Choosing among the Top 10 IP Mathematics Tuition Centres in Singapore can feel difficult when every IP school may sequence topics, assessments and extension work differently. A suitable class should address your child’s current curriculum while building the reasoning needed for unfamiliar, multi-step problems. Some children need close correction in a small group, while others may benefit from one-to-one guidance or school-specific teaching. Parents should also compare lesson pace, tutor experience, feedback, travel time and fees rather than relying on results claims alone. This guide examines IP Mathematics tuition options using practical details about teaching methods, subjects, class formats, locations and prices, helping families shortlist support that fits their child’s school demands and learning habits.
Key Takeaways
Effective IP Mathematics tuition should match the child’s school pace while strengthening conceptual reasoning, multi-step problem-solving and application to unfamiliar questions.
Class size, tutor feedback and school-specific alignment matter because IP curricula may differ in topic sequence, depth and assessment demands across schools.
Compare lesson format, location, fees and support between classes, since a convenient arrangement is easier to sustain alongside homework and CCA commitments.
MindFlex – Your Best Platform for IP Mathematics Home Tuition
Overview of Business
MindFlex Tuition Agency connects Singapore families with private tutors for personalised IP Mathematics tuition at home or online. Rather than following one fixed classroom curriculum, they match each child with a tutor according to school requirements, learning pace, timetable, location, budget and preferred tutor profile. This flexibility may matter in the Integrated Programme, where schools can differ in topic sequence, mathematical depth and assessment expectations. A tutor can concentrate on weak concepts, unpack multi-step solutions and align practice with the child’s immediate schoolwork. Families may request support for catching up, managing faster pacing or developing stronger reasoning for unfamiliar questions. With more than 50,000 active tutors in its network, MindFlex gives parents room to compare experience, availability and rates before deciding.
Why Parents Choose MindFlex?
Parents may choose MindFlex when their child needs individual attention rather than another large class with a fixed lesson pace. The free matching service can reduce the work involved in finding tutors familiar with IP Mathematics and particular school demands. Home and online arrangements may also save travel time during weeks crowded by CCA, projects and assessments. Families can review suggested profiles before committing, while coordinators are available seven days a week to assist with matching and arrangements.

1. Zenith Education Studio
Overview of the Business
Zenith Education Studio offers IP Math tuition alongside other Integrated Programme subjects at several locations across Singapore. Since 2019, the centre has taught more than 20,000 students across its broader programmes, with tutors described as MOE award winners, valedictorians and Dean’s List recipients. For IP Math, lessons follow each school’s pacing and topic placement, rather than assuming that every IP school teaches concepts in the same sequence. Classes combine clear conceptual teaching, structured practice and exam-focused techniques, which may support students coping with faster classroom lessons or unfamiliar application questions. Curated notes, consultations and online support offer guidance between classes as well. This approach may suit children who manage routine procedures confidently but find it harder to select and connect methods when solving multi-step problems.
Why Parents Choose Zenith Education Studio
Parents may consider Zenith Education Studio when their child needs support that follows the pace of their particular IP school more closely. Skills-focused coaching may address gaps in mathematical reasoning and application, rather than depending only on repeated question drilling. Personalised feedback, assessment reviews and consultations can help families understand whether marks are being lost through weak concepts, careless working or difficulty interpreting unfamiliar problems. Free trials, subject to lesson availability, also allow parents and children to assess the teaching fit before making a commitment.
If you asked me what it means to be a bubbly, food loving critic that is competent and skilled in teaching Chemistry, there’s only one name that comes to mind. OSN - Ong Shi Neng ☃️
Since the first lesson he has been relentless in ensuring quality education, good eats and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Chemistry in Zenith for the past 1.5 years have truly been like no other. The teachers are caring and helpful, reassuring us that we are prepared, organising 24 hour zooms the night before, just so we can feel a bit more secure the day before the exam. It is no surprise that he is one of Zenith’s most beloved tutors. #Notfreepromo Join Zenith for the most fun experience. Coming back to edit this review Once i bag that A! 🦦🦦🦦🦦
I attended Chenfang's E-Math classes from Sec 3 to 4 and it really was an amazing experience to be learning with her!
In Sec 4, I jumped from a C6 for Prelims to a B3 for O's, something I thought I wouldn't be able to achieve. Chenfang helped me to understand what my weak points were through weekly assessments and so I improved steadily. Her classes are also really fun since she makes sure that we are not just studying but enjoying the process! The worksheets at Zenith also helped a lot as there were many diverse types of questions that helped with gradual and thorough understanding, with extras for practice at home! The snacks were also a real help for staying focused in class 🙂
I joined Nick's class in sec 3 for physics and he has helped me get good grades for physics throughout my upper sec and eventually get a1 for o levels. Without Nick I do not think I would have achieved such a good score. He is a very good teacher and makes lessons feel fun and explains concepts very well, I have not been lost or confused once in his lessons throughout my two years with him. I look forward to his classes every week and he made me fall in love with physics.😍😍 He also helps me with physics questions outside of lesson time when I whatsapp him especially when I was preparing for my exams.👍👍👍
I attended Nicholas Koh’s classes when I realised I was failing Chemistry and Physics in my Sec 3 WA2s. He helped pull my grades up from an F9 to an A2 for my O Levels! I truly appreciate his help so much. He is understanding, yet he also challenges me and strongly believes in my potential. His lessons are unlike those of other tutors who simply spoon-feed information instead, he makes sure new concepts are thoroughly drilled into your head so you truly understand them. Thank you Nick you genuinely changed my life. You’re the best!
I was a J2 student taking H2 physics under duncan!! Duncan is honestly one of the best physics tutors I’ve ever had. He answers my questions incredibly fast and always makes sure I fully understand the concepts before moving on. You can tell he really puts in the effort. tbh it feels like he works around the clock just to help his students. He’s super helpful, patient, and you can clearly see that he genuinely loves what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve in physics!
Because of laychuns lessons, I feel more confident in econs and I have improved in applying concepts on my own. He is patient, encouraging and genuinely wants his students to do better. Lessons are productive and I always end up learning something useful.
Shi neng has made chem very fun and enjoyable for me, this has made chem seem so much easier in school. He explains concepts very clearly and his lessons are very engaging!
Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who wants to improve and understand the subject better.
Shi Neng chemistry class is so good. Like everyone around me keeps saying chemistry is so hard and honestly I did find Chem hard before joining zenith Chem. However, after I went for June trial for energetics I realised how simple Chem is. Especially he helped me so much in organiche Chem by covering all the foundations and the small tiny details! I rlly recommend this class and I have gotten A /B throughout the time I have been with zenith. It’s also very fun cause he has a sense of humour HAHA !
My time at zenith has been really wonderful and really enjoyable. My chemistry tutor , Shi Neng has been really helpful at helping me understand H2 chemistry and making the journey more fun and bearable. Even with simple and obvious questions , Shi Neng has always been patient and really helpful with explaining chemistry concepts! Even with welfare he has always been very generous and thoughtful. TLDR he is a very thoughtful teacher and I wish I would have joined earlier 😭😭 676767

The Math Guy provides online, school-specific IP Mathematics tuition for students from IP Year 1 to IP Year 4. Classes are organised by both school and year, rather than combining children following different topic orders, pacing and assessment styles. Current groups cover several IP schools, while each live Zoom class is capped at six students. Shared digital whiteboards allow tutors to watch each learner’s working unfold, including hesitation, false starts and errors that a final answer might conceal. Tutors diagnose gaps through practice, explain the underlying idea concisely and retest understanding during the same lesson. This approach may suit children who need close mathematical feedback and precise alignment with schoolwork, while families should confirm that a suitable school-specific group and timeslot currently has space.
Why Parents Choose The Math Guy?
Parents may choose The Math Guy when curriculum alignment is more important than attending a large general IP class. Grouping by school and year can reduce the risk of lessons running ahead in irrelevant topics or revising material too late. The six-student cap and visible digital working may help tutors catch reasoning errors before they become repeated habits. Online delivery also removes travel time, although the child needs sufficient focus and willingness to show working actively during each one-hour session.
Subjects Offered
IP Math (IP Year 1-4)
IP Sciences: Biology, Chemistry (IP Year 3-4)
Teaching Methodology
School-specific grouping follows relevant topic sequences, helping students practise Mathematics that connects directly with current classroom learning.
Six-student classes allow closer observation, giving quieter learners more opportunities to receive questions and individual correction.
Shared digital whiteboards expose each reasoning step, enabling tutors to identify misconceptions before students submit final answers.
Practice questions diagnose underlying gaps, while immediate retesting checks whether explanations have produced genuine understanding.
Concise explanations focus attention on key reasoning, helping students avoid becoming overwhelmed by unnecessarily lengthy solution methods.
Location and Availability
Lessons are conducted live through Zoom, with school-specific classes scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday. Availability depends on the child’s school, IP year and remaining spaces.
Price Range
Fees range from $200 monthly for IP Year 1 to $260 monthly for IP Year 4, covering four one-hour lessons without registration or material charges.
Future Academy offers small-group IP Mathematics tuition from IP Year 1 to IP Year 4 through onsite, hybrid and live online lessons. Founded in 2015, it is led by former top-school educators Ms Yvonne Chen and Mr Jason Lau, who bring substantial Mathematics teaching experience. Classes have a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of one to six, creating space for tutors to inspect working and respond before errors become habits. IP Mathematics lessons use organised notes, school-aligned pacing, proof-based reasoning and challenging application questions. This may benefit children who understand formulas but struggle to justify steps, recognise hidden relationships or organise a complete solution independently. The centre also publishes an IP Mathematics assessment-book series, reflecting a sustained focus on the depth and reasoning expected within the Integrated Programme.
Why Parents Choose Future Academy?
Parents may choose Future Academy when their child needs close guidance without losing the discussion and peer learning found in a group. The small class cap may make it easier for tutors to notice hesitation, incomplete reasoning and careless algebra during lessons. School-aligned pacing is relevant because IP schools may cover topics in different orders or at different depths. Hybrid flexibility and support between lessons may also help families maintain continuity during demanding periods of projects, assessments and CCA commitments.
Ms Chen is very knowledgeable, super responsible and supportive towards my son’s learning journey in Math.Highly recommended to the students who needs guidance and support in Math
My tutor is nice caring and supportive and she’s a very good teacher and help brush up my math. She goes the extra mile in guiding me. Highly recommended.
I go to tuition here for Math lessons. Ms Yvonne Chen is very helpful and patient with her students and always stops to ensure everyone understands the content fully before continuing. Under her guidance and help my math results have steadily improved and i strongly recommend anyone looking for tuition to attend Future Academy.
I attended class here when my GPA for math was very bad. In Y2 I managed to get a 4.0 after one year of lessons! Very grateful for the entertaining and enriching lessons. There is also good use of digital tools to enhance learning, even if one cannot make it physically, they are able to attend the lesson online in a way that is equally educational.
It is amazing, the teachers are great there and I really enjoyed it. I really recommend it because it helped me with my math a lot and it is a very good place to learn. I think it was very good that I chose to go here because it was so worth it. I felt very safe and I could ask any question, and they would help explain how to get to the answers. I think that it was very amazing that they print sheets for you to work on based on what your doing and I think that was a thing I had never seen before. I think they have amazing teachers and the teachers would sit down with you and explain each question you did not understand. It really helped me improve in math and I think it got me more confident in myself and not wondering if I was right, and instead knowing I am right. It was really great and I think Ms. Chen is a great teacher.
Excellent and all-rounded tuition centre. Provides tuition of a variety of subjects with highly dedicated and amazing teachers! They are extremely helpful and do their best to help you whatever problem you have. Indigo Education Centre is an MOE-registered organisation established in 2011, offering IP Mathematics tuition from IP Year 1 to IP Year 4. Its Mathematics lessons align with each student’s school and pace, an important distinction because Integrated Programme curricula may vary in sequence and depth. Concept-based instruction progresses through tiered questions, real-world contexts and independent practice, supported by video solutions, consultations and online help. This structure may suit students who require demanding work but still need guidance bridging routine exercises and unfamiliar applications. Indigo operates six locations across Singapore and also offers online lesson availability, giving families several timetable and travel options. Termly reviews and broader parent support may appeal to those who want clearer progress discussions rather than relying only on school test scores.
Why Parents Choose Indigo Education Centre?
Parents may consider Indigo Education Centre when school-specific pacing and extensive support resources are priorities. Tiered practice can help students move from secure foundations towards harder IP Mathematics applications without being pushed into questions they are not ready to analyse. Consultations, video solutions and online help may be useful when doubts appear during homework rather than inside scheduled class time. With six branches, families can also weigh teaching fit against travel time, especially when weekday school and CCA schedules are already demanding.

The Learning Lab has offered academic programmes in Singapore since 2001, supporting IP learners from secondary 1 to secondary 4. For families comparing IP Math tuition centres in Singapore, its lessons combine syllabus alignment, conceptual understanding, exam skills and real-world applications. More than 40 curriculum specialists research, write, edit and design lesson materials, while the TLL Method guides learners to encode, retrieve and apply knowledge. This approach may suit IP students who can manage familiar examples but find it harder to apply concepts to unfamiliar, multi-step questions. With 300 teachers across ten locations, The Learning Lab may appeal to families who value greater choice when arranging lessons around school and other commitments. As IP schools may follow different curriculum sequences and assessment depths, parents should check whether a class suits their teen’s school, year and current Math topics.
Why Parents Choose The Learning Lab?
Parents may consider The Learning Lab when their teen needs structured Math support rather than repeated worksheet practice alone. Lessons include higher-order thinking, analysis and substantial practice, helping students build reasoning skills instead of simply memorising separate procedures. In-house notes, formula booklets and immediate-feedback quizzes can also provide useful revision anchors when school lessons move quickly. Smaller classes are available at Serene Centre for secondary and Junior College learners, which may give quieter teens more chances to ask questions and work through mistakes.
My child changed his class times and hence teacher mid way through the term and got Mr John Anthony as his English teacher. Mr Anthony is detailed, connects with parents to provide valuable feedback for improvements and my child likes him too. Unfortunately Mr Anthony is leaving but we highly appreciate his time as English teacher for my child.
My P4 son has had the privilege to be taught English by Mr John Anthony, an exceptional teacher. From the very first lesson, our son shared that he never felt rushed nor discouraged when things were difficult, and that Mr Anthony always took the time to explain concepts clearly and at a comfortable pace. What truly set Mr Anthony apart was his ability to make every lesson genuinely fun and enjoyable; our son would come home excited to share what he had learned, which, as any parent knows, is no small feat. Beyond keeping lessons engaging, he had a remarkable talent for motivating our son to push past his comfort zone and strive to do better — not through pressure, but through encouragement and belief in his potential. The progress we have seen has been tremendous, and we have no doubt that it is a direct reflection of his dedication and passion for teaching. We are deeply grateful for everything he has done.
My kid attending teacher John Anthony English lesson. He enjoys so much and look forward to attend every lesson. Teacher Anthony is very kind and respond to my questions promptly. A very nice and thoughtful teacher in TLL
We are incredibly thankful to Mr John Anthony from The Learning Lab for his dedication and passion in teaching English. His engaging lessons and thoughtful guidance have not only helped build strong language skills but have also nurtured confidence and a love for learning. Thank you, Mr John, for your unwavering commitment and for making such a positive difference in your students' learning journey.
Teacher John Anthony is a very kind and helpful educator. He knows exactly how to guide children to make steady progress step by step. His classes are absolutely worth attending — his engaging and lively teaching style motivates students to learn in a joyful and positive environment. My daughter really likes him a lot!
I’m deeply thankful to my son’s teacher, John, who consistently goes the extra mile. He keeps a close eye on my son’s progress, ensures he stays attentive in class, and updates me promptly. Just before we left for the holidays, he even took the time to teach my son how to pack his bag properly and instil the importance of good habits such as keeping his files and bag neat and organised.
Ms Siu Yan is one of the best teachers in TLL. My child achieved an AL1 in the PSLE Science exam thanks to the teacher’s guidance. ms Siu Yan is extremely patient and meticulous, and the teaching methods are engaging and effective. My child loves the Science lessons very much.
My children attended English and Science classes at The Learning Lab Marine Parade, and I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for two outstanding teachers: Mr Koh Rongming (English) and Ms Ng Siu Yan (Science).
English and Science used to be my elder kid’s weakest subjects, but under their guidance, she scored AL1 for both in PSLE — something we never imagined possible.
Mr Koh is incredibly engaging and humorous. His lessons are never boring, and he has a unique way of making even difficult concepts easy to understand.
Ms Ng is extremely responsible and dedicated. Her explanations are always clear, structured, and easy for students to grasp.
Both teachers demonstrate a high level of professionalism and genuine care for their students. My child absolutely loves learning from them, and we are truly grateful for their hard work and commitment.
That said, their classes are always in high demand and often fully booked. I secretly wish my younger kid will still be able to get a place with them. A small part of me hesitated to share this review — but great teachers deserve recognition, and people should know about them.
Mrs Low, the Science SH at Parkway Parade, has made an extraordinary impact on my child’s learning journey. She brings Science to life in the classroom and has guided him with dedication and purpose towards achieving his PSLE Science goals.
Her firm yet supportive approach has taught him the value of responsibility—ensuring that every assignment is completed to the best of his ability and that mistakes are embraced as opportunities to learn. She also made extra mile to update me of his progress and areas of improvement.
Even though the early morning supplementary lessons can be challenging for students, Mrs Low’s warmth and generosity shine through. Her thoughtful gesture of providing her students with sumptuous breakfast, coupled with her engaging and lively lessons, has made them look forward to attending with genuine eagerness.
We are deeply grateful for her passion, commitment, and care.
The Learning Lab is the best tuition center we have our kid enrolled to. He has tried different tuition centers during his primary school but settled at TLL(Marine Parade). The teachers are very enthusiastic and always go the extra mile to update parents on the child’s strength and weaknesses, learning progress and how they can improve on. We would strongly recommend TLL to parents who wants their child to improve their grades and learning in academics.

Orion Tuition Centre is an MOE-registered centre providing IP Mathematics tuition from IP Year 1 to IP Year 4 through group classes and private coaching. Its programme concentrates on foundations, core topics, regular assessment and calibrated revision rather than exposing students to difficult questions without sufficient preparation. This may help learners whose school pace has moved ahead while essential algebraic or problem-solving skills remain uncertain. Classes are available physically at Toa Payoh and Yishun, with live online attendance providing another route when travel or scheduling becomes difficult. Tutors also offer Zoom or WhatsApp support, allowing questions to be addressed beyond the weekly lesson. Parents can consider group tuition for a regular class routine or one-to-one coaching when the child requires more individual pacing and targeted correction.
Why Parents Choose Orion Tuition Centre?
Parents may shortlist Orion Tuition Centre for its choice between group teaching, live online attendance and private coaching. Regular assessments can expose whether repeated mistakes come from a weak concept, rushed working or difficulty applying methods in a new setting. The private option may suit students whose IP school sequence differs considerably from a general class timetable. Support through Zoom or WhatsApp can also reduce the frustration of leaving a difficult homework question unresolved until the next scheduled lesson.
Super thankful to Ms Celia for helping me with Math since Y3, I managed to secure an A for my A Levels! Her lessons and notes were super useful and effective in helping me understand the topics. She is also always patient and readily available whenever I need help.
At first before I joined, my math results were quite bad as my concepts were very weak. However, after joining the classes, my concepts slowly improved and my results had overall improved. Would highly recommend coming for classes as it was really enlightening.
Mr. Anthony was an exceptional support throughout my IB Physics HL journey. His clear explanations, patience, and structured approach helped me significantly improve my understanding and performance in the subject. He has a great ability to break down complex concepts into manageable ideas and always made sure I truly understood the material. I’m extremely grateful for his guidance.
Mr. Anthony and Ms. Agnes are truly the most passionate and caring tutors I have ever met. They are experts in their fields—A-Level Physics and Math (Mr. Anthony) and Chemistry (Ms. Agnes).
Their materials are clear, comprehensive, and perfectly aligned with the GCE A-Level syllabus. What truly sets them apart is their approachability; they genuinely listen to students and adapt their teaching methods to fit individual learning styles. This allows them to effectively support students across different academic levels.
Personally, as a private candidate retaking my A-Levels, their notes and practices were crucial. Even without a school environment, they helped pace my studies and kept my motivation high throughout the year. They transformed my learning experience by breaking down complex topics into digestible concepts, shifting my focus from route memorization to true understanding.
My tuition mates from school settings also found that the lessons cleared up their misconceptions, making their school lectures much easier to follow and allowing them to excel in their exams. I highly recommend Orion Tuition to any student—whether you are a school candidate aiming for a breakthrough or a private candidate needing professional, structured support.
The tutors at Orion are top-notch, and were able to push me beyond what I would have achieved on my own. Teacher Anthony, who taught me both H2 Math and H2 Physics, taught the subject topic by topic, and within each topic, clearly demarcated various question types, and gave practices on each individual question, with clear steps on how to solve the question type. Such steps could be replicated to similar questions without much thought, proving the efficiency of the guides provided. Moreover, when it came to Physics, “standard” questions were demarcated and answers to them were highlighted. Upon memorization of these answers, when said questions appeared in the exam, it was a simple task for regurgitating the answer out, including in the actual A level. Moreover, through his observation in lessons and out, he would ask students who are weaker in general or at one topic to come down for extra lessons, where he would give them practices to do, and give the student feedback, and guidance on how to do said topics. I was personally one of those he asked to come down for extra lessons, in which he personally coached me one on one with topics that I was weak in. In the lead up to the actual A level, Anthony would predict topics that would come out and send us sample questions to look through, along with the answers to those question, among which some actually appeared in the A level. Ms Agnes was my Chemistry tutor for H2 and IP3-4 Chemistry. Coming in, I was failing Chemistry. However, after the guidance and the personalized lesson plans, my grades did jump to an A. Ms Agnes is a very attentive tutor, who is able to answer any of my doubts, and coached me one on one on how to improve. Heading into JC2, Ms Agnes saw that my Organic Chemistry was the weaker part of my knowledge, and pointed out what I had to memorize, and even provided materials to help me in this part. With this, my grades improved throughout JC2 and even managed to score well in the organic chemistry portion of my prelims. With regards to teaching, Ms Agnes is engaging, and manages to pinpoint clear steps on how to solve a problem. Barring any complex math, Ms Agnes clearly pointed out how to solve a troublesome question, and by following these steps, most questions of similar type are able to be solved. In the lead up to the A level, Ms Agnes was willing to help me mark my TYS, from which I could see a clear steady improvement, from barely passing in July, to achieving a good grade in late October. Upon which, she would go through the paper with me, pointing out any mistakes I had, and telling me my common mistakes that I unfortunately had made, which I would then improve on, to which the next time a similar question appeared, I would get it correct. Ms Agnes would also help to predict questions, to which they actually came out during the A level exam, allowing me to breeze through said questions with ease. All in all, the A level team at Orion is excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of help for their A level track for Physics, Chemistry and Math

Mathathon provides IP Mathematics tuition across IP Year 1 to IP Year 4, with separate teaching details for the lower and upper IP years. Led by Eve Tan, who has more than ten years of Mathematics teaching experience, the programme emphasises conceptual understanding, logical reasoning and problem-solving rather than rote memorisation. IP Year 1-2 lessons use differentiated support to establish mathematical thinking, while IP Year 3-4 teaching adjusts pace around individual strengths and weaknesses. This distinction may matter when older students encounter deeper applications after coping adequately with more procedural work in earlier years. Complex ideas are broken into manageable stages and linked with prior knowledge or practical contexts. Families seeking a physical East Coast option may appreciate the consistent location, while a free first trial offers a low-pressure way to observe teaching fit.
Why Parents Choose Mathathon?
Parents may consider Mathathon if their child needs patient concept-building before being pushed towards harder IP Mathematics applications. Differentiated teaching can support students who progress unevenly, such as those strong in algebra but less confident interpreting unfamiliar problems. Eve Tan’s Mathematics background and substantial teaching experience may reassure families seeking subject-focused instruction. The one-time free trial is also useful for observing explanation style, lesson pace and whether the child feels comfortable asking questions before a longer commitment.
My teacher, Ms Tan is really patient and helpful when it comes to teaching A-Math. She’s helped gain a deeper understanding of math and helped me secure an A1 for it. Highly recommend:)
Ms Tan is a passionate and engaging Math teacher, who truly makes learning enjoyable. Her ability to explain concepts clearly and motivate her students, has helped both of my children develop greater confidence and interest in the subject. They genuinely look forward to their lessons at Mathathon. The learning environment is a very comfortable and supportive space. Mathathon provides a free space for students to relax in or complete their work assignments etc. before and after lessons. Since attending Mathathon under Ms Tan’s guidance, my children’s attitude towards Math has improved significantly. Most notably, my son showed tremendous progress — improving from AL4 in Primary 4 to achieving AL1 for Math in the PSLE. We are very grateful to Ms Tan for her dedication, patience and effective teaching approach. I would highly recommend her and Mathathon to parents looking for a positive learning environment and real results for their children.
Teacher Eve is a blessing to kids who struggles with Maths throughout their education. Not only does she makes Maths less daunting for the kids, her gentle and patient way of teaching allows the kids to want to do better on their own. She truly wants the best for them and it shows in her dedication. Would highly recommend to any parent that is looking for a reliable Maths tutor !
Mathathon has helped my daughter gain confidence and enjoy math a bit more, as she previously would be very negative and switch off from even trying. Their method allows fun but still effective and she is now motivated to learn and work on math. It is such a patient and nurturing environment . Of course her results have improved as a result of the confidence and motivation . Highly recommended !

Studious Minds offers IP Mathematics tuition through small-group lessons led by Ms Jes Peh, who has more than 13 years of relevant teaching experience. The programme uses systematic instruction, in-house notes, varied examination questions and customised lesson planning to address differing mathematical needs. Classes are kept small, with the broader centre model describing groups of six to eight students and personalised attention for misconceptions or questions. This may suit students who need their working examined closely rather than receiving corrections only after completing an entire worksheet. Progressive teaching recalls earlier learning and connects it with current or future topics, which is particularly relevant when later IP Mathematics builds quickly on prior concepts. Physical lessons at United House and Zoom-based Home-based Learning provide families with two attendance formats.
Why Parents Choose Studious Minds?
Parents may choose Studious Minds for its small groups, experienced Mathematics tutor and support that continues beyond normal lesson time. WhatsApp consultations can help students resolve doubts during independent work, rather than carrying a misconception into the next topic. Systematic notes and varied questions may also benefit those who know individual formulas but struggle to decide which ideas a problem requires. Families can compare physical and Zoom formats, while a free trial offers an opportunity to assess participation, explanation style and pace.
Ms Jes and Mr Alex are passionate teachers who also support and encourage their students. Under their guidance and teaching, my chemistry and mathematics grades improved. Thank you Ms Jes and Mr Alex!
teacher jes is a really good and patient teacher. she helped me pull my emath and amath up from both f9 to both A2 in o levels. she explains in a way that everyone can understand and also keeps checking in on every student during lessons, ensuring that everyone can catch up with the lesson and gets the help that they need.
Mr Alex is one of the best chemistry teachers I have ever had. He is very well versed with the IB syllabus and will tell you exactly where you went wrong and how you need to improve. Mr Alex is a very dedicated teacher who always wants his students to succeed. I enjoyed all my classes with him thoroughly.
Mr Alex kindly agreed to help my daughter, who was really struggling with Chem and helped her to catch up quickly. He gives clear and concise explanations. He made it easy for her to understand difficult topics. He is a hardworking teacher and gives his all in teaching. Mr Alex also shows care and concern for his students.
Mr Alex, Thank you for your incredible support and dedication in guiding my daughter through her A-level Chemistry journey. Your patience, expertise, and encouragement have guided her learning and confidence. We are deeply grateful for all the effort you’ve put in to help her succeed. Thank you very much. Simply Education began as a Mathematics learning hub in Tampines in 2003 and now serves Integrated Programme students from three Singapore locations. Its regular IP offering includes Mathematics from IP Year 1 to IP Year 4, alongside several other explicitly supported IP subjects. Lessons follow a student-centred and structured approach that identifies strengths, addresses gaps and reinforces concepts through guided practice. For IP Mathematics learners, this combination may be useful when faster classroom pacing has left earlier ideas shaky, even though current homework appears manageable. Regular assessments, practice problems and feedback can reveal whether mistakes arise from weak understanding, incomplete working or poor question interpretation. Experienced Mathematics tutors and an established classroom model may appeal to parents who prefer consistent face-to-face routines rather than fully independent online study.
Why Parents Choose Simply Education?
Parents may consider Simply Education for its long operating history, classroom structure and emphasis on personalised support within regular lessons. Interactive examples can help children understand why a method works, instead of copying procedures that fail when IP questions change form. Assessments and progress tracking may give families clearer evidence of persistent gaps before school tests arrive. With branches in eastern, north-eastern and central Singapore, the programme may also reduce travel strain for families living near its established locations.
I would like to convey my sincerest thanks to the following tutors for their dedication in tutoring my sons these past years. These tutors are 1. Mr Foong 2. Ms Low 3. Ms Agnes
Mr Foong taught my eldest son, A, from 2011 to 2017. He taught him Science (pri sch) and Physics (sec sch). Mr Foong also taught my youngest son, H, from 2019 to 2025, both Sc and Physics too. My Foong is a very patient tutor who teaches with dedication. His love for the subject can be seen and felt in his lessons. Both my sons love Physics and it is evident from the results they attained in their O level exams. I have since recommended My Foong to other colleagues who are looking for a Physics tutor. Thank you, My Foong, for all that you do.
Ms Low also taught Chemistry to both my sons. Ms Low is also a very dedicated tutor who goes the extra mile to conduct extra lessons to students who need the extra push. Not only that, she communicates with the parents, updating them with regards to their child's progress. Her nagging and persistence has truly paid off. My younger son started lessons with her after attaining a failing grade at the end of Sec 3. And at the end of Sec 4, my son attained a distinction at O levels. Thank you, Ms Low, for all that you do.
Ms Agnes taught my younger son Math (pri sch) and E Math (sec sch). Her dedication in teaching the subject is commendable. She gives ample practice and it kept my son busy practising Math. He started to love the subject and it was evident in his results, attaining distinctions at almost every test and exam. Thank you, Ms Agnes, for all that you do.
Ms Low has the best chemistry notes for both Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Her tips regarding exam preparations as well as how to excel in certain topics , definitely helped me a lot with H2 chemistry!
the teachers here are kind, very committed and do their best to help us with any questions we have. with my chem tutor's -ms low's- help, i was able to go from a failing student to getting an A2 in O levels. despite joining the class last-minute, when O levels was just around the corner, she put in effort by texting me frequently to see if i understood the topics well and asnwered any questions i had for her. she made sure i understood earlier concepts by offering lesson videos which helped give me a deeper and clearer understanding as well as offered additional lessons to help catch up with the other students. she ensures that her students keep up well with the class by randomly calling on them to answer questions, and also texts us long messages to brief us on O levels and post-secondary education, so that we know what to expect. (she even held a Q&A session about tertiary education). she occasionally went through JC-level questions related to sec 4 topics so that we could have a deeper understanding about the sec 4 topic, and also know what to expect in JC chemistry.
My teachers at Simply Education have been nothing less than supportive and encouraging throughout my jc journey. I have been struggling with both math and chem despite consultations and extra classes with my teachers. However, after attending classes at Simply, i have a better grasp of the syllabus and saw improvement! more importantly, i felt confident and encouraged to give the subjects a second try.
Took chemistry lessons since secondary school till JC with Ms Low and she has helped me improve tremendously and even made me like chemistry altogether. She is efficient in her teaching and goes the extra mile to help her students. She also pushes her student to work harder to achieve better grades.
Ms Low was very detailed in her teaching and helped me get A for chem A levels! My favourite thing about her style of teaching is she exposes us to many alternate and effective ways of problem solving and i was definitely able to use these methods during my actual exams. Shes also very helpful outside of class and entertained the multitude of questions i had for her, aiding in me understanding the subject to a better degree. Fast- paced lessons as well helps to keep u from ever feeling sleepy during tuition. Thnks Ms Low🤟🤟

How to Choose the Best IP Mathematics Tuition for Your Child?
The best IP Mathematics tuition depends on how well the programme matches your child’s present gaps, school curriculum and willingness to participate. A familiar name or impressive result claim does not automatically mean the lesson pace and feedback style will suit every learner. Consider the following points before committing to a term or package.
Match lessons to the school curriculum, because IP schools may teach topics in different sequences, depths and assessment periods across each academic year.
Identify your child’s actual mathematical difficulty, whether your child lacks concepts, misreads application questions, makes careless errors or cannot organise multi-step working clearly.
Observe the teaching approach carefully, checking whether explanations develop reasoning and flexible application rather than encouraging dependence on fixed templates or memorised procedures.
Compare tutor access and class size, since quieter learners may require direct questioning, visible working checks and regular opportunities to clarify misunderstandings.
Balance location, schedule and total fees, so tuition remains sustainable alongside schoolwork, CCA commitments, rest and family routines throughout the term.
Use reviews as supporting evidence, while giving greater weight to programme fit, tutor experience, trial observations and your child’s response after lessons.
A suitable IP Mathematics tuition centre should make your child’s reasoning more independent, not merely increase the number of worksheets completed each week. Where possible, use a trial lesson to assess pace, explanation quality and interaction. Review progress after several weeks through schoolwork, confidence and error patterns, then adjust the arrangement if the support remains poorly aligned.
