When choosing a crochet workshop for kids in Singapore, parents can consider age recommendations, project difficulty, class size and the level of guidance available. Some studios offer structured crochet pathways, while others introduce the craft through a themed project or broader creative programme. It also helps to check whether materials are included and whether the activity suits complete beginners. This guide covers 10 crochet centres in Singapore, with overviews, Google reviews, locations, prices and contact details to help you find a suitable option for your child.

I came stopped by earlier today to get some yarn for my project. I loved the environment and atmosphere the place has, it was NOT intimidating at all. The people here are nice and so open to explaining how different yarns work together.
I got to learn about Tiny Rabbit Hole after my sister saw their yarn sale on Instagram. Although my first purchase was made online, I decided to physically visit the shop to check their product line-up. Staff are nice and the most important aspect in anyone’s knitting hobby is, meeting non-judgemental shopkeepers. Their prices are competitive against other knitting/yarn shops in Singapore.
Staff were super-duper friendly! They were helpful in answering questions about the local hand-dyed yarns as someone who's only visiting the island for a short while. Also very kind and patient as I fumbled with the payment method 😅
Love that they caught that I had accidentally grabbed a different colorway and asked to confirm, because I had been aiming to get 3 instead of 2 + a different one! They were quick to grab the correct one from storage.
Went to Tiny Rabbit Hole today to celebrate my husband's birthday, and I think this place truly deserves a shout-out!
The environment was so cozy and welcoming, and we were lucky enough to enjoy one-to-one guidance since we were the only two participants in the plush-making workshop. The lady boss was extremely friendly and patient, making the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable.
We had such a fun and fulfilling time, and seeing our completed plushies after 1.5 hours gave us a real sense of accomplishment.
Thank you for the wonderful five-star session today — it made our celebration extra special! 💕
We tried plush making with the cool machines and hand stitches, really fun with adorable plushies to bring back home. Suggested for kids with parent who can help along, as the freehand stitching can be tough for young ones. Jasmine and Angie are super patient and helpful, able to make good any slips we had. Hope space was bigger though, to cater for flocks of teens and fams through the day.

My 10-year-old daughter is left-handed, and after enquiring at a few places that were not keen to teach a left-handed child, we were so glad to find Envy Her Crafts. It was a last-minute, impromptu call, and we really appreciated how kind and accommodating Atikah, for arranging a lesson at such short notice.
Atikah was very patient and professional, and knew how to guide a left-handed learner. Within the 2-hour class, my daughter managed to pick up the basics of crochet!
Thank you, Atikah, for helping to fulfil my daughter’s birthday wish of learning crochet. It was such a meaningful and wonderful experience for her. Highly recommended! ❤️🧶
I highly recommend Envy Her Craft for beginners. The tutor is friendly, patient, and very encouraging. My daughter started with basic crochet skills, gained confidence, and even showcased her work at a school talent event, winning 2nd prize. A wonderful place that truly inspires young learners! 💛
My child had a great time crafting. Teachers were patient. The space is also welcoming and spacious. I would recommend to host small group crafting parties.
Had a great experience with Envy Her Crafts! The service was friendly and helpful, and they took the time to guide me on what to choose. My girl learnt how to crochet a tag keychain and even went on for her 2nd craft, dumpling bag. Loved the wide variety of crafts available. And space is big enough for corporate events. There’s something for everyone, from beginners to more experienced crafters. Highly recommend!
Signed my girl and her friend up for a 5 hour holiday handicraft program with Envy Her Crafts and I must say, the specially curated projects are a hit with the girls. A delightful place to indulge in art and craft. The girls enjoyed themselves tremendously and proudly brought home their personalised creations. While a lil’ more enthusiasm from the staff would have brought our experience to a whole new level, the staff are friendly enough, and definitely helpful. This place is highly recommended.

This was my first time trying crochet, and I had absolutely no experience. I made so many mistakes, but my teacher was incredibly patient and encouraging throughout the whole class.
The class was supposed to be from 10 AM to 12 PM, but I ended up finishing at almost 1:30 PM. Even though it took much longer than expected, he was still so patient and took the time to teach me everything until I could finish my crochet piece.
Thank you so much, teacher! 🥰 This was truly one of the best experiences for me. It really boosted my confidence and reminded me that I can learn and create new things, even when I have no experience.
Such a meaningful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! 🧶❤️
Trainers Ellouise and Hui Wen are very patient & experienced. Had a marvellous 4 sessions with them. Made tulips, xiao long bao, bumble bee & pineapple.
I attended Teacher Elle's tulip crochet workshop and had a wonderful experience! 🌷🧶
Three hours flew by. I'm so grateful for the gentle, welcoming environment she created. Having attended her xiao long bao crochet workshop previously, I already knew I would be in good hands. I felt comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at my own pace.
Teacher Elle was patient, encouraging, and explained each step clearly, making the class both relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend her workshop for anyone interested in learning crochet, even as a complete beginner! 🥰
Went for Xiao Long Bao class with my 2 daughters. Teacher Elle is very patient in answering our questions and gave helpful tips. We are all beginners without crocheting experience. She prepared the base of the Xiao long bao before the class, so we can start with the basic single crochet and make our way to the top. Otherwise we wouldnt be able to finish in 3hrs. We made it to keychains. She showed us how to do the base and sent us video to recap.
My daughter always wanted to learn crochet. So I went searching for lessons and chanced upon Arts at Hearts. The little classroom is bring and conducive fir learning. Teacher Elle is very patient when ur comes to teaching. I appreciate that she even teaching how to read instructions on manual. Not sure how much my daughter absorbed, but definitely she got her bao done im time 😅 Thanks Teacher Elle.

A wonderful place to spark creativity! Highly recommended if you’re looking for warm, friendly neighborhood art classes in Bukit Timah. Even with the ongoing mall renovations, it’s still our children’s favorite spot.
Our daughters love this place. Prior to coming here for a trial class, the girls didn't show much interest in art and now it is their favourite place to come. They enjoy their regular lesson and also love the various art drop-in sessions. They have tried the cream gels and also Art Jamming. Teacher L is an absolute gem and the girls love her! Such a fantastic art studio! Cannot recommend enough!
My girl just celebrated her birthday party at Happy Art Loft and she love it! All her friends enjoy the craft. The Art studio is very spacious. Most important the Art teachers are very patient and nice to kids!
Want to say thank you to Teacher L for helping me deco the party area and make it so nice! She is so friendly and nice 😊
Both our girls have been taking classes at Happy Art Loft for almost 2 years with Ms Losini and they love and look forward to it so much. It’s such a warm and encouraging space and Ms Losini is an amazing teacher!
I had the pleasure of being a part-time art teacher at Happy Art Loft, which truly is a hidden gem for artists! The cozy atmosphere exudes creativity, passion and encouragement. The studio itself is thoughtfully designed with open space and well-organized art supplies. There are a lot of arts and crafts materials allowed me to explore. I really enjoyed the moment can teach and build relationships with children in various ages.
My colleagues are not only highly skilled but also caring and supportive. The manager Ms Liew is adept at observing and discovering my strengths, allowing me the maximum room to excel and grow. For instance, I am more proficient in Chinese arts (calligraphy and painting) comparing to other art format, so I was encourage to create a new curriculum for this workshop. Sometimes, the boss will treat all the teacher dinner, gathering together to have fun.
Overall, as a part-time art teacher, I feel supported and valued by the management. Working here is a joy! This studio is a haven for aspiring artists, and I highly recommend it.

Sent daughter here for a lesson. Teacher Jass was super patient and sweet, and was always ready to offer advice and help whenever needed. MY girl really enjoyed the class! There is also a wide range of items for sale for all your crafting needs. Really nice place!
Memo Art house really gives us customers a very homely feeling. They are always ready to help and assist anytime. There are many yarns available in the store and of good quality. I have been buying from them both online and at the physical shop from 2 years ago. Their delivery is fast and their staff are knowledgeable about yarns. They have many projects that is showcase in their store especially amigurumis. Recently they have included beading crafts and charms. I like that they have some of the best crochets hooks ready and available in stock. Their yarns are also very affordable; they also organized classes for all ages. Like what Chinese say 麻雀虽小五脏俱全。

Thoroughly enjoyed learning to crochet with Eileen. She's not only a skilled expert in her craft, but also incredibly friendly and patient with beginners. We had great conversations and in the two hours we had, she helped me master the foundational techniques while sharing valuable tips along the way. What also impressed me was the thoughtful post-workshop materials she prepared to support continued self-learning. This was genuinely one of the best workshop experiences I've had—I can't recommend it highly enough!
I attended a beginner crochet class and it was such an enlightening experience! Learning in person was totally different from following tutorials online. I finally understood what each stitch really means, the height differences between single, double and treble crochet, and even mastered the magic circle!
Eileen explained everything so clearly, especially the stitch abbreviations and how to read charts — it all makes so much more sense now. The cozy environment, warm atmosphere, and lots of laughter made learning even more enjoyable.
It was truly fun and enriching — highly recommended for anyone starting their crochet journey! 🧶✨
I initially signed up for the CP soap beginner class simply seeking some knowledge about soap making. Little did I know that this experience would ignite a passion for crafting natural soaps and lead me all the way to the advanced and design classes! 🤣
What truly set this class apart was the hands-on approach. We got to mix the ingredients, choose our own scents and spice blends, and design the soap’s appearance.
The instructors Yean and Jin are very patient, the environment was warm and equipped with almost everything we need for soap making. I must say this place had me totally hooked! 😁🥰
Simply enjoyable lessons for the Cold Process Basic, Design and Advance Soap Making! The trainers are all so friendly and knowledgeable. Wish the hands-on portion could be extended a bit longer (and shorten the lecture time :))) Looking forward to making fancier soaps at their premises!

Took me awhile to find this place with a lot of walking but it's so worth it. I was able to find the clover amour crochet steel hooks and it's cheaper than online. It's supposed to be $75 but I got it for $56. I would have stayed here for hours if I am alone. Staff is friendly as well. So much variety of yarns and other craft stuff. There are also a lot of crochet hooks to choose from. It's just heaven. 🤩🤩

Good selection of yarns that has been imported from all over the world. Great location with it being Easy to find off Google maps as it’s located in a mall off the Main Street with loads of other shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Frankly, I buy yarns from all over the world during my international travels and the prices seemed abit over priced. However it is important to note that everything is imported and nothing is manufactured locally.
I love this store, been frequenting since I started punch needling and I was able to buy the needles, hoops, cloth and yarn. 🤩 I also bought some tools for needle felting, patches, etc. They have Japanese brands as well — my favorite is the Clover brand.

Workshops and supplies are available through the People’s Park Centre retail store.
Age suitability: Confirm the minimum age and whether younger children need an accompanying adult during the workshop.
Instructor experience: Ask about the teacher’s experience guiding children, beginners and learners who need extra time with hand coordination.
Teaching approach: Look for clear demonstrations, manageable steps and patient correction rather than expecting children to copy a finished sample independently.
Skill level: Check whether the class assumes knowledge of chains, single crochet, magic rings, pattern symbols or basic sewing.
Class size: Smaller groups can make it easier for children to receive help when tension, counting or stitch placement becomes confusing.
Project difficulty: Choose an achievable first project with enough challenge to sustain interest without creating unnecessary frustration.
Lesson length: Consider your child’s concentration and hand stamina, especially when a project requires several hours or multiple sessions.
Materials included: Confirm whether yarn, hooks, stuffing, needles, accessories and printed patterns are covered by the stated workshop fee.
Tool safety: Ask how instructors supervise hooks, yarn needles, scissors and small accessories, particularly for younger participants.
Progression pathway: A structured sequence can suit children who want to move from basic stitches into amigurumi, bags or original patterns.
Creative freedom: Consider whether children can select colours, details or projects while still receiving enough technical instruction.
Home practice: Check whether learners receive patterns, videos or guidance that helps them finish and repeat techniques after class.
Learning environment: Visit or enquire about seating, lighting and workspace comfort because crochet requires sustained attention to small stitches.
Child confidence: A patient, encouraging atmosphere can help hesitant beginners treat mistakes as part of learning a practical craft.
Schedule access: Compare workshop dates, travel time, MRT access and options for rescheduling missed multi-session classes.
Fee clarity: Review material charges, session counts, extension costs and prerequisites before comparing the overall value of different workshops.
