Planning cruises for families involves more than choosing an appealing itinerary. The right family cruise balances suitable accommodation, age-appropriate activities, reliable supervision, practical dining options and enough flexibility for parents to relax. Singapore families can consider short sailings from Marina Bay, international ocean voyages and smaller river cruises focused on culture. Before booking, check departure ports, youth-club age bands, attraction restrictions, cabin capacity and additional charges carefully. This guide covers 10 cruise providers for Singapore families, with overviews, Google reviews, locations, prices and contact details to help parents compare options and find the right fit for their child.

One of the most satisfying trips I’ve ever had! 🚢✨
What I loved most: • The ship itself is massive and beautiful, with so many places to explore • Food was consistently good with plenty of variety throughout the trip • Crew members were friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help • Lots of activities and shows, so there was never a boring moment • The ship was surprisingly clean despite having thousands of passengers onboard. • Waking up to endless ocean views every morning was simply priceless
Even after several days onboard, I was still discovering new corners of the ship. Every deck seemed to have its own atmosphere, making the journey feel fresh and exciting from start to finish.
Ovation of the Seas balances relaxation and entertainment. Whether you want a packed schedule or simply sit back and enjoy the sea breeze, there’s something for everyone. Time passed way too quickly, and getting off the ship was honestly the hardest part of the trip. Definitely an experience I’d love to repeat again in the future! 🌊❤️🚢
This is a great Cruise Ship and is very relaxing and fun. I board the Ovation of the Sea departure from Singapore. A lot of shows and activity's in the ship. The food and beverages were nice and delicious. Looking forward for another Cruise adventure in future. The service provided by the crew members on board were great and friendly as well. as very helpful in assisting guests.👍👍👍❤️❤️😀😀😋😋
Was looking forward to going on a cruise 🛳 the experience is good not excellent but acceptable. You fancy few days of rest and recreation this is the place of course if you don't mind the crowd and 3 days of buffet food. Do some light shopping 🛍 enjoy the experience . Getting on and off is a breeze it's Singapore 🇸🇬 everything is orderly ehailing very easy and comfortable. In the end I took a cruise.
Royal Caribbean cruises in Singapore are always an incredible experience, packed with activities for all ages. There’s never a dull moment—from the exciting daily evening shows to a huge variety of sports and free-play activities like football, basketball 🏀, badminton 🏸, pickleball, archery, roller skating, table tennis, rock climbing, FlowRider surfing, and so much more.
Our family is constantly looking forward to the next adventure at sea. We’ve sailed on Mariner, Spectrum, Anthem, and now Ovation of the Seas, and each ship has offered something unique and memorable.
What truly sets Royal Caribbean apart is the amazing crew on board every vessel. Their friendliness, professionalism, and exceptional service always go beyond expectations. 👏

Just had an incredible trip from Seattle to Alaska on the Star Princess! Food was amazing, Staff was very friendly… Everything was first class award this beautiful ship!
Wife and I just did our first cruise ever to Alaska on Star Princess.
I'll will lead this with the crew and the service was amazing. 5 stars for all of them.
5 stars for the ship itself. Being about 9 months old on our sailing probably helped with that.
My ding is food was OK not great and on glacier day when darn near everyone is getting up earlier and out on upper decks the coffee shop options did not open to suit. They did put out LARGE pots of coffee at spots around the ship but those emptied quickly. At the very least if the coffee and cones on 17 could have been opened. We ended up ordering coffee to the room which to their credit as I'm sure there were lots of similar requests. It came quickly.
The Eatery food was plentiful and OK. As part of the cost of the ticket was a decent option.
Main dining was a step above with the sit down service being amazing. The food was ok. Again as part of the ticket cost it was a nice option.
The specialty restaurants service again great. The food didn't tingle my taste buds like youtube channels built them up to be.
Margaritas no matter the bar were great! Local casino's (SNO. MUC, EQC) should go on a cruise to find out what a margarita should taste like.
A feature I would like added is on the ship channel that listed the hours of operation each day. Could that be published for the whole cruise that you can scroll through? Or at least have the next days viewable (cough, cough, glacier day coffee hours). A few times I'd see what time a location was open and plan for next day only to find out the next days hours were different.
Again first ever cruise and was a great experience will be doing it again.
I want to give 5 stars because how amazing every single aspect was on the cruise but 1 thing... So im sorry to my servers with more than perfect around the pools, bars, resturaunts etc. Also to the perfect twice a day super warming room service, bartenders who always made perfect drinks at all 5 or so bars. To those who made great tacos and pizza immediately at the bars (just till 10(?)😒). To the great chefs in the International buffet and Aurora, along with all the support.
I didnt like paying around 3500 for my inside room going to Alaska for 8 days on the new princess 2 weeks ago. I was happy with my cheap $200 cruise (that still felt great to Ensenada) on carnival. I had just come because family was going and may never have the opportunity to come again
I was amazed that the on ship food experience and relaxation were better than the travel locations for the most part. However I still havent regained my breath from the Ebcott arm experience. Some amazing Capitans that know so much, getting in extremly tight places we were sideways in that looks to be inches of clearance front and back for the perfect iceberg veiw.
HERES MY ISSUE. The massuse said had to have acupuncture to resolve back issues and that she is signing me up. I ask how much, then she replied its no charge. I come back that night for acupuncture, dude looks at my tounge and talks to me. Never says any prices or any sign of charge and tells me to lie down. Puts needles in and asks if I want uv light over back to help work faster. I ask how much, says 50. We get to the register expecting 50 plus auto crazy tip buts its 250 plus insane auto tip. Guest services and lotus spa all just route me to the same dr ding giving me the run around. I was upset for days ruining my cruise because my budget is already tight and I just been scammed where im supposed to escape from stress.
I’ve had a great experience journeying Spain and France this past autumn. We had 4 ports stops and everything was beautiful. The port stops had buses for us passengers and we well timed for us to come back on Star Princess. The food was amazing, the entertainment was great. We watched magic shows and sang karaoke, there were movie nights, gym, we were never bored.
There is no real good place to review Princess cruise ships. Here are my photos review of Royal Princess, and thoughts. We cruised to Alaska in early September 2025. We had beautiful weather and was bless with seeing caving at Margie Glazier. Royal Princess staff were fantastic. We took down names of the staff who assisted us. But at the end of the cruise, we didn’t get a survey to highlight the great service they provided. Here are the names of those who shined and made the cruise enjoyable: Cristina - hostess Nompilo - hostess Carlos - jr waiter Naudi - waiter Sylvester - jr waiter Don - room steward Dion - jr waiter Oussama - jr waiter Ikhsan - jr waiter Charles - jr waiter Mario - jr waiter lunch Luis - jr waiter
Princess Theater Shows - Encore was great, Aretha was good, we didn’t go to Motown, variety was good, the shows selection was okay. With the demographics of the cruisers, the shows music should gear towards audience. More country, pop, or party tunes, shows quality was very good.
Check-in okay, not the worst or quick Don’t stay in cabins at the back of ship. Noise and vibration Some bath, hand, and wash towels are stained and worn. Good shower water pressure and hot
Dining rooms: Allegro Casual dining room. We ate here 90% of the meals. Symphony is a bit more elegant decor Good menu selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Customer service desk assistants were helpful.
Appreciated and enjoyed the naturalist, Robert Raincock. Robert did a great job educating and informative. He made the topics easy to understand with humor. Would recommend having him present his nature photography session at the beginning of the cruise vs on the last day of the cruise. Maybe be make it a workshop.

Three-night and four-night sailings depart Singapore. Selected newer four-night itineraries visit Langkawi, while other voyages focus on onboard experiences.

Right from baggage drop, immigration or onboarding, every step was well done by Disney & team.
Special shoutout to our host Agus & Leishi who went way above the call of duty to ensure our diet restrictions were well taken care of! Completely unexpected. And Lorreta who captured the best looking facet of you while managing the crowd at select attractions - Well done & Many Thanks To All Of You!!!!
We opted for the state room on the forward right deck with ocean view. Didn't feel any motion sickness.
What is the USP of this cruise? Disney's larger than life theatrics - music, shows & the sit down dinner. Equally, you could see all that reflecting in the decor that a few fans setup outside their room doors.
What could be subtly better? Food quantity seemed excess for our diet. Can be optimized.
Looking at the reviews it seems Disney is incorporating all the feedback along the way!!!
We had an enjoyable experience on the Disney Adventure Cruise. The highlights for us was decorating our cabin door, the little touches of Disney pixie dust, and the many opportunities to meet Disney characters. These magical moments really created the Disney atmosphere that many guests come for. We went in with the mindset of treating it as a relaxing getaway rather than expecting every dollar spent to be justified by the facilities or activities, and that helped us appreciate the experience much more. If you're looking for a Disney-themed vacation at sea you'll likely enjoy it. The dining was generally better than average, and the interactions with both the crew members and Disney characters were warm, memorable, and a big part of what made the trip special. One thing we especially appreciated was having the same team assisting us in both dining and housekeeping throughout the trip. Their friendly, attentive service helped create a more personal and comfortable experience, and it was nice to be greeted by familiar faces each day. Our stateroom was comfortable and decent, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, a great Disney experience at sea and a relaxing holiday for Disney fans.
The concierge experience was largely positive due to the crew service and approach. The concierge lounge sinks were oddly in desperate need of repair as none of them sensed properly for a hand wash as compared to the other sinks onboard.
The sit-down dinners were fun and always awesome with the server team.
The amenities were largely to satisfaction. Would have been more enjoyable if conicerge had priority reservation to popular rides and attractions.
The main pools have plenty of restrictions so take note especially for diaper-donning children. The concierge pool is rather small with 4 jacuzzi tubs and diaper kids are not allowed.
We had chosen a 2bedder stateroom which we really loved the bit more space. All in all we were thankful to have had this experience.

This was my wife's 1st cruise & my second but first time with Celebrity. We took the Reflection ship from FLL to Key West & Bimini, 4 night. Overall we found the ship to exceed our expectations in just about every way. My only negative view, is the initial pricing is much like Vegas hotels. The cruise is fairly affordable until you realize the vague terms used, additional fees, etc. However, after cruising, very understanding on many of them. The ship and staff were all top notch, insanely clean, etiquette was top tier, very pleased overall. We wanted to mention, we dined at the Opus restaurant each night, our waiter pair- Stancy & Edel, made it impossible to not dine there. They are the type of staff that keep you going back to a restaurant, very appreciative of them both. We are already planning our wedding anniversary to be with Celebrity, just need to decide where to go!
June 6 -13th, 2026 I cruised with Celebrity X Cruise Line from Athens Piraeus Greece, Rhodes, Greece, Ephesus Kusadasi, Turkey, Santorini, Greece Hydra, Greece, and Mykonos, Greece...
All in all, this Cruise was one of my best I ever traveled. I got to relax, rest, party and mingle! Thank you for the great Team, the cleanliness and the safety of your Cruise Line. I appreciate you and your Team in Quality Service and Suburb care! I pray we get to see one another real soon! Below are the staff I had the opportunity to meet and spend time to learn the names and gave my word I would send a review.
I met some of the dancers and singers, but I wasn't able to get their names. Also, I saw mazing Magician, I could go on and on however if you have an opportunity check out the Cruise Line for yourself and you will understand my language of this review.
Below are the staff I had the opportunity to meet and spend time to learn the names and gave my word I would send a review.

Sailed on the Equinox out of Rome. We found the food to be plentiful and tasty. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Shout outs to Solona, Wayan, and Rhyan! 🥳 The ship was well maintained and clean. As first time cruisers we had no idea what to expect. Very very pleased with this cruise line and our experiences on board.
Celebrity Reflection delivered a truly stellar cruise experience and exceeded expectations in every way. Our AquaClass stateroom was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a refined, luxurious feel that made it a pleasure to return to after each day.
A special highlight was Blu restaurant, where the entire team—from the reception desk to the waiters and sommelier—was absolutely outstanding. Service was consistently attentive, warm, and professional. Our stateroom attendant, Merlin, was equally exceptional—always available, detail-oriented, and genuinely helpful.
Throughout the entire cruise, we felt welcomed and exceptionally well cared for by every member of the crew. The quality, professionalism, demeanor, and motivation of the staff truly stood out and were the defining factor that made this voyage so memorable.
An unforgettable experience and a well-deserved 5/5!
Went on a two week Antarctica cruise embarking from Buenos Aires on board Celebrity Equinox from January 31-February 14. Extremely pleased with the level of service we have received. It shows that with the right crew led by a captain who genuinely cares about the people under him attaining a superior level of service is not impossible. It is impossible to list every crew member’s name on this review. But I want to highlight the following individuals: 1. Amando, cabin attendant 2. Percival, main dining waiter 3. Michael, assistant waiter 4. Jasper, love his willingness to accommodate us 5. Manuel, cruise director (in my opinion he would have been a perfect comedian in the Philippines like Dolphy) 6. Rebecca and Casey 7. LAST BUT NOT LEAST CAPTAIN LEO
My wife and I are Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor Diamond members and have cruised on Holland America and Carnival. NCL, Princess, Disney, MSC, etc. may disagree with me but right now Celebrity right now is our cruise liner of choice.

Embarking on our MSC cruise from Port Canaveral was a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The terminal was clean, modern, and well organized, making the check-in and boarding process quick and efficient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept everything moving, so we spent very little time waiting in line.
Parking was convenient, and the terminal was easy to navigate with clear signs and plenty of space. Security and boarding were handled professionally, making the entire process stress-free. It was a great way to start our vacation, and before we knew it, we were onboard enjoying everything the cruise had to offer.
If you’re sailing with MSC from Port Canaveral, you can expect an organized, hassle-free experience with excellent staff and a well-run terminal. It made the first day of our trip easy and enjoyable, and we’d happily cruise from here again.
We had a balcony room, which I love. Theres plenty of room for 2 people in there. We've done one with 4 people and thats a bit tight, but doable. Cruise is laid back, and crowd is a tad older, but still plenty of energy in their parties and events. Food is about a 7/10, its good, but some of it leaves a tad to be desired, the pizza is all made from scratch and is amazing, more of a 9/10. We had a good time and will probably cruise with msc again.
I had a fantastic experience sailing with MSC Cruises. The ship was modern, spotless, and full of great spaces to relax, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. The food offered plenty of variety and quality, and the entertainment was energetic and impressive every night. Our cabin was comfortable and well maintained, and the excursions were organized and smooth from start to finish. Overall, MSC delivered an excellent vacation and I’d happily sail with them again.

The cruise was fun, alot of events and things to do. The food was bland, definitely need to be seasoned. Also alot of times it was cold. The destinations were beautiful and fun. The lines to get back on the cruise was crazy long. Certain restaurants have different opening and closings times which causes the food that is still open to have extremely long lines. Overall it was a fun experience that I would do again.
Carnival is akin to: The poor man's Porsche A floating golden corral The entry level fraternity
That being said - I love cruising on carnival and have tried others and will only come back to sail again on carnival!
It's a party boat Which we love
The food has gotten way way way better in the last few years
Exceptional value for your money - if you like to party especially

We sailed on NCL Luna to Dom Republic, St. Thomas and Tortola for 7 nights. It was a fun cruise and had a lot of good energy and goos folks on board. We met people on our excursions and had a good time exploring the ships offerings. The only ding overall is that it feels like the entertainment venues could be bigger foe the smaller shows like comedy and the pub since people show up strong for these events. Had fun and will repeat again at some point. If youre curious about cruising this is a line I'd try out on a 3 or 5 day to see if you like it. Last comment is to know before you go on charges since NCL does have a number of micro or upgrade charges for things, but the staff is excellent at informing you well before youre charged so that is a big plus for this cruise line.
Today I'll be reviewing Norwegian Cruise Line from Jacksonville. First, I'll mention the ship's staff. A huge thank you to everyone for the cleanliness and order everywhere—in the cabins, in the restaurants, on the deck by the pool. A huge thank you to the waiters and assistants for their service, for the delicious food and your kind smiles. The musicians for their shows and wonderful voices. The animators for their entertainment. And so much more. On the ship, you'll find everything you need for relaxation: swimming pools, a jacuzzi, a game room, a gym, a casino, shows and entertainment day and night, excellent food and drinks. There's something for every taste and desire. We missed some interesting shore excursions, which is perhaps the only downside to the cruise.

How to Choose the Best Cruises for Families in Singapore
Departure logistics: Check the embarkation port, check-in schedule and travel-document requirements before committing to a sailing.
Cruise duration: Choose a voyage length that suits your child’s age, routine, stamina and previous travel experience.
Youth age bands: Confirm that supervised clubs accept every child’s exact age during the scheduled sailing dates.
Staff supervision: Review childcare arrangements, staff experience, registration procedures and collection rules for supervised youth sessions.
Safety requirements: Check minimum ages, heights, swimming abilities, footwear rules and adult-supervision conditions for every priority attraction.
Activity balance: Look for suitable combinations of active recreation, creative programmes, entertainment and quieter spaces for necessary downtime.
Ship facilities: Verify that the selected vessel has the pools, clubs, attractions and family spaces shown in promotional materials.
Cabin layout: Compare occupancy limits, connecting-room availability, sleeping arrangements, storage and bathroom access for the entire family.
Dining flexibility: Consider included restaurants, meal timings, children’s choices and support for dietary or religious food requirements.
Programme schedule: Check whether appealing activities overlap, require reservations or operate only during restricted hours onboard.
Childcare charges: Establish which clubs are included and which nursery, babysitting or late-night sessions attract additional fees.
Total pricing: Compare fares alongside port charges, gratuities, internet, speciality dining, excursions, transfers and paid attractions.
Itinerary pace: Consider whether sea days, port visits and excursion durations suit your child’s energy and mobility needs.
Learning opportunities: Cultural excursions, workshops and destination programmes can add educational value beyond onboard recreation.
Family preferences: Match the ship’s atmosphere and activity style with each child’s interests, confidence and comfort level.
