Overall, Singapore Zoo is one of the best zoos we’ve visited. The animals appear well cared for, the park is beautifully maintained, and it’s an unforgettable experience for both adults and children.
One trade-off with this approach is that the animals are not always easy to spot. Some were resting away from view, hiding from the heat, or blending into their surroundings. While this can be slightly disappointing when you are hoping to catch a glimpse of a favourite animal, it also makes the experience feel more natural and less staged.
Although the zoo is large, it did not feel crowded even on a public holiday, as both the animals and visitors are fairly well distributed throughout the park.
The zoo is still very big, and I ended up walking quite a large number of steps even with tram rides. I would strongly recommend making use of the tram, especially when visiting with family or older relatives, as the walking can add up quickly and become tiring in the heat and humidity.
Personally, I found the visit enjoyable but also quite tiring due to the size. If comfort and a more relaxed pace are priorities, I found River Wonders easier to complete and more sheltered, though the zoo offers a wider variety of animals and a more expansive experience.
The Zoo Adventure Tour Group was a perfect way for my elderly parents to enjoy the whole zoo from the buggy. Our guide Ida was fantastic in giving us insightful information about each animal and giving us ample time at each viewing to enjoy. This tour includes: exclusive elephant feeding, goat grooming, personalised tour. Ida made sure that my parents had rest stops and brought them through ac environments to cool off. Thank you so much for your sincere care Ida.
If you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, I highly recommend checking out Forage at the resort near by. Reservations are recommended.
It’s also wonderfully family-friendly. We noticed thoughtful touches everywhere: stroller-friendly paths, clean restrooms, and plenty of spots for kids to take breaks. The staff were warm and helpful, which added to the welcoming vibe.
The animals looked healthy and active, and the enclosures were designed to give you great views without feeling cramped. Watching the giraffes up close and seeing the playful antics of the orangutans were absolute highlights.

During week days no big quee we can enjoy the leisure seating of with our family or friends.
During week ends most of the time 8 peoples are advised to board on the unit.
But there is no pressure during week days.
People are advised to not this point.

We can enjoy this trip.
It’s not just transportation,it feels like a memorable attraction on its own. The journey is smooth, comfortable, and gives you a unique perspective of Singapore from above.
Taking the cable car both ways (to Sentosa and back) made the experience even more special. It added a sense of adventure and relaxation to our trip.

I also saw a lot of monitor lizards, wild chickens, and even robotic grass cutters maintaining the garden—which was honestly so cute to watch. There are dining spots nearby as well, so it’s easy to spend hours there just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere.
What I also appreciated was how convenient it is for tourists. Both entrances are connected to train and bus stations, making the place very accessible.
Being there felt like a slowdown from normal city life. I even heard that picnics aren’t really a Singaporean thing, which surprised me because the place is perfect for it. I genuinely hope locals get to enjoy places like this as much as tourists do.
The children’s garden is the best of its type we have ever visited. So varied, beautiful, well designed and all round amazing.
I visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens in the evening. It is free for everyone to enter, which is a great benefit. Even at night, there were many people enjoying the quiet atmosphere.
The Atmosphere:
There is some dim lighting throughout the park, allowing you to see parts of the garden. However, I think it would be much more beautiful during the day! There is a large grassy area near the lake where people lie down to relax. Surrounded by natural trees, the vibe is very romantic.
Activities & Access:
The garden has many different entrances you can use to walk inside. It is definitely a paradise for joggers who want to run slowly and enjoy nature.
The Verdict:
The garden is so large that I think it’s best to visit during the day. That way, you can spend plenty of time exploring all the different sub-areas inside.
I arrived around 11 AM, and by that time the sun was already quite strong. Singapore’s tropical weather can get hot quickly, so visiting early in the morning would be the best time. I imagine the gardens must be perfect then for morning walks or jogging, with birds singing and a cooler, fresh atmosphere.
One highlight of my visit was the National Orchid Garden, which requires a ticket of around SGD 15. It was definitely worth it. The orchid displays are beautifully arranged and show a wide variety of orchid species and colors. The landscaping there is very impressive and feels like walking through a living floral exhibition.
The whole garden is quite large, and if you want to explore it properly and enjoy the different sections, you should plan 2–4 hours for the visit.
Overall, it’s a must-visit place in Singapore for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants a peaceful break from the busy city. I highly recommend visiting, especially in the early morning. 🌿🌺

I had a slot in the evening but reached early, explored the island, and even spotted a peacock while waiting. Did two rounds and it was totally worth it. The mix of thrill, breeze, and that view from the top? Unreal.
Before sunset, I wandered through Sentosa’s art structures and scenic spots, all beautifully designed and full of meaning.

To get to the top, you use the Skyride. Be aware that there are two cable lines; the higher one offers a fantastic view of the coastline, but it might be a bit much for people who dislike heights as it is quite exposed. Definitely worth doing at least three or four rides!
At first it looks pretty chill, like “okay this seems easy,” but once you’re actually going down, it’s way faster than expected 😂 You control your own speed, so you can go slow… but somehow we still ended up speeding up without realizing it lol. The track has a lot of turns too, so it keeps things exciting the whole way down.
It kind of feels like a mix of a go-kart and a mini roller coaster, except you’re fully in control—which makes it more fun (and a little scary at times 😅).
The chairlift ride going back up was such a nice break though. Super calm, nice breeze, and really good views—perfect to reset before doing it all over again.
Overall, super worth it. Definitely one of those rides you’ll want to do more than once 👍

Had my doubts about hosting a kids party here for 10 year olds. Thought someone would fall, cry, or some other disorganised mayhem. But the team here is very professional and guided our very large party seamlessly through all the activities and the day was absolutely PERFECTO!!
Highly recommend for kids of any age as they can go tandem with parents on the zip. Safety is top notch and the crew is reassuring and kind in guiding both adults and parents through all the nerve racking activities. I can’t thank them enough!! TIL next time.
We also tried the jump and mega zip. They will drive you up to the station after the registration at the counter. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. For those really adventurous, might not be that thrilling but should still be fun! Socks would be needed for bounce but maybe not with white socks.
The queue / waiting time might be a bit long, 15-45 minutes, usually 5 people go every 10 minutes. They also have an express pass but I don't think it's worth it especially if you go only once.
They also have a climbing zone suitable for adults and children over 6 years or something like that and bouncing area for smaller kids.

To avoid disappointment, I would strongly recommend booking online or calling in advance before your visit. There was once when we tried to walk in, but no slots were available. Since then, we have learned that it is always better to pre-book or check with them beforehand.
There are drinks and ice cream available for purchase onsite. And on the way to Forest Adventure, you will also pass by a public toilet, so I would suggest using the toilet before starting the activity.
Before the activity begins, you will go through a safety briefing and introduction. The staff are very experienced, professional, helpful, and friendly, which makes the whole experience feel safe and well-organized.
Forest Adventure has created wonderful childhood memories. Keep up the great work. We will definitely visit again.
Took the bus 67, stop at Clearwater condo. It's closer than Bedok Reservoir MRT.
The location on Google maps is not exact, is actually closer to Passion Wave.
We arrived in advance so as the staff was not busy, the kids were able to enjoy right away.
I recommend to read carefully the T&C before booking.
Plus, when you book your session and select your time slot, it's precised on the website that is for a 1 hour and a half. Actually, you are entitled to a number of courses, and not a time duration. 1 hour 30 is the maximum time you should take to complete the course. I found it a bit misleading, the kids though they would be able to be up in the trees during 1 hour 30 (so as they're good at this activity, they used only half of that supposed time).
If you don't join your kid in this activity, there is fully of shadowed seating.
I don't if we'll come back. We enjoyed a promotion today ($30 instead of $40), and afterwards I would prefer spend $40+ in an another outing.
Anyway, I believe it's a good place for first timers, and a very nice location.

Staff are well trained and give a good briefing and training before you start. Once you start though, you are on your own. It does take a certain level of fitness, balance ability and I guess you can't be too fearful of heights or too "gu-niang" 🙂
Safety is well managed. The main safety line cannot be detached until the end of each course. In addition there is a backup manual safety line.

The attraction keeps you engaged from start to finish, and there are restrooms conveniently located on different levels, making the visit comfortable as well.
The dinosaur-themed exhibits were a fantastic addition, especially the life-sized dinosaurs and the interactive dinosaur egg displays. They were incredibly realistic and made the visit exciting for both children and adults. Walking along the elevated bridge gave us breathtaking views of the forest canopy, waterfalls, and exotic plants from around the world. Every corner was beautifully designed and perfect for photography.
The combination of nature, education, and entertainment makes the Cloud Forest a truly unique destination. The cool climate, stunning landscapes, and impressive exhibits make it an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or as a couple, this is a must-visit attraction in Singapore. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return for future exhibitions!

From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed by the breathtaking indoor waterfall, which instantly sets the tone. The whole space feels like stepping into a misty rainforest, with cool air, lush greenery, and a peaceful yet dramatic atmosphere. We visited during the misting time, which added an extra layer of magic—the clouds and mist moving through the space made everything feel almost unreal.
The Jurassic World exhibition was very well done and blended naturally into the environment. The dinosaur displays were impressive and fun to discover as you walked through the different levels. It added a sense of adventure, especially as you move along the elevated walkways and explore the dome from different heights.
There was a short wait to go up when we visited, but I can imagine it getting quite busy and the lines becoming longer during peak times. Still, once inside, it’s very easy to take your time and enjoy everything at your own pace.
Everything is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of unique photo spots throughout. Between the dramatic waterfall, the misty atmosphere, and the interactive exhibition, it’s a place that feels both relaxing and exciting at the same time.
I would definitely recommend visiting, especially when special exhibitions like Jurassic World are happening—it truly makes the experience even more immersive and unforgettable. 🦖🌿
