would be gradually deleted.
After I made the payment and finally received access, six of the videos were deleted just two days after the expiry date. When I asked why, I was told their storage was full and the videos had to be deleted.
The school offered either a refund of the $54.50 or videos from another class. When I chose the latter, they said they could not provide them due to the privacy of other students, so they refunded the fee instead.
While I appreciate the refund, I ended up paying for lessons that I never got to learn from. The entire experience was frustrating due to the poor communication, long delays in responding, and inflexible policies. This has been the most disappointing experience I've had with a training school in Singapore.
Ms Kim Mi Kyung’s lesson is very interactive and it’s amazing how we can start reading in Korean and say basic sentences. She makes lessons very interesting and easy to understand. The hybrid lesson option also makes it more flexible for working adults. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn korean.
I had a great experience with my Korean private classes, especially with my teacher, Mi Kyung. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly encouraging right from the start, which made learning feel comfortable and enjoyable.
What I really appreciated was how she tailored each lesson to my level and pace. The structure was flexible and adapted to what I needed.
Overall, it felt very personalised and supportive. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Korean in a way that’s both effective and enjoyable!
Have been learning Korean with them for 2.5 years. Zoom classes are conducted in small groups which is great as there’s time to go around to speak & allow the teacher to guide/correct. Ms Kim MK is very nurturing, patient & attentive towards our progress. She helps to strengthen our weakness, build more confidence. She’s also responsive to our questions when we’re doing self studies. Will definitely continue learning from her for the next terms to come.
Really enjoyed my lessons with the school for the past 3 years. Especially grateful to Teacher John Park who help built my foundations right, and Teacher Kim Mikyung who continued to make lessons enjoyable with clear examples to demonstrate new grammar and taking effort to reinforce previous ones. Highly recommend this school to anyone serious about learning Korean, the teachers here are very encouraging and patient!

How to Choose the Best Korean Class for Your Child
Teacher experience: Check for relevant language qualifications and experience with your child’s age group.
Age suitability: Confirm that lessons, activities and class duration suit children rather than adult learners.
Starting level: Choose a programme that assesses prior knowledge and places your child appropriately.
Curriculum structure: Look for clear progression through Hangeul, vocabulary, grammar and the four language skills.
Speaking practice: Ask how often learners speak Korean through dialogue, role-play or guided exchanges.
Class size: Consider whether quieter children will receive enough individual attention and practice time.
Teaching approach: Match games and cultural activities with younger learners, while older students may prefer structured progression.
Learning goals: Decide whether your child needs communication skills, cultural exposure, holiday enrichment or TOPIK preparation.
Progress feedback: Ask how teachers monitor learning through homework, assessments, certificates or level-completion requirements.
Lesson format: Compare physical, live online, hybrid and private options around concentration and communication preferences.
Class environment: Consider whether children feel comfortable asking questions and trying unfamiliar phrases.
Cultural content: Check that music, stories, food, customs or media support rather than replace language instruction.
Schedule access: Review travel time, MRT access, lesson timing and online availability before committing.
Make-up options: Understand arrangements for missed lessons, recordings, rescheduling or private catch-up support.
Fee clarity: Compare tuition with textbooks, materials, registration charges, trial classes and compulsory costs.
