The community is warm and welcoming, and the instructors are dedicated to fostering creativity. Overall, I highly recommend Strokearts to anyone looking for a supportive and inspiring environment to explore their artistic side.
Strokearts is a fabulous place to learn any art you desire to learn. I'm an adult currently learning Madhubani art and Lippon art from Shivali, and it has been a wonderful experience. Shivali is an excellent teacher - patient, knowledgeable and truly passionate about the art forms. I really appreciate how also she shares the background and history behind each art, which makes the learning even more meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone interested in any art form .
My 13yo child had a fantastic experience with the holiday art program! The 8-hr acrylic painting session on an A1 canvas was incredibly fun and inspiring. It was wonderful to see my child fully engaged, exploring colours, textures and techniques with confidence. The instructor was patient and encouraging, creating a supportive space for creativity to flourish. Our child came home proud of her artwork and excited to paint more - highly recommend this program for budding young artists!
I thoroughly enjoyed doing my koi fish madhubani painting under Shivali’s guidance. From the time we discussed what to draw and how to draw, Shivali was really open to my ideas and that’s motivated me to get this right to perfection. She lets the student share what they want before telling them what to do. I enjoyed every bit of color in my painting and was so satisfied to bring it to life. The little details to the color combinations, the chit chats we had, it was a fulfilling experience. Many more to go!!!
Shivali Mathur is a wonderful artist and art educator. Her knowledge of her subject is wide and deep. I have been to many of her art workshops and she has never failed to make it memorable for me. Would recommend her workshops and regular art courses to anyone who wants to enhance their skills.
Strokearts is spreading love for Arts for young and old alike. They are strong in Indian traditional art form and abstract too. Shivali and team inspire students and ignite love and passion fuelling the creativity and cognitive skills of learners. Wish that they continue spreading the love and joy for Art!

I engaged Art Loft for my Bridesmaids' Party and it was so well-received! All 5 of us had such a good time and it was evident a lot of planning and effort went into this! The facilitators, Joy and Kim, were knowledgeable in their own areas of work. Joy was so patient in her teaching and Kim was lovely to work with as she helped with the set up and refreshments. They also allowed me to hang up a simple tassel backdrop using S hooks and lent me their speaker to play my music. At the end of the watercolour workshop, our artwork was nicely framed up and everyone was able to bring home their artwork on the same day (no additional waiting time). Super happy with how the workshop turned out and would definitely recommend Art Loft for others to also host their parties here!
My kids have been with Art Loft for years because of how it inspires them to pursue creative work at home too - so it’s not just doing art once a wk during lessons. The learning environment there is wonderful and teachers connect well with the students, creating a gd learning community. Highly recommend.

It was a fun experience. The interns & staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Although the workshop is 2 hours, I ended up taking 4 hours to complete and they did not rush me nor mention about the time at all. Without the help of the staffs, I would not have completed this amazing art. Definitely recommend people to come try.
Had a great introductory session using watercolour, our instructor Ashley was very patient and concise in her explanation. She coached us and gave us valuable demos without spoon-feeding us. ☻
Good quality art supplies were provided (even an ipad for image reference) in this nice beautiful art space.
It was a relaxing session for us and great that we could use our culture pass credits. Interested to try the tingkat painting & art jamming next round.
Tried palette knife painting for the first time, together with my husband. It was a very fun experience. Thank you to Sage Artelier at Sin Ming for having us, giving us so much space, time and patience while we explore ourselves with self expression and creativity. The teachers were very friendly and helpful, giving you just enough tips and confidence to wing it and go with whatever feels right.
Chanced upon this clay art session with Sage Artelier through Seek Sophie's website. My daughter wanted to do pottery art and hence I searched through google for such workshops that are suitable for kids. Though this clay workshop does not involve a wheel spinner, I think my daugher still enjoyed the craft session. Art space was lovely and cosy. Facilitator Ashley was so patient with my daughter. She guided and assisted her very well throughout. Appreciate the attention dedicated to young kids like my daughter. The art space was lively with children celebrating birthday through art jamming and other students doing their individual art pieces. All the best and keep up the amazing service and dedication!
Had a leisurely 2 hour glass painting session at Sage Artelier. The staff, Ashley, was very helpful, cheery and patient.
They helped with some of the more complicated techniques and touched up the artwork at the end - although I’m sure that’s subject to the crowdedness.
The atmosphere was great with the soft background music as well. Would recommend!

This was absolutely amazing. The beef don was perfectly cooked, staff was extremely nice, and the atmosphere was extraordinary. The food is also affordable. A must try is the strawberry matcha latte which is greatly balanced. If you like matcha and strawberry it is a great option for you! Also I tried the truffle tender and I have to say the beef is a PERFECT medium rare. It's creamy and extremely delicious. What I also had was the sea salt cookies which was affordable and balanced! Not too sweet. Overall the theming is spot on and the service was wonderful.
We recently held a gathering at this wonderful cafe and community art space, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The venue itself is spacious, beautifully appointed, and has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rachel and her small team were incredibly kind and accommodating, generously allowing us to use the space after the cafe’s operating hours, which made our event so special.
The food was delicious, and even our vegetarian friends were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety on offer. I also absolutely loved the decor and the charming mini art gallery displayed on the walls—it gave the space so much character and creativity.
All in all, this is a fantastic spot for gatherings, celebrations, or simply spending time with friends in a unique and inspiring environment. A huge thank you to Rachel and her team for their hospitality and warmth. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this gem to all our friends!
Just happened to stumbled upon COZE+, an art jamming café while we were strolling around in Jalan Besar area. We were instantly drawn into the café by its clean minimalistic facade and huge glass window. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The seating layout is spacious, with a variety of different seating options, from window counter seats, small modular cafe tables to large communal tables if you are dining with a group.
The café serves as a hub for local artists to meet and bond. There is a small art studio for visitors to unleash their creativity as well. On the walls, you will find a number of local artists’ works displayed for sale. There is also a retail corner selling the works of local artists.
The menu offers a delightful variety of hearty fusion brunch mains. As we visited right after we had our lunch, we were too full to try out the food on their brunch menu. We just ordered a Superfruit mixed berry juice each and a Lava cake to share. Both the drinks and desserts were beautifully presented. The way to enjoy the superfruit juice is to pour it over the orange ice cube that came with it. The orange ice cube will melt slowly to enhance the taste of the juice without watering it down. The Lava cake was deliciously rich and doesn’t taste too sweet.
Prices were reasonable and the owners were also very welcoming and attentive. We really enjoyed chilling at the café.
The cafe is very cozy and friendly for small gatherings with friends. I ordered their seasonal drink, Ophelia which is so refreshing for a matcha and coffee drinker like me. I love the rosti which is always my favourite food wherever I go. My friend ordered their seasonal drink beef Don and the presentation made me wanting to come back and try again. I will come again to try the other dishes.
We recently celebrated our toddler's birthday at this lovely, cozy cafe, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place that combines a warm atmosphere with top-tier hospitality, this is it. The food was fantastic—every single person in our group enjoyed their meal, which is no small feat for a birthday gathering! Beyond the menu, what really blew us away was the service. We brought our own decorations, and the owner went above and beyond by helping us put everything up. It’s rare to find a place that treats you like family and genuinely cares about making your milestone feel special. Huge thanks to the team for making my daughter’s birthday so memorable. We’ll definitely be back for more coffee and great vibes!

We highly recommend “Art on Everyday Objects” workshop. Amelia demonstrated deep knowledge of the craft by explaining the process step-by-step. What stood out the most was her ability to tailor the instructions to each individual, ensuring we could learn at our own pace and understand the material.
Had a fun session at this creative space with my friends! We were well engaged and guided by Amelia at our mason jar painting workshop. Thoroughly enjoyed picking up a new craft skill in a hands-on manner. The studio is delightful and its fun decor is inspiring!
Had such a lovely time with my mum creating these “memory jars” with images of my nephew. Amelia did a wonderful and detailed job of preparing and guiding us through out the process - from the selection of the right photos to create the image, to prepping and designing the jars. Her cosy and creative home studio had a really relaxing vibe! It was my mum’s first craft experience and she really enjoyed it! Will definitely recommend family and friends to try this too. These jars are perfect for keepsake and gifting! Thank you again Amelia!
First time painting on glass and it was so much fun! Amelia gave clear instructions and guided us through the process. Everyone had a wonderful time and were so happy with our creation. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful creative home studio. Highly recommend this workshop if you want to spend a fun day bonding with family and friends. Thank you, Amelia!
Amelia was warm and hospitable. A multi-talented lady. The price is reasonable as she uses materials that are of good quality. Arts is not something I would choose to do but her jar craft is simple and easy to follow. A good option for companies thinking of team activity.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Clayful Pottery for my daughter's 10th birthday! A big thank you to Manager Dustin and his team for their excellent service. Everyone was warm, friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the event. They made sure everything went smoothly, allowing both the children and parents to enjoy the celebration. We definitely made the right choice in celebrating her birthday here. The pottery activity was not only fun but also meaningful, as every child got to create and bring home their own masterpiece. I highly recommend Clayful Pottery to any parents looking for a unique and memorable venue for their child's birthday party. It was truly a fantastic experience for everyone!
quite a fun experience picking your own pottery pieces and then painting on it. We paid around $60/pax for studio fee, drinks and also the pottery pieces. Overall i would recommend this place as it has a relaxing and nice ambience for couples/ friends to just come here and paint the pottery pieces
Lovely ambience, good variety of pottery to choose from, various F&B, no time limit to complete your art piece. Friendly staff who patiently explains the process. Our second time here and will be back 🙂
Absolutely love their tiger prawn pizza! So flavourful and delicious!
Will definitely revisit to try their other dishes on the menu!
For their spicy kurobuta pork pappardelle- the gravy was too rich/overwhelming until we find it very 'jelat' towards the end. Probably it wound be better if the gravy could be reduced.
