My child Zoey enjoys her class with Teacher Maggie! She loves her weekly lessons at All that Jazz academy. Most importantly I can see the improvement in the way she expresses herself and her self confidence when performing.
I must say, this is the best dance academy in Singapore. My daughter is taking Junior Ballet, Jazz, and Tap combo class under Ms. Fang Yu. She is very dedicated and my daughter is progressing really well. As they are providing the combo class in junior level, my child is able to try out the three dance styles and see which one she has more interest and concentrate more on that style in future. Apart from this, I highly appreciate their service, they are highly responsive.
A nice dance school, my daughter looks forward to her lessons weekly. Very helpful teachers as well as over the counter personnel to attend to enquiries.
I’m updated monthly with videos on my child’s progress. A safe and nice environment.
We just wanted to share how much our daughter has enjoyed her time at All That Jazz. It’s been a wonderful experience, and we’re so grateful to the entire staff for all the support and kindness over the past year. The teachers have been amazing—so patient and encouraging—and their guidance has truly helped our daughter grow and gain confidence in her dancing.
A special thank-you for offering Acro dance classes for younger children. Our daughter, now 6, discovered her love for Acro when she was 5, back in the U.S. After moving here, it was a real challenge to find a studio that welcomed kids her age into Acro, so we were thrilled to find All That Jazz. You’ve created a space where young dancers can feel inspired and supported, and we’re so appreciative of that.

Our daughters have been part of the Academy for 6 and 9 years, and they absolutely love it. Over the years, they have learned how to work as part of a team, built their confidence, developed a strong stage presence, and, most importantly, had a lot of fun along the way. The Academy offers the perfect combination of learning, creativity, and enjoyment. The final shows are always outstanding, showcasing not only impressive quality but also an incredible atmosphere and sense of community. We couldn't recommend it more highly!
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Sing'theatre academy. Teacher Louis is exceptionally encouraging, and dedicated to helping every child grow in confidence and skill. From the very beginning, my daughter felt welcomed, supported, and inspired.
The classes are always engaging, creative, and fun, making my daughter look forward to every session. Through the teacher Louis' guidance and positive approach, my daughter developed not only her acting abilities but also her self-confidence, communication skills, and willingness to step outside her comfort zone.
The end of semester showcase was well-organised and gave the students a wonderful opportunity to showcase everything they had learned. It was lovely to see my daughter in her element on stage!
I’ve completed the Showstopper programme(12 weeks) under Sing’Theatre Academy; looking for a space to hone my skillset in ensemble work for the Musical Theatre stage. We were looking towards putting up the musical, “The Wedding Singer”.
The musical was led and directed by TJ Taylor. We got to practice our ensemble singing skills for the first few weeks and then went into focusing on developing all the Song & Dance numbers, led by Md. Al-Hafiz Hosni and Kimberly Martin. Every ensemble members were given featured roles throughout the show; that allowed each participant to develop various characterisations and at the same time, highlighting their strongest skillset to build further confidence and stage presence. Scene work were more intimate; involving only the characters required to work and collaborate together with TJ and Rachel Braberry.
The cherry on top about this experience was meeting people from various career backgrounds, age and level of skillset in each individual language of musical theatre; singing, acting and dancing. And not forgetting, a whole Sing’Theatre community/kampung backing you up with backstage crew, creatives, production team and the photographer, Yu Khing, who helped to preserve our show memories through his work.
If you’re looking amateur/ semi-professional performer looking to practice your skills, a corporate baddie looking for an “after-work activity” or even if you’re simply just waiting for University , National Service and other seasons of your life to begin… this programme might be for you!!!
My kids have been here for 3 semesters, but this semester by teacher Louis is the best. This isn't the first time I've watched the semester-end performance but it's the most complex one for the 4-5 year old age group, with every kid delivering their actions and lines, on back to back performances. The effor and rehearsals led by Louis is impressive, done fun yet professionally. Also great assist by Xavier and the backstage team! Thank you and keep this up!
Im actually hesitant to write this review cos...more children will fight for the slot now haha, we love this class too much! Our children 3 & 6yo enjoyed the lessons ALOT. We are impressed with the lesson, so are the songs and script. Initially we thought isit too ambitious? Will it become a mess? 4 songs and a long script for such a big group of young children? Applause to Teacher Louis! He helped the kids achieve an amazing show at the end of the semester. We feel so proud for all the children, every dance and every line said are beautiful and awesome, it takes courage and patience for both teacher and students. I'm sure there will be more students coming for the new semester, I hope the academy will continue to do well and keep their standard. I don't understand why there are bad reviews about the school, everything we have encountered and seen here are good and sincere.

The dancers were stunning on stage, and I was truly impressed by their beautiful performances at the concert. The school must take great pride in coaching its students and witnessing their growth. It offers a friendly and welcoming environment, suitable for beginners pursuing dance as a hobby as well as for those aiming to compete. With a variety of classes tailored to students’ needs, the school caters to a wide range of interests and goals.
While the teachers train the kids on the techniques, they are also caring and pay attention to safety. My girl learns about working hard, discipline, commitment, teamwork and resilience in the process. The teachers' and the principal's passion in dancing and grooming the young ones is evident, this is something that I as a parent value a lot.
Hi Ms Lang Ley, this may be a bit delayed but wanted to say a big congratulations 🎉 on the success of Palette in Motion 😊 it was a very enjoyable concert and I can see the amount of planning and hard work put in by you and your teachers. Kudos to you all! Also thank you for giving SL the opportunity to be part of this. It’s a big milestone for her and her last concert was very kiddy like and I can see how she has matured into a diligent dancer. She may not be your best dancer and I do not push her too much to the point she no longer finds joy in dancing. I can tell she enjoys dancing with Elevate and appreciate the guidance and patience you and your teachers have given her. Thank you Ms Lang Ley and have a wonderful year end holiday break ahead!
I have been with Elevate since its inception, and have been under the guidance of our principal, Ms Langley, for over a decade, training in Modern Jazz and Modern Theatre. Ms Langley is a dedicated, approachable and experienced dance teacher who nurtures her students to not only do well in dance, but also in life. As a teacher who values versatility, she provides many avenues for her students to explore different dance genres, offering classes in various styles, and organising local and overseas excursions and workshops to learn from a myriad of choreographers and dancers. Under her tutelage, I was given many opportunities, including learning from talented choreographers in South Korea, as well as experiencing my first solo competitions in Singapore and Malaysia. Elevate offers a unique and thorough programme to groom students into versatile and technical dancers, as well as confident and experienced performers. Would highly recommend!
I have been with Ms Langley for over 10 years and I’ve learnt a lot from her. She is not only a very caring and patient teacher, but also a teacher who disciplines and instills moral values in us. Elevate Dance Acadamie is also a conducive environment for dance and is well-equipped too. Furthermore, there are many opportunities to grow and learn from such as the overseas immersion programmes and competitions. Every lesson is enjoyable and fulfilling and I am very glad to be in Elevate Dance Acadamie with Ms Langley.

Each week he looks forward to the class & will share some moves that he learned when he gets home. Thanks for the opportunity to nurture his love for dancing!

My daughter got to know of Emerge through a classmate who's been a student of their for years. We just joined this year and I can see my daughter's love for the Performing arts blossoming steadily through the guidance of her coaches at Emerge. I’ve been taking Fusion Contemporary classes with Sharul since February this year, and it’s been such an inspiring journey. Sharul is a truly creative and original choreographer. Each class brings something new, both technically and emotionally.
What I really appreciate is how he always takes time at the end of every session to ask us for feedback and reflect on our takeaways, which helps us grow not just as dancers but as people.
Even though I only joined a few months before the recital in May, Sharul encouraged and supported me the whole way through. That experience was so meaningful, and it wouldn’t have been the same without his energy and belief in me.
Now, beyond being an amazing teacher, he feels like a friend that I can share my honest thoughts with. I’m so grateful to have found this space and community. Highly recommend his classes to anyone looking to dance with heart, intention, and creativity.
I have been attending Adult Contemporary Dance class taught by Emma for over a year now. Emma is so passionate about dance, full of energy, very encouraging and funny at times which makes her class really enjoyable. I also love her choreography which she changes once a month. This keeps the class interesting cos you'll never be bored going to her class. You'll learn new dance steps at every class and new choreography every month. Place is also centrally located & dance studios are clean too! ❤️❤️

Friendly teachers and staff. My child took her first music playgroup here since she’s 7 months old. Now she is taking piano lessons here. Creative Hearts offers different kinds of music learning classes that suit different age groups and music interests.
Started letting my daughter have kids on keys (basics to piano) lessons here before moving on to proper piano lessons. It was good cause she can start younger and now she’s able to sight read well. My daughter enjoys the lessons at creative hearts and we really appreciate the experience the year end concert has given her. Keep up the good work!
My daughter attended Creative Hearts Piano classes since she was 6 years old. She likes going for lessons and her teacher connects really well with her, which we felt was a plus point. To our delightful surprise, for her grade 1 (in person) ABRSM exam, she scored a distinction. ❤️ We are very thankful and attribute this to the nurturing and encouraging environment at the school.
Our children, 3 and 5 attended the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse camp in June and they really enjoyed themselves. They talked about what they learnt, even weeks later. Drop off was easy and the school is conveniently located. We appreciated photos and videos from the school which helped us know what the children learnt and could have conversations with them after the camp. The teacher student ratio was also good and the children had a good time. We look forward to joining more of the holiday programs!
My 2 kids and I really enjoy all our music lessons here. My son and I are currently taking individual piano lessons with Natalie while my daughter is taking group music classes. Natalie is very versatile and encourages us to learn the music we like while teaching useful skills. Most importantly we learn to appreciate music itself and have fun jamming together to our favourite pieces as a family. Also worth commending teachers Liyana, Yen Ling and Nadia for always encouraging our little daughter and putting up with her idiosyncrasies:)

my daughter had a great time at Centre Stage (East) for her birthday party led by MJ, who was engaging, high-energy and really thoughtful. all the children had so much fun and we are very happy with how everything was ran.
The classes are engaging, lively, and full of fun group activities that really help my kids open up. The school gives them great exposure to drama, and over the years I’ve watched their self-confidence grow so much.
The teachers are not only experienced and professional, but also genuinely caring. They know how to bring out each child’s strengths and make every lesson enjoyable.
Most importantly, my kids look forward to every class they have. So much fun learning and expressing themselves.
My daughters attended Centre Stage most of their lives, beginning when they were babies and ending in their late teens. The only reason they are no longer there is because our family left Singapore. Otherwise, we wouldn't even think about leaving Centre Stage. My girls sorely miss it now and always talk about it as one of the best parts of their time in Singapore. Centre Stage's close community is one of the reasons why we kept coming back every year. In the transient world of expat life, good friends come and go - which can be devastating. Centre Stage -- led by Pete and Ali, and flanked by many competent teachers -- feels like that fun, supportive, and trustworthy friend who is always on your side. Yet, it's not just about the warm and fuzzy. The school seriously helps students hone their skills in singing, dancing, and acting. They also encourage them to take healthy risks, to put themselves out there and to develop their confidence. I saw my girls transform from unsure, awkward kids to poised, fit, and more self-assured young women. I can't thank the school enough for helping me raise my children. It takes a village, and Centre Stage has been an indelible part of what has made our Singapore village AMAZING.
My husband and I were introduced to Centre Stage, by a good friend of mine and one of your wonderful staff, Annisaa. She’s been working with y’all for a while now and she reached out asking if we’d like to watch a show. It was Private Peaceful. Not going to lie, at first we were skeptical with it being a one man show, but after attending it earlier on today, I must say that it was just wonderful. The actor, Will Howard, brought all the characters to life and did it splendidly. The school itself should be praised by giving a fantastic and creative environment for kids in Singapore. Kudos to the teachers working there, there’s so much genuine passion and we are certain that the kids will flourish in such a beautiful environment.

Excellent simple small theatre that hosts small production. Came here for the children’s classic story of three little pigs. They did a wonderful job expanding on the characters. Especially the big bad wolf, definitely knocked it out of the park with its breaking the fourth wall performance. Bravo!
When hearing that im about to go on a learning journey, I was so excited to hear about this place as it was the first time here! I couldn't believe that this first time experience felt so amazing!
When I got into the place, I needed to wait in line as me and my classmates are gathered waiting to be called into the theatre room. When I got inside, it was huge! The seats were comfortable and I like how it folds! I also like how cold it is inside to get very comfortable at the same time watch a long performance!
The actors is what I want to comment about! They are every indeed the best actors I have ever seen! So natural at the same time funny! I respect how in the end they want q&a from the audience to share their experiences and not like ignoring the audience. These actors really need a raise!
I really hope that you can visit this place! This place is one of the best place to watch a performance! Bravo!!
Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) is a place that gives space for great performances.
There are two ways to enter SRT, one from the door that's beside all the bars and restaurants. You have to look up to find the banner. There's another entrance behind from the road that's near UE Square.
Once you enter into the theatre, the internet access is limited.
I can hear the sound of the actors and actresses clearly when I am seated at the last row (row Q) of the theatre. The effects of the lightings is also well projected. The moment when all the lights are turned off, it's pitch dark.
The stage is small but sufficient for the play we watched. The stage can accommodate an elevated platform for the actors and actresses to perform.
The toilet is clean with about 5-6 cubicles. There's also a water cooler for you to refill your water.
I enjoyed watching the play in SRT.
Nearest mrt is Fort Canning. You can also walk from Clarke Quay and City Hall mrt.

How to Choose the Best Musical Theatre Class for Your Child
Teacher experience: Review instructors’ backgrounds in acting, singing, dance, education and teaching the relevant age group.
Class approach: Consider whether lessons balance practical skill development, creative exploration and enjoyable participation for children.
Child readiness: Match the programme’s pace and expectations with your child’s confidence, independence and previous experience.
Training balance: Check how much class time covers singing, acting and movement rather than one discipline alone.
