One of the largest indoor playground in Singapore. Perhaps because its new netball the equipment is clean and functioning and very well maintained. There is also ample staff in blue to help maintain safety and order. Friendly and vigilant staff. Especially on the slightly more risky elements like the web and the slides.

The weekday all day play is excellent value for money. My son happily stayed there for 4 hrs. There is plentiful shoe racks, places to keep bags and toilets too.

I would happily consider getting the annual pass just to come here every month on a weekday.

came on a weekday to make use of the unlimited playtime and so that it wont be so crowded!

the place is beautifully decorated with animals and nature, love the immersive/interactive displays (like art science museum ), the space is big and aircon so nice to run around on a hot day! plenty of seats for parents to rest! toilets look clean!

downside:
1. they made parents buy grip socks even though there is nothing for adults to climb or run in. most other indoor playground are ok with adults in normal socks.

2. my 6yr old was bored after 1 hour! i think its more suited for toddlers below 5? the slides were very few and climbing parts were not too exciting.

3. the shoes. a bit weird to have to carry ur shoes all the way to the center to put at the shoe racks. i guess it's because the exit is at the opposite end of the entrance!

4. not worth the price if i cant keep them entertained for 2hrs!

Visited this relatively new indoor playground at Mandai on Sunday with my 5-year-old, and here’s some takeaways for fellow parents.

Firstly, be prepared for crowds. It was very packed, so I’d strongly recommend buying tickets online in advance and avoid weekends. They do a pretty casual check for grip socks at the entrance, so make sure you and your child are already wearing them or be ready to purchase a pair on the spot.

Once inside, note that shoe storage is located on the 2/F, which can be a bit inconvenient when it’s crowded. That said, the playground itself is beautifully designed. All the themed zones are creative, vibrantly colorful, and really engaging for kids.

Given how busy it was, I was relieved to see a few staff members stationed around the play areas helping to supervise and manage the flow. Still, with the number of people inside, it’s important to keep a close eye on your child at all times.

Overall, great concept and design, but the experience would be much better if crowd control was improved. I’d suggest the management consider limiting entry or better regulating the number of visitors at a time for safety and comfort.

🎈Weekday Trip- 3pm-5pm 2 hour slot
👍Area is Huge
👍Shoes Keeping services
👍Separated into different themes and has a Toddler Theme area
👍Many staffs around to ensure safety
👇For older children above 7 yrs old, I would say it is not engaging enough and there are no Differentiated Difficulty Level. Children get bored running around and walking around in the end.
👇Note: Not many slides available which I feel it is usually a Hot favourite for children and they totally miss that.
🎈These are truly my personal experience as shared by my children. My child told me " Daddy, the videos made by them make it so fun but when I am here its different."We have 3 visits, this is only their 1st visit. I think they would totally not visit after the 3rd time.

This is a very fun place for the kids to run around! Very big and alot of interactive play for kids of all ages. Kids can learn about the habitats of the animals through interactions and play. I am also very impressed that there is a calm room for those over stimulated.

However, the shoes storage is abit troublesome. You would need to take out your shoes at the entrance, carry your own shoes INSIDE and deposit them at the 2nd level. It would also be wonderful if there are tables and chairs for the parents to use. There's food (cool vending machines) but no table to eat from. Definitely a plus to have a cafe here! For small snacks or for parents to take a break.

Overall the staff are friendly and helpful ("lost" my kids in the big space and a few of them helped search). Kudos to the team!

Kaboodle is a fantastic place for kids. The space is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the food is delicious. I visit often with both of my children, and they absolutely love it. The toys are thoughtfully organized and kept in great condition.

I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Thiyagu, one of the staff members. He is always polite, friendly, and incredibly proactive in keeping the place organized. He goes out of his way to ensure families have everything they need, which makes every visit even more enjoyable.

The only downside is the mall’s restroom facilities, which are often smelly and not as clean as they should be for families with young children. However, this is not a reflection of Kaboodle itself, but rather an issue with the mall management.

Honestly did not expect to have so much fun here as adults, but wow was it a blast. We used the space for an event and the owner was super nice to let us also use the equipment, as long as we put it back after. And we had SO MUCH FUN. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that is great for team bonding or third spaces type of events. A pool noodle and a foam block are such underrated ice breakers.

Big thanks!!!

Kaboodle is the perfect kids’ party venue. We had our son’s 3rd birthday party yesterday and it was extremely fuss free. The Kaboodle team was very helpful before, during, and after the party and were integral in ensuring that the party ran smoothly. The venue is spacious and not overstimulating for the kids so they were all calm and happy, and the layout is very conducive for parents to mingle while still keeping an eye out for their kids. The balloon sculpting add-on was also a hit. Thank you very much for a great party!

We celebrated our daughter’s 3rd birthday at Kaboodle, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything was perfectly organised by the Kaboodle team — from the food and drinks to the decorations and play setup. We literally just had to show up and enjoy the celebration.

The soft block play area was a huge hit with the little ones, keeping them happily engaged throughout. The food was excellent and well appreciated by all our guests, with thoughtful options for both kids and adults.

Highly recommend Kaboodle to anyone planning a stress-free, fun-filled birthday party for their child. It’s an ideal venue for kids of any age! 🎉

So I’ve read online that KidStop has been around since 2014; so how have I only found out about this now?! The pricing is insane compared to Kiztopia but I feel the value at KidsStop is much more. Extremely educational & very nice to see the various stat boards in SG contributing to the setup! The ant kingdom one is like just superb even the ballpit is meant to resemble ant eggs! There is even a “confidence element”, e.g. the 7-m drop that’s thrilling. You have low intensity zones like the supermarket mockup by HPB as well. It’s like a Science Centre driven theme park & then some! All the theme installations are very 用心 & on point. Finally, some thing in the West side I’m proud of! The term, 麻雀虽小五脏俱全,is super applicable to this place.

Great place for young kids to learn through play. The exhibits are hands on, engaging, and teach real science concepts without feeling like school. Kids can explore independently and stay occupied for hours.

Safety is well managed. There are staff stationed at each zone actively supervising and stepping in if children start doing anything risky, so parents can relax while kids move freely.

They also run scheduled mini events and performances where kids are invited to participate. These sessions are interactive and keep the energy high, making the whole visit even more engaging.

Best for ages about four to eight. Weekdays are quieter. Overall, a strong mix of fun, learning, and proper supervision.

Thoroughly fun and rather educational. There is a sandpit with "dinosaur bones" for excavating; "construction site" with workers' attire and balls for piling into a wheelbarrow, dumping with a claw machine or sending up a conveyor belt of sorts; a plane cockpit with pilot uniform; a space shuttle to pretend to steer; supermarket and attached kitchen with chefs' outfits; a farm-themed toddler play area where you can "milk" a cow and sort vegetables by shape; an "ant colony" area with spiral slide and ball pit plus large "Lego" blocks; and various other stations with facts about the seasons, aviation, a typhoon simulator, chairs with pulleys, etc. Toddlers were thoroughly absorbed for 3 hours. They also enjoyed the slide outside and admiring the model train chugging along near the ceiling.

Location & Availability

Sessions are available at 21 Jurong Town Hall Road within Science Centre Singapore.

Price Range

Singapore citizens and permanent residents pay S$2 to S$5 per adult and S$5 to S$10 per child, depending on peak periods. Standard admission ranges from S$10 to S$13 per adult and S$20 to S$23 per child. Children below 18 months enter free.

There are too many amazing things for me to say about this place for one post. I loved every moment of our makers experience. I lamented when it was time to send my oldest to primary school, and I have been very eager to send my younger daughter here when she’s ready. The owners and the teachers are what make this place shine. The space is humble in size but every square inch is thoughtfully curated for play. They are gentle while still helping the child understand healthy expectations and boundaries. They prioritize play and good books. They never push learning - they just help it happen in the kids’ own way. Love it! Love them! Cannot wait for my number two to enjoy the makers and their space!

My daughter has attended Plain as Play on and off since early 2023, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Amelia, Aisyah and Cam have always been so very welcoming and helped my daughter feel special and treasured. The workshops are incredible and so well thought out. It’s clear to see their early education backgrounds. Each workshop is so fun and engaging.
I love to see photos of my daughter’s visits and little updates throughout her stay. It really helps me to visualise what she has been doing and talk about her day with her afterwards.
My favourite memory was right after my daughter first started, shortly before she turned two. We walked and she spotted a moth. She explained to me how it was camouflaged and all about its life cycle. She had been completing a bug theme at Plain as Play and loved telling me everything she learned.
If you are undecided, I would suggest giving a trial go. You will be so impressed by the space and the people, and there is no harm getting a quick coffee in for yourself while your child plays!
I will be sending my youngest just as soon as he is old enough.

ADDITION:
I did end up sending my son to Plain As Play when he was old enough, and indeed for as long as I could before we left town. Both my children have begged to come back again and again and have always come out with smiles and happy stories. Truly the best discovery we made in the East Coast. Thank you to you all, you have brightened our time in Singapore.

Our favourite indoor playground in the area: just nice size, small but not cramped - so you can just sit and watch, no need to run after the kid. There are lots of toys which cater well to the little girls: kitchen, real size kid bed, tea table, pink castles etc. My kid can easily spend 4 hours here in a go! It's also very quiet compared to other places - no outside noise, and the kids play quietly peacefully.

Entrance fee includes 1 kid 1 adult: can swap adults, and 1 more adult can sit in the reception area and work.
I find the play-pass very worth it.
Tara the owner is very friendly and passionate about her work.

They have some Spanish singing classes on Monday, and offer attractive services for private events.

Wonderful experience! The interactive activities were engaging, fun, and highly educational for children. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed every moment and was excited to explore and learn through play.

In fact, the allocated 1 hour and 45 minutes felt far too short, as she was having such a great time and wasn’t ready to leave when the session ended. The exhibits and activities were thoughtfully designed to keep children entertained while encouraging curiosity and learning.

A fantastic place for families, and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended for parents looking for a meaningful and enjoyable experience for their children!

Great fun for kids, allows to learn about Singapore's history, culture and food - my son loved the cooking stations! Need to check the timings as they have breaks during the day and booking is recommended, though possible to try for walk in if coming at the beginning of the slot.
It was truly a wonderful and enriching experience for both the residents and children who visited the museum this morning. The session was well-organised, and everything ran smoothly from start to end—kudos to Kase and Lionel for the excellent coordination and effort in bringing this together with Parc Central Residences resident network team.

Although we arrived early, Lynn and staff warmly welcomed us and was extremely helpful and patient in walking us through the museum’s background, as well as the dos and don’ts. Her clear explanations made everyone feel comfortable and well-prepared before the children explore.

The museum itself is thoughtfully designed and well-furnished, with a wide variety of interactive and engaging exhibits that kept the children excited and immersed throughout. It was heartening to see the children actively exploring, learning, and enjoying themselves.

Overall, it was a meaningful and enjoyable outing for all—thank you to the Children’s Museum team for the wonderful support and experience.

Decent play space for infants and toddlers. Quiet as there were no other kids when we came at almost 4pm on Sunday. Fee $14 / hour. Quick and convenient so I like it. Enough toys and space to keep my kid entertained and play by herself.

Went for the popular classical music class and I must say the course is just right for bubs to enjoy. My son was totally engaged throughout the entire session and even had his hands on the different instruments available. Even during the free play session, there was ample toys/books around the play space to keep him entertained. Will definitely be back for more!

My 9mo baby had a great time at littleplaysocial today! The toys are safe for teething babies who put everything in the mouths. The space is very baby friendly (clean, with diaper changing area, sterilizer for toys) as well. Love the story books, toys and structures where baby can hang out! Will definitely bring her there again (:

Cozy play space that is well thought out for toddlers and even infants. I especially love the sensory play items and musical instruments that are suitable for babies. It’s definitely a unique and safe space for children to have fun as the toys available and activity corners are thoughtfully planned out. Looking forward to curated programmes for the kids the next time we visit!

We have been sending our child to Go Bananas! since 2020 and she truly enjoys her weekly art sessions. The environment is cosy and the teachers are all very nurturing. It's been rewarding to see her developing her own artistic style under the guidance of her teachers over the years. A big thank you to the teachers too for encouraging her to participate in the recent Hungarian Month Drawing Competition where she won first place! It was such a fantastic experience for her. Highly recommend Go Bananas! for art classes as well as holiday art camps.

We signed our daughter up for art classes as she is showing interest in painting and drawing back at home and in school! Because of her age (she’s only 2), we were initially worried about how she would take to a drop-off class. She now looks forward to going to art classes every week, and she is slowly adapting to drop off bit by bit! Just this week, she has stopped crying completely and went in and said bye to me! This is all thanks to the teachers at Go Bananas! that patiently coax and make her feel comfortable at class! They are very understanding and patient too. Because the first 2 lessons she took awhile to settle in, they asked if we could come by 30 minutes earlier before lesson starts so she could take her time to settle down. It is difficult to find such a caring and understanding teaching team now! So glad we have found them 🙂

How to Choose the Best Sensory Play Class for Your Child

  • Age suitability: Check that activities, materials and session lengths match your child’s present developmental stage and physical abilities.
  • Sensory comfort: Consider whether the programme lets hesitant children observe before approaching unfamiliar textures without pressure.
  • Educator experience: Ask about facilitators’ early-childhood training and experience supporting babies, toddlers or children with differing sensory responses.
  • Material safety: Confirm whether loose materials are non-toxic, age-appropriate and safely managed when children explore through their mouths.
  • Adult supervision: Understand caregiver requirements, staff coverage and how facilitators monitor climbing, messy materials and shared play equipment.
  • Class numbers: Smaller groups can give facilitators more opportunity to notice individual reactions during unfamiliar activities.
  • Session structure: Decide whether your child prefers open-ended exploration, guided stations or a balanced combination of both formats.
  • Activity balance: Look for experiences involving several senses without more stimulation than your child can comfortably process.
  • Learning approach: Choose a philosophy that respects children’s choices while providing enough guidance for safe, meaningful exploration.
  • Physical environment: Review cleanliness, ventilation, changing facilities, quiet areas and separation between younger and more active children.
  • Accessibility support: Ask about sensory guides, calm spaces, visual schedules or quieter sessions if your family requires these provisions.
  • Parent participation: Check whether sessions are accompanied, drop-off or flexible enough to support a gradual move towards independence.
  • Development feedback: Consider whether educators share observations, milestones or practical ideas families can continue safely at home.
  • Schedule flexibility: Compare available timings, booking requirements, package validity and policies for missed or rescheduled sessions.
  • Complete costs: Review admission, adult tickets, materials, socks, registration and event charges before comparing overall value.

It has truly been a blessing to find Mr. Tan Tiam Teng as my son’s Chinese tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated—qualities that have made a huge difference in my son’s learning journey. My Primary 4 son has shown remarkable improvement in his Chinese since starting lessons, and we are so grateful for the progress.

Beyond the academic results, Mr. Tan’s teaching style has built my son’s confidence and interest in the subject. He is punctual, pleasant disposition and understands what a child needs. The entire experience with Mind Flex has also been very pleasant, professional, and supportive.

Friendly, pleasant, swift, helpful and most importantly not pushy
