Introduction

A soap making workshop for kids gives children a practical way to explore colours, scents, shapes and simple scientific processes while creating something useful. The right class should suit your child’s age, confidence and experience, especially where ingredients or techniques require closer supervision. Singapore families can choose from dedicated studios, mobile event providers, small-group classes and social-impact workshops. Some options focus on decorative melt-and-pour soap, while others offer structured progression into formulation and traditional methods. This guide compares 10 soap making workshops for kids in Singapore, with business overviews, Google reviews, locations, prices and contact details to help parents find a suitable fit.

Recently repurchased the Radiance & Clarifying Cleansing Oil and the Pink Pearl Yurong Soap Bar. I’ve been using these two products for a year. This is really the best way to cleanse my skin!

The cleansing oil feels so luxurious and smells amazing. It effectively removes even waterproof mascara but doesn’t feel stripping or drying. I know it feels counterintuitive to use oil on your face, but it doesn’t make your skin oily at all! And is so easy to wash off. Highly recommend to check out the cleansing oils. They have a few different types to suit different skin types.

If you can, get Diana to recommend! She is so helpful and sincere. She patiently explained the different products to me but also didn’t try to upsell me or pressure me to buy anything. She also didn’t make me feel bad about my skin. This is so rare because some places will just shame you into buying more products 😬 But not Diana! She made me feel that she just wants to educate and help me. Check this place out!

Brought my kids for soap-making and we had an absolutely fantastic time!

Diana was incredibly patient and friendly with the children, guiding them step-by-step and making the entire process fun and easy to follow. What made the session truly special was hearing her share her inspiring testimonies and business journey so warmly. Her heart and passion for what she does really shine through!

We left with beautiful handmade soaps and great memories and we're thankful to have had the chance to pour into a kingdom business. May God bless Soap Ministry richly! Highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a meaningful and creative activity!

Chance upon this homely place where we can learn about soap making in a cosy environement. Class size was kept small for optimal learning. Takeaway was: "Making soap is easy; creating a custom soap of your preference can be quite a trial & error journey." Time well spent, thanks for the sharing!

We tried their cup corn, popcorn, slushies and even rented their movie screen. Chun Ting has been very detailed and responsive to work with. Always gets the job done in a short span of time. Funfair is a reliable supplier for your table and chair needs. They are flexible in set up time, letting me setup 1 day earlier at 2pm. This was really helpful as it might be quite rush to setup on the same day itself. I told them we needed to clear the tables within 1 hour after the event, and they managed to achieve it. I highly recommend Funfair to those hosting their event.

We had a great experience with the team. Max arrived early to set up the activity booths for our event, ensuring everything was ready on time. The staff handling the live food stations were also excellent—Jeffery Ang at the popcorn station and the staff managing the hotdog bun station (unfortunately, I didn't catch his name). Both were efficient, friendly, and served the food quickly, helping the queues move smoothly.
"Madam Santhi's exceptional warmth and approachability have made a lasting impression! I've had the pleasure of meeting her twice at Changi Events, and her cheerful demeanor is truly uplifting. Kudos to the Party Mojo team for having such an amazing team member - she's a definite asset!" 💕

Thoroughly enjoyed learning to crochet with Eileen. She's not only a skilled expert in her craft, but also incredibly friendly and patient with beginners. We had great conversations and in the two hours we had, she helped me master the foundational techniques while sharing valuable tips along the way. What also impressed me was the thoughtful post-workshop materials she prepared to support continued self-learning. This was genuinely one of the best workshop experiences I've had—I can't recommend it highly enough!

I attended a beginner crochet class and it was such an enlightening experience! Learning in person was totally different from following tutorials online. I finally understood what each stitch really means, the height differences between single, double and treble crochet, and even mastered the magic circle!

Eileen explained everything so clearly, especially the stitch abbreviations and how to read charts — it all makes so much more sense now. The cozy environment, warm atmosphere, and lots of laughter made learning even more enjoyable.

It was truly fun and enriching — highly recommended for anyone starting their crochet journey! 🧶✨

I initially signed up for the CP soap beginner class simply seeking some knowledge about soap making. Little did I know that this experience would ignite a passion for crafting natural soaps and lead me all the way to the advanced and design classes! 🤣

What truly set this class apart was the hands-on approach. We got to mix the ingredients, choose our own scents and spice blends, and design the soap’s appearance.

The instructors Yean and Jin are very patient, the environment was warm and equipped with almost everything we need for soap making. I must say this place had me totally hooked! 😁🥰

How to Choose the Best Soap Making Class for Your Child

  • Age suitability: Check the stated minimum age and whether younger children need an actively supervising adult.
  • Soap method: Melt-and-pour activities generally suit beginners, while formulation and lye-based methods need greater maturity and technical understanding.
  • Safety procedures: Ask how instructors manage heated materials, sharp tools, fragrances and ingredients requiring careful handling.
  • Trainer experience: Consider whether facilitators explain practical steps clearly to children in your child’s age group.
  • Class size: Smaller groups can provide more individual guidance during measuring, mould selection and detailed decorative work.
  • Supervision level: Confirm how many facilitators attend and whether children receive direct help during technical stages.
  • Ingredient details: Review the supplied bases, colourants, scents and additives, especially for allergies or sensitive skin.
  • Learning depth: Decide between simple decorative crafting and a structured introduction to ingredients, formulation and curing.
  • Creative freedom: Look for choices of colours, shapes, patterns and scents without making the activity overly complicated.
  • Workshop duration: Choose a session length that suits your child’s attention span and allows comfortable completion.
  • Take-home items: Confirm how many soaps participants make and whether they can bring products home immediately.
  • Studio environment: Consider cleanliness, ventilation, organised equipment and sufficient workspace for children to create safely.
  • Progression options: Older enthusiasts may value routes from melt-and-pour projects into formulation or cold-process techniques.
  • Booking flexibility: Compare schedules, appointment requirements, rescheduling terms and transport options by MRT, bus or car.
  • Total costs: Check whether fees include materials, equipment, packaging, certificates, delivery and any adult participation charges.

It has truly been a blessing to find Mr. Tan Tiam Teng as my son’s Chinese tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated—qualities that have made a huge difference in my son’s learning journey. My Primary 4 son has shown remarkable improvement in his Chinese since starting lessons, and we are so grateful for the progress.

Beyond the academic results, Mr. Tan’s teaching style has built my son’s confidence and interest in the subject. He is punctual, pleasant disposition and understands what a child needs. The entire experience with Mind Flex has also been very pleasant, professional, and supportive.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tutor who genuinely cares and delivers excellent results

Friendly, pleasant, swift, helpful and most importantly not pushy
