Keeping pace with IP Chemistry can be difficult when lessons move quickly, concepts build on one another, and school assessments demand more than memorised definitions. This guide to the Top 10 IP Chemistry Tuition Centres in Singapore helps parents compare programmes offering conceptual instruction, application practice, structured answering support and preparation for unfamiliar questions. Because IP schools may arrange topics and assessments differently, a suitable tutor should understand your child’s particular curriculum sequence rather than impose a standard O Level timetable. Class size, practical work, consultation access, travelling time and lesson recordings may also affect whether support remains manageable beside CCA and school commitments. The options below include specialist Chemistry centres, small-group programmes, online classes and personalised home tuition for different learning preferences and budgets.
Key Takeaways
IP Chemistry tuition should match the student’s school sequence, conceptual depth and assessment demands, rather than automatically following conventional O Level pacing.
Compare class size, application practice, practical support and consultation access, especially when weak foundations make unfamiliar Chemistry questions feel disproportionately difficult.
Convenience matters alongside teaching quality, as online access, lesson recordings and suitable locations may keep tuition sustainable during demanding school and CCA weeks.
MindFlex – Your Best Platform for IP Chemistry Home Tuition
Overview of Business
MindFlex Tuition Agency connects Singapore families with private tutors for personalised IP Chemistry tuition at home or online. Instead of following one fixed classroom curriculum, tutors can be matched according to the student’s IP school, current topics, learning gaps, schedule and preferred teaching style. This flexibility may help when a child needs slower explanations of chemical concepts or a teen requires focused practice with application-heavy assessment questions. The agency has access to more than 50,000 active tutors, giving parents scope to compare qualifications, experience and hourly rates. Its matching service carries no agency fee, and families can review recommended profiles before deciding. Lessons may then address schoolwork, conceptual understanding, scientific terminology, structured answers and revision priorities at an individual pace.
Why Parents Choose MindFlex?
Parents may choose MindFlex when standard group IP tuition does not align closely enough with their child’s school sequence or pace. One-to-one lessons allow a tutor to revisit specific Chemistry misconceptions, examine repeated errors and spend longer on unfamiliar applications rather than covering every topic uniformly. Tutor matching can consider budget, location, availability and preferred credentials, including former or current MOE teachers. Coordinators are available seven days a week, which may ease the search for families seeking timely support after weak assessment results.

Mr Khemistry is a specialist Chemistry tuition centre with separate programmes for IP Year 3 and IP Year 4 students. Its IP approach follows a Concept, Application and Exam Simulation sequence, moving teens from clear understanding towards timed performance and examiner-style feedback. Lessons use visual aids, curated worksheets, targeted exercises, mock papers and a student portal, while onsite and online options support different schedules. Founder Teacher Eric has more than twenty years of teaching experience, a Pure Chemistry degree from NUS and former MOE Junior College experience. He has also authored three Chemistry assessment books, while Teacher Eugene is an ex-MOE teacher and former curriculum leader. Recorded lessons and WhatsApp consultations extend support beyond class, which may matter when school topics progress before earlier misunderstandings have been resolved.
Why Parents Choose Mr Khemistry?
Parents may choose Mr Khemistry for a teen who needs Chemistry explained visually and then tested under increasingly realistic conditions. The staged model may prevent students from attempting timed papers before they have secured the reasoning behind reactions, calculations and observations. Small classes allow questions and tailored guidance, while recorded lessons can help after absences or during revision. The specialist tutors’ substantial Chemistry experience may also appeal to families seeking detailed correction rather than broad, all-subject academic supervision.

Recorded lessons, portal access and WhatsApp consultation can also support revision when school pacing makes it difficult to revisit every weak topic during class.
Before joining AD, I was struggling a lot in chemistry lessons, trying to understand the concepts and keeping up with my classmates. I felt lost and helpless when I received my prelim grade back, which, to say the least, wasn’t very ideal. After weeks of searching for a tuition centre, I found AD through recommendations from friends, which made me decide to join. While joining AD, I attended their weekly lab lessons as well as their regular lessons. With their detailed materials and experienced teachers, I was making progress in my ability to understand and grasp the concepts. With patient and dedicated teachers who will go beyond lesson hours to have consultations with students, I saw significant improvements and jumps in my A-level results. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers and the staff at AD for their amazing guidance throughout this short yet stressful journey. Without them, I would still be lost and lose the passion I have for chemistry. AD made me realise that learning and understanding chemistry isn't as daunting as it seems!
AD Chemistry Tuition has been one of the best learning experiences I’ve had. I’m truly grateful to the centre for creating such a positive and motivating environment where learning and fun go hand in hand. The teachers are not only knowledgeable and dedicated, but also genuinely caring. They make sure every student feels supported and encouraged to improve. Over time, AD became more than just a tuition centre to me — it felt like a family. I made great friends with other students and built strong bonds with the teachers as well. Thank you, AD, for shaping both my chemistry skills and my confidence. I’ll always appreciate the memories and growth I gained here.
My daughter was constantly scoring C5s and C6s for Chemistry in S4. After careful consideration, I chose AD Chemistry and I am glad I made the right choice. All the staff are friendly, professional and helpful. My daughter enjoyed the 3 months tuition and made huge improvement. She achieved A1 in O level result! I am grateful and would highly recommend Achievers Dream for your Chemistry tuition!
In the beginning of Sec 4, I was constantly scoring C5s and C6s for my Chemistry WA's. This made me panic as it was a sharp decrease from the A1's I was getting in Sec 3. I stumbled upon Achievers Dream after finding out that they have practical sessions at their tuition centre (which is very rare in Singapore). As my school lacked practical sessions, I thought this tuition centre will be the perfect fit for me. The teachers in AD were very helpful, going at a manageable pace so that everyone can follow along well. I also liked that they constantly asked questions to help me recall some of the fundamentals that I may have forgotten about. The worksheets given allowed me to have a lot of extra practice before my O Levels. Booklets were seperated into topics, allowing me to realised which Chemistry Topics I was weaker in. The summarised notes given were also really helpful as it allowed me to know what are the key concepts to study for each Chapter. The lab sessions were also very useful, allowing me to try out experiments that may come out for O Levels that I've never practiced in school before. The teachers in Lab sessions were also taking time to check in on students who were struggling. All AD teachers also taught some answering techniques that are essential for O Levels that were really useful as well.
I had joined Achievers Dream in July 2025, just 3 months before my O Levels, attending both the normal lessons and INEPP lessons. Despite joining later than some of my peers, I managed to score A1 for Pure Chemistry for O Levels, jumping from my C grades in the beginning of Sec 4.
Overall, I am grateful for the experience I had in AD, and would highly recommend Achievers Dream for your Chemistry tuition!
Before joining achievers dream, i didn’t understand chem at all and was going to give up on the subject. Around the start of 2025, my friend introduced me to Achievers Dream and told me her results improved a lot after joining. That’s when i decided to give it a try and with their teaching and support, i managed to improve from a E8 in s3 eoy to an A2 in my O levels!! The materials and teaching method achievers dream provide makes it really simple to understand chemistry! The teachers in AD are also really passionate and understanding, and i’ve never hesitated to clear my doubts. AD also offers practical sessions, where all materials in the lab are provided. This has helped me gain more confidence during my practical exams and taught me how to skillfully carry out experiments to obtain accurate and precise results. Overall, I think AD is the best chemistry tuition in sg and I would 100% recommend!!!!
Before joining Achievers Dream, I was struggling and failing Chemistry. After enrolling into their tuition, my understanding improved significantly, and I eventually achieved an A2 for N levels. The teachers there are very friendly, patient, and approachable. Whenever I didn’t understand something, they would explain it in different ways until I understood it clearly. This made me feel comfortable asking questions without fear. Moreover, i liked that the lessons were interactive so it made memorising concepts way easier. The atmosphere in classrooms were also really pleasant so i enjoyed going to lessons. To some, going for tuitions may feel like a chore but here, it felt the complete opposite! In addition, the chapter notes provided were also really clear and extremely useful. I am super grateful for the support and guidance from the teachers in Achievers Dream! Without them, i don't think i would enjoy learning chemistry as much as i am now. Therefore i strongly recommend Achievers Dream as your chemistry tuition!
Initially at the start of secondary 3, I disliked chemistry a lot. I couldn’t understand the concepts and found it very hard to memorise the content, so I decided to sign up for Achievers Dream.
After taking their lessons for over a year, not only did my grades improve, but I also became far more interested in chemistry. The teachers at AD don’t rush lessons, ensuring that they are paced in a way that all the students can grasp the concepts being taught. Lessons are hardly boring as teachers often make use of games such as Kahoot to check our knowledge. There are also extensive resources provided such as assessment booklets and cheat sheets that helped facilitate my learning and revision. Thanks to the amazing teachers, engaging lessons and friendly environment, I now find myself enjoying chemistry a lot!
Thank you to AD for making chemistry more than just a “boring school subject”‼️‼️
When I first joined AD chem, I was very unconfident in scoring well for the subject. School papers were difficult to understand, lab worksheets didn’t make sense to me, and I was close to failing chem for my weighted assessments, which made me extremely worried about my EOYs, prelims and finally O levels. Joining AD chem gave me so many opportunities to practice answering techniques and learning from mistakes in class, as well as practising lab skills every month. This consistent drill increased my confidence in structuring open ended questions and making sure I earn full points. I became faster than my peers when completing lab experiments, and I became more knowledgable about what exactly the questions are asking for, furthermore allowing me to help my peers with this subject as well. And in the end, I scored A1 for O levels.
I feel like AD teachers are wonderfully kind and patient, especially when you are struggling with a certain topic. I once messaged my teacher outside of class about something I was confused about, and she sent me a long, comprehensive message for me to understand clearly, and also reexplained it in class with the other students too. I think this solidifies how much they care for us, their students, and would go a long way to ensure we achieve the grade we want.
Of course, nothing would magically make your grades better if you don’t put any effort into practising chemistry. Simply listening attentively in class and doing what the teacher advises you to do with their carefully structured lesson modules can make sure you score well in this subject.
Thank you AD teachers! And to O level takers, all the best!

Overmugged provides group tuition with an explicit IP Chemistry programme for upper IP years, alongside other IP Science and Math subjects. Its learning sequence begins with understanding, moves into in-class application, and then uses assessment questions and answering techniques to develop performance. Tutors provide consultations and clarification after lessons, while syllabus-aligned notes and WhatsApp support help students continue resolving doubts between classes. IP classes contain approximately four to twelve students, which may offer discussion and individual monitoring without the scale of a large lecture. Lessons can be attended in person or through Zoom, supporting students whose school and CCA schedules make travelling difficult. Overmugged reports helping more than 10,000 students over three years and presents a direct testimonial describing Pure Chemistry improvement from C6 to A2.
Why Parents Choose Overmugged?
Parents may consider Overmugged if their teen benefits from learning concepts first and applying them immediately with tutor guidance. The four-to-twelve-student format may suit those who want peer interaction but still need opportunities to ask questions and receive progress monitoring. Consultations can address unresolved misconceptions rather than allowing confusion to accumulate across connected Chemistry topics. In-person and Zoom choices may also make regular attendance easier during demanding school weeks, although families should confirm how each class aligns with their school’s IP sequence.
Mr Zhi Hao is one of the best teachers I’ve ever met. He’s willing to customise his classes to his students’ learning styles and is not afraid to go out of syllabus to sate his students’ curiosity. He takes the time to answer all questions and dives into the “why” instead of pushing for rote memorisation as most teachers do. Plus, his classes are genuinely fun and he fosters a nice and cozy learning environment where he genuinely connects with and cares for his students. Highly recommend his Chem classes!
Mr Zhi Hao is a very good teacher! His explanations are always very clear and concise, allowing me to understand complex topics easily. He also makes lessons interesting by bringing in applications in real life and is willing to clarify any questions we have. I feel so fulfilled everytime I come for lesson because I can finally understand and enjoy Chemistry! love Overmugged!!
Tutor explained the science concepts very clearly making it very easy for me to understand. Tutor is engaging during class which helps to make lessons interesting. Revisions before EOY exam helped me to be prepared and confident to do well for Science.
As a parent, I’m deeply grateful for the help and guidance from Mr. Phua to my child who is doing IP3/4 Biology. He was able to understand her personality and learning challenges even before the first tuition session began. Despite the limited class availability, the opportunity he provided became a valuable stepping stone toward better grades.
My child always looks forward to her lessons here — it feels like a happy cave for her. To see her go from “Did I choose the wrong science subject?” to “Maybe one day I’ll become a biology teacher!” truly shows the positive impact Mr. Phua has had on his students.
Once again, thank you OM and Mr. Phua. I’m genuinely impressed and deeply appreciative.
I attended the Sec 3 EOY Intensive Revision for E and A math conducted by Mr Jason Yek. His lessons were engaging and he showed dedication in his teaching throughout the session. I learnt a lot from him and I’m very grateful for his time and effort. Highly recommended if anyone’s looking for an E or A math tutor.

The Physics Cafe, part of PMC.SG Education Group, provides IP Chemistry tuition for IP Year 3-4 students alongside other STEM programmes. Its Chemistry classes average eight to ten students and combine knowledge scaffolding, storytelling, verbal questioning, group learning and individualised guidance. Materials address conceptual foundations, misconceptions, challenging questions and precise assessment techniques, while mock examinations create opportunities to practise under time constraints. IP Chemistry is led by Mr Jacob, described as an MOE scholar with more than ten years of Chemistry education experience. The organisation reports a 93% distinction rate in the 2025 IP Year 4 Chemistry End-of-Year examinations, which parents may consider alongside their teen’s starting point and learning habits. Weekly classes are available onsite and online, with consultations, webcasts and digital academic support extending access beyond lessons.
Why Parents Choose The Physics Cafe?
Parents may shortlist The Physics Cafe when their teen needs a balance between structured concept building and challenging assessment practice. Verbal questioning can reveal whether a student truly understands chemical reasoning, rather than recognising familiar wording on a worksheet. Mock examinations and immediate feedback may strengthen time management and answer precision before school assessments. The average class size remains moderate, while digital resources and consultations may support students who need repeated exposure to difficult mechanisms, calculations or misconceptions outside class.
The learning environment here is outstanding because the teachers are genuinely fun and passionate. They incorporate games, jokes, and interactive activities into lessons, making every class dynamic and enjoyable. This creates a very chill atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing ideas without fear of judgment. The teachers are approachable and supportive, which enhances the relaxed vibe. Additionally, the work isn't overwhelming; assignments are designed to reinforce concepts without excessive busywork. This balance allows students to grasp material deeply while still having time for hobbies and relaxation. As a result, school feels less like a chore and more like an engaging, enjoyable experience. Everyone thrives in such a positive and supportive setting, fostering both academic and personal growth. It's the perfect place to learn and have fun simultaneously.
The class is very engaging, the class revises concepts before going through questions, it helps us built a strong fundamental. My teacher (Ms Angeline) is really nice and friendly, she has really clear explainations. After joining PMC, I understood concepts much better, I struggled less for physics and my grades improved significantly.
Ms Angeline is very caring and nice teacher. Before joining her class I didn’t do well in my physics and struggled to grasp certain concepts. She ensure that we understand the concepts well and teaches us each topic in depth. I understand topics better and have seen much improvement in my grades after joining her lessons. I definitely recommend joining Ms Angeline’s classes to whoever is taking physics.
it’s a great place to learn physics! my physics teacher, Ms Angeline Chong, teaches well and with passion. She uses methods like SOP to help remind us of the important things to take note when doing questions. Moreover, the notes given here are succinct yet detailed, and I am exposed to a variety of questions which prepares me well for my exams. Overall, it’s a great experience here at PMC, you get to learn a lot and it really boosts your confidence for physics ☺️

Future Academy is a small-group tuition centre founded in 2015 by former top-school educators Ms Yvonne Chen and Mr Jason Lau. Its IP programme includes Chemistry for IP Year 3-4, taught with school-specific pacing where possible because individual IP curricula may sequence topics differently. Classes use a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of one to six, allowing tutors to provide immediate feedback and inspect each teen’s reasoning closely. IP Science teaching incorporates inquiry-based questions, experimental design, data analysis, practical write-ups and structured materials. Onsite, hybrid and live online ClassIn formats are available, with interactive whiteboards and real-time collaboration supporting remote participation. The founders bring former Raffles Girls’ School and Hwa Chong Institution teaching experience, while progress tracking and between-lesson WhatsApp or email support extend guidance beyond scheduled classes.
Why Parents Choose Future Academy?
Parents may consider Future Academy when their teen needs closer guidance than a large class can realistically provide. The one-to-six limit may make it easier to identify faulty reasoning, hesitant participation and incomplete practical explanations before assessments. School-specific pacing where possible is particularly relevant for IP Chemistry, since schools may introduce topics in different sequences and at different depths. Hybrid flexibility may also reduce disruption when CCA, illness or travel makes onsite attendance difficult, while preserving live interaction with the tutor.
Ms Chen is very knowledgeable, super responsible and supportive towards my son’s learning journey in Math.Highly recommended to the students who needs guidance and support in Math
My tutor is nice caring and supportive and she’s a very good teacher and help brush up my math. She goes the extra mile in guiding me. Highly recommended.
I go to tuition here for Math lessons. Ms Yvonne Chen is very helpful and patient with her students and always stops to ensure everyone understands the content fully before continuing. Under her guidance and help my math results have steadily improved and i strongly recommend anyone looking for tuition to attend Future Academy.
I attended class here when my GPA for math was very bad. In Y2 I managed to get a 4.0 after one year of lessons! Very grateful for the entertaining and enriching lessons. There is also good use of digital tools to enhance learning, even if one cannot make it physically, they are able to attend the lesson online in a way that is equally educational.
It is amazing, the teachers are great there and I really enjoyed it. I really recommend it because it helped me with my math a lot and it is a very good place to learn. I think it was very good that I chose to go here because it was so worth it. I felt very safe and I could ask any question, and they would help explain how to get to the answers. I think that it was very amazing that they print sheets for you to work on based on what your doing and I think that was a thing I had never seen before. I think they have amazing teachers and the teachers would sit down with you and explain each question you did not understand. It really helped me improve in math and I think it got me more confident in myself and not wondering if I was right, and instead knowing I am right. It was really great and I think Ms. Chen is a great teacher.
Excellent and all-rounded tuition centre. Provides tuition of a variety of subjects with highly dedicated and amazing teachers! They are extremely helpful and do their best to help you whatever problem you have. Smartlab Education Centre has operated since 1999 and offers IP tuition in Science, Math and English, although a separate IP Chemistry programme is not explicitly identified. For parents researching IP Chemistry tuition centres, its broad IP Science offering therefore requires careful confirmation of subject coverage, year placement and alignment with the student’s school sequence. Smartlab uses an Exploration, Strengthening and Consolidation system supported by activity-based learning, problem-based tasks, structured notes and assessment-oriented worksheets. Classes are described as small, with a one-to-six ratio that may permit closer attention and constructive feedback. The wider organisation has science teaching facilities and experienced full-time educators, while its locations cover several parts of Singapore. Parents should establish whether current IP Science classes provide the depth of Chemistry instruction their child specifically requires before enrolling.
Why Parents Choose Smartlab Education Centre?
Parents may consider Smartlab Education Centre for its long operating history, small classes and structured Science teaching approach. The Exploration, Strengthening and Consolidation sequence may suit students who need concepts introduced actively before moving into practice and correction. However, families seeking dedicated IP Chemistry tuition should confirm the exact curriculum, year range and proportion of Chemistry taught within the broader IP Science programme. This check matters because general Science support may not match the depth or pace of an upper-year IP Chemistry assessment.
The lessons are well structured and teachers are open to consultations! After doing some research, smartlab is the most cost efficient in terms of price and quality, with lab provided and up to date teaching. If you are looking for structure and support even with 0 experience, this is the best place to consider imo.Smartlab also has a diverse student pool so study environment wise,it would require more adaptability and flexibility! Personally,I had to take on a new Alevel subject as a private candidate but I was able to manage thanks to Smartlab. Thank you to all the teachers who remained encouraging throughout this journey!
My daughter joined smartlab to prepare for O-levels, she took Science (Chemistry, Biology) and English at the centre. It was months of their guidance, termly assessments and feedbacks from teachers in preparation for the Os. She was able to get A2 in Science. The reward she gets from Smartlab every time she gets an A for the Science term assessment added to her motivation. 😁 She said that she was relying on the notes given to her by her teacher towards the exams and she was so thankful of it that she decided to keep all of it if she may need it in the future. She is so thankful to her teachers in Science, I am so thankful to them as well for keeping her more interested in the subject that she loves and helping her excel on it. As for English she may have not got better result that she wanted still thankful she was able to get passing grade for it.
This is from a parent’s perspective. It was not an easy decision to have my daughter retake her o levels because of the stigma of wasting another year. I knew and so did my daughter from before her prelims that aiming for the result she wanted to get into a school of her choice would be quite impossible. I already started thinking of alternatives and by God’s grace I found out about SmartLab Private School and had a long chat with Tony. After that the path was clear and even when the results were not out, my daughter was registered at the school. 1 year later, the results speak for itself. No tuition this time! Chloe won 2 awards for good performance as well! SmartLab is more than a school, it is a place for those who want direct their own direction in life. Thank you SmartLab for being the light in our lives when we most needed it.
I had a blast the past year studying at smartlab! Every teacher was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Any part of the syllabuses that I did not understand would be explained to me with patience and repeatedly if necessary without them showing any sign of frustration! Texting the teachers was always recommended if clarification on topics was needed. The classrooms were all kept clean and the teachers always came prepared and well equipped for upcoming lessons. They provided us with ample notes and practice papers to ensure no gap in knowledge whatsoever. Thank you to Mr Tay Tien Kiat, Mr Tan Wei Ee, Mr Collin Lim and Principal of the SmartLab Mr Tony Tan for their guidance and support throughout the year! Highly recommended for those considering taking A levels for the first time and for retakers as well!😊
I enrolled at Smartlab last year to prepare for my O Levels as a private candidate at the age of 24. Back when I was 17, I took my N Levels and completely flunked them. I had no interest in studying at all. My grades were English (4), History (Absent) and the rest ungraded (Math, Science, POA). Fast forward to last year, after studying with Smartlab, my O Level results were English (A2), Humanities (Social Studies + History) (B4), Business Studies (B3) and POA (B3). Although I didn’t manage to pass Math (D7), I think I did pretty well considering I hadn’t studied for almost 8 years. Smartlab’s teachers and teaching strategies were very effective, they managed to cover about four years’ worth of content in less than a year. Their resources and structured approach really helped me regain my confidence in studying. Special thanks to Mr. Collin, who taught me English, Social Studies and History. He’s extremely encouraging, patient and always willing to help. I often texted him late at night with questions and he would always reply quickly. Overall, Smartlab’s teaching methods, materials and supportive teachers made a huge difference in my learning journey. I’m very thankful for their guidance and would highly recommend Smartlab to anyone preparing for their O Levels.
Smartlab has truly helped me achieve my dreams! When I joined, I was determined to do well for my O-Levels, and thanks to the supportive teachers and their effective teaching methods, I was able to reach my goals. The environment was always encouraging, and the teachers genuinely cared about helping every student succeed.
Because of the foundation I built at Smartlab, I’m now pursuing my Diploma in Criminology at a private academy — something I’ve always been passionate about. I’m really grateful for the guidance, motivation, and belief that Smartlab gave me throughout my journey.
Thank you, Smartlab, for being such an important part of my success and for always reminding your students to believe in themselves! 🙏🎓✨
Thank you so much, SmartLab, for giving me a second chance to redeem myself for my O-Levels and allowing me to pass all my subjects with flying colours. My chemistry especially, have improved tremendously, from E8 to A2!! After many negative experiences in my former school, SmartLab completely changed my perspective on studying and learning.
The teachers here are incredibly kind, patient, and dedicated — they take the time to explain every concept clearly until you truly understand it. They never make you feel judged or left behind, and their encouragement really motivated me to keep going. You can also approach the teachers anytime after class if you still have any doubts. They also provide really good notes and you even get to do hands-on practice for your Science practical at their lab!
The learning environment is also very conducive — quiet, comfortable, and filled with people who genuinely want to learn and improve themselves. I always felt supported not only academically but also emotionally, which made a huge difference in my confidence and attitude toward my studies.
I’m truly grateful for everything SmartLab has done for me. It’s not just a tuition centre — it’s a place that helped me rebuild my self-belief and rediscover the joy of learning. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to do well and feel supported along the way!

If you asked me what it means to be a bubbly, food loving critic that is competent and skilled in teaching Chemistry, there’s only one name that comes to mind. OSN - Ong Shi Neng ☃️
Since the first lesson he has been relentless in ensuring quality education, good eats and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Chemistry in Zenith for the past 1.5 years have truly been like no other. The teachers are caring and helpful, reassuring us that we are prepared, organising 24 hour zooms the night before, just so we can feel a bit more secure the day before the exam. It is no surprise that he is one of Zenith’s most beloved tutors. #Notfreepromo Join Zenith for the most fun experience. Coming back to edit this review Once i bag that A! 🦦🦦🦦🦦
I attended Chenfang's E-Math classes from Sec 3 to 4 and it really was an amazing experience to be learning with her!
In Sec 4, I jumped from a C6 for Prelims to a B3 for O's, something I thought I wouldn't be able to achieve. Chenfang helped me to understand what my weak points were through weekly assessments and so I improved steadily. Her classes are also really fun since she makes sure that we are not just studying but enjoying the process! The worksheets at Zenith also helped a lot as there were many diverse types of questions that helped with gradual and thorough understanding, with extras for practice at home! The snacks were also a real help for staying focused in class 🙂
I joined Nick's class in sec 3 for physics and he has helped me get good grades for physics throughout my upper sec and eventually get a1 for o levels. Without Nick I do not think I would have achieved such a good score. He is a very good teacher and makes lessons feel fun and explains concepts very well, I have not been lost or confused once in his lessons throughout my two years with him. I look forward to his classes every week and he made me fall in love with physics.😍😍 He also helps me with physics questions outside of lesson time when I whatsapp him especially when I was preparing for my exams.👍👍👍
I attended Nicholas Koh’s classes when I realised I was failing Chemistry and Physics in my Sec 3 WA2s. He helped pull my grades up from an F9 to an A2 for my O Levels! I truly appreciate his help so much. He is understanding, yet he also challenges me and strongly believes in my potential. His lessons are unlike those of other tutors who simply spoon-feed information instead, he makes sure new concepts are thoroughly drilled into your head so you truly understand them. Thank you Nick you genuinely changed my life. You’re the best!
I was a J2 student taking H2 physics under duncan!! Duncan is honestly one of the best physics tutors I’ve ever had. He answers my questions incredibly fast and always makes sure I fully understand the concepts before moving on. You can tell he really puts in the effort. tbh it feels like he works around the clock just to help his students. He’s super helpful, patient, and you can clearly see that he genuinely loves what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve in physics!
Because of laychuns lessons, I feel more confident in econs and I have improved in applying concepts on my own. He is patient, encouraging and genuinely wants his students to do better. Lessons are productive and I always end up learning something useful.
Shi neng has made chem very fun and enjoyable for me, this has made chem seem so much easier in school. He explains concepts very clearly and his lessons are very engaging!
Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who wants to improve and understand the subject better.
Shi Neng chemistry class is so good. Like everyone around me keeps saying chemistry is so hard and honestly I did find Chem hard before joining zenith Chem. However, after I went for June trial for energetics I realised how simple Chem is. Especially he helped me so much in organiche Chem by covering all the foundations and the small tiny details! I rlly recommend this class and I have gotten A /B throughout the time I have been with zenith. It’s also very fun cause he has a sense of humour HAHA !
My time at zenith has been really wonderful and really enjoyable. My chemistry tutor , Shi Neng has been really helpful at helping me understand H2 chemistry and making the journey more fun and bearable. Even with simple and obvious questions , Shi Neng has always been patient and really helpful with explaining chemistry concepts! Even with welfare he has always been very generous and thoughtful. TLDR he is a very thoughtful teacher and I wish I would have joined earlier 😭😭 676767

How to Choose the Best IP Chemistry Tuition for Your Child?
The best IP Chemistry tuition depends on where your child is struggling and how their school structures the subject. Some need slower conceptual explanation, while others understand content but lose marks when interpreting unfamiliar questions or expressing scientific reasoning precisely. Consider the following points before committing to a programme.
Confirm the exact IP curriculum fit, including year range, topic sequence and whether lessons accommodate differences between individual schools’ Chemistry programmes.
Identify your child’s main Chemistry gap, whether it involves foundations, calculations, practical interpretation, answer precision, confidence or managing faster classroom pacing.
Compare teaching and practice methods carefully, checking how tutors explain concepts, introduce unfamiliar applications, mark work and revisit recurring misconceptions.
Assess class size and support access, especially if your child stays quiet in groups or needs consultations between weekly lessons.
Balance location, schedule and lesson format, since excessive travel or poorly timed classes may make consistent attendance difficult beside school and CCA.
Review experience, feedback and total cost, using tutor credentials, parent reviews, trial lessons and fees together rather than trusting one indicator.
No option is universally suitable. A specialist programme may offer greater Chemistry depth, while personalised home tuition may better address school-specific gaps. Discuss the proposed pacing with your child, observe whether explanations make sense during a trial, and choose support that remains sustainable across the school year.
Our home tuition rates are constantly updated based on rates quoted by Home Tutors in Singapore. These market rates are based on the volume of 10,000+ monthly tuition assignment applications over a pool of 60,000+ active home tutors.
