A bit bias, every time I see dog friendly facilities, I'll give five stars. So far I have never seen a dog friendly religious place and it really nice that they allow pets. I hope pet owners are responsible so that it remains that way.
The place is clean and always has seasonal event, although I was there as a passive visitor and my relative only pays short visits, we never felt pestered or patronized which is another good thing about this place.
You can take a bus 901M from Admiralty MRT station (bus stop beside Kampong Admiralty not the one at the MRT) and go back with the same bus with only a short walking distance away. It has parking facility as well although I am not sure if it's bike friendly.

During Vesak Day, the temple is usually lively but still feels orderly and respectful. The arrangements are well managed, and the flow of visitors is smooth even when it gets crowded. The volunteers and staff are friendly, patient, and helpful, which makes the visit more comfortable, especially for families and elderly visitors.
We appreciate the peaceful environment, the beautiful decorations, and the opportunity to take part in the Vesak Day activities. It is a good reminder to slow down, reflect, and be grateful. The place is also clean and well maintained, and you can feel the effort put in by the temple team to create a positive and meaningful experience for everyone.
Overall, Fo Guang Shan is a wonderful place to visit, especially during Vesak Day. It is peaceful, well organised, family-friendly, and meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to pray, reflect, and experience the spirit of Vesak Day in a calm and respectful environment.
That said, it is a beautiful and serene temple, decorated with many adorable little monk statues outside. I still visit during certain Buddhist festivals, but there is always a lingering sense of unease whenever I do visit.
You are advised to take mrt also. It is near (walking distance around 8 to 10min) punggol mrt station.
It is quiet and serious place. You can also see some history of Fo Guang Shan and the founder Tsing Yun master in the building. Total got 4 floors and 2 underground floors.
It is a good place to visit. Suggested to come and visit.
Visit the Sutra calligraphy hall in level two, writing stoke provided by the temple, really make you focus and stay calm.

My first impression was how peaceful and pleasant the venue was. Tranquility at its best.
Classes were very well ran by the Chief Thai Monk (Mandarin speaking) and their dedicated volunteers. While classes were set in a Thai Buddhist centre, students come from all walks of life (all religion) and everyone is welcome to learn to mediate better at no cost.
Efforts were also put in by volunteers to prepare small bites and beverage during break time.
There were also sharing about how to live your life better during the class which were much appreciated 😊
