However, why I'm giving a 3 star review is because it's not totally as advertised on the site. For instance, there is no longer any Egg Harvesting & this was not made known until I asked. Additionally, there is no tasting but we did get to smell the plants. Lastly, they no longer have the insects advertised on their page & we only got to interact with mealworms & earthworms.

The environment was peaceful, rustic, and free for visitors to move around at their own pace. Watching the goats and soaking in the farm atmosphere made for a refreshing and relaxing outing. Although we missed the milking session this time, it definitely gave us a reason to return earlier on our next visit.
A unique and educational experience for both adults and children, highly recommended especially if you want to see a different side of Singapore beyond the usual attractions.
The current location is much more remote compared to the previous one, making it less convenient to access without a car. We took bus 925 to the nearest stop (Kranji Park Carpark B) and had to walk about 15 minutes along a mix of road, grass, and paths to reach the farm.
We arrived around 1:45pm when the crowd was smaller. However, due to the hot weather, the goats were less active. We took a break at the seating area to rest and have some drinks before heading back to the feeding area. By then, it had become much more crowded, with many children running around.
Interestingly, once it started raining, the goats became more active and eagerly ate the hay we fed them — they always seem hungry! The older goats are housed in a separate building next to the younger ones. Overall, it was a unique experience, though getting there can be a bit inconvenient without a car.
The farm isn’t very large, but that makes it easy to explore at a comfortable pace. You can see the goats up close, learn about the milking process, and if you go early, even catch the milking session. They also sell fresh goat milk, which has a surprisingly mild and smooth taste.
It’s also very kid-friendly. There’s enough space for children to move around safely, and they’ll enjoy feeding the goats and experiencing a working farm environment. It’s a nice mix of fun and light learning for young kids.
Best to visit in the morning before it gets too warm. Overall, it’s a simple but enjoyable outing, especially suitable for families with children.

Fresh Goat Milk: After walking around, head to the kiosk to try their fresh milk. It comes in original and chocolate flavors; the chocolate is a huge hit with little ones who might be skeptical of the "farm" taste. Book in pelago and you'll get free Hay, milk and a souvenir.
Visitors can also purchase alfalfa hay at $5 per packet to feed the goats at the back of the farm. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a farm in Singapore, and the experience was enjoyable not only for the children but for us parents as well.
The farm is very clean, the animals are well maintained, and there was minimal livestock odour, which was unexpected and appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend a visit.

Had the weekend Nasi Campur special, nasi lemak with blue pea rice and chicken curry with prata. And lots of drinks as it was a hot day and need to rehydrate after the morning walk through Sungei Buloh Wetlands. Dessert was banana bread with vanilla ice cream.
They will stop operating at this location in December 2026 as Government is taking back the land for redevelopment, so make haste & visit before they are gone from this location.
The main review was their nasi lemak. FUIIIYO~ Its sooo good! The rice especially 我的天啊！while typing this, im craving for it. The OTAH TOO... Even my dad gives a thumbs up!

One of the highlights is the sheer variety of fish on display. During my visit, I saw everything from colourful goldfish and Flowerhorn cichlids to bright red parrot cichlids, luminous tetras, and even exotic freshwater stingrays. There are rows upon rows of illuminated tanks, making it easy to spend an hour or two exploring the different species
The farm is well-organised, with clearly marked areas for fish retail, accessories, specialty fish collections, and a café where visitors can take a break. I was also pleased to see signs indicating that some fish were undergoing medical treatment and were not for sale, suggesting that fish health and welfare are taken seriously
As a tourist attraction, however, it is important to set the right expectations. Qian Hu is fundamentally a working fish farm, so the environment is industrial and functional rather than polished or visually spectacular. Some areas can feel warm and warehouse-like, and visitors without much interest in fishkeeping may find that they have seen most of the highlights after a relatively short visit
We purchased 25 carindal tetra, 10 rummy-nose tetra and 12 ember tetra on 4 April.
1 rummy-nose tetra and 10 cardinal tetra died shortly within just 48 hours (they turned whitish due to some bacteria or fungus, and got sucked near our tank pump upon dying), despite us adding anti fungal medicine solution to our tank to prevent the fish from dying. We also isolated the affected fish but more continued to die unfortunately.
Within 1 week, only about 10 remained. We been keeping fish for decades and have treated the fish exactly as we did for other stores.
Unfortunately Qian Hu Fish did not survive. This is the second time this occured for the carindal tetra. Previously 2 years ago most also died within a week and all died within a few months. Carindal tetra usually live at least a year and some to a few years.
We assumed the past experience was one-off due to a poor quality batch of cardinal that were infected but unfortunately it seems to be a persisting issue this round. We emailed customer service but only received a short reply on advice to transfer the fish to the tank which we did correctly as per our past experience.
It is an unpleasant experience that the cardinal tetra from Qian Hu died so fast.
All in all, paying more at other stores for cardinal that can last longer is better than getting cardinal from Qian Hu at a cheaper price but don't last and most die quickly.

That said, the place feels more like a backyard farm rather than a proper attraction or museum. For example, their tanks and ponds are kept without filtration, and the water in certain areas appears rather dirty. I understand this could be due to cost constraints or temporary limitations, as they may not want to set up permanent infrastructure or electrical points if they know they will be relocating.
Hopefully, when they move to a new location, there will be improvements in terms of filtration systems, overall cleanliness, and facility standards to better support the animals and enhance the visitor experience.
Place is simple but turtles are cared for. There are feeds of vegetables to pallets that you can buy to feed the free roaming turtles. Some of them are kept in tanks as they can be territorial and have more space to themselves. Some of the bigger species are kept in enclosures. They have huge snapping turtles and soft shell turtles, as well as one giant tortoise free roaming which seem to prefer vegetable stems to other foods.
Overall a pleasant experience and nice place to let the family get to know more about these turtles.
Worth visiting and will definitely come again. My little one asks to visit every weekend after today’s first time visit.
There’s a Sunday cafe called “Touch Wood”worth visiting too, it’s just down the road. Moving in 2 weeks time, what a pity!
