Digital Art classes give children a practical way to combine drawing, storytelling and creative technology. Depending on the programme, learners may explore Procreate, animation, digital painting, character design, comics or 3D modelling. Singapore parents can compare structured weekly Digital Art courses, short workshops, online lessons and broader art programmes that include digital media. The right choice should suit a child’s age, experience, interests and preferred learning environment. This guide covers 10 Digital Art centres in Singapore, with business overviews, Google reviews, locations, prices and contact details to help parents find a suitable class.
1. Visual Arts Centre

All required materials are supplied, so beginners can focus on building fundamental techniques. Established in 2016 with Singapore Government support, the centre provides professional guidance in beginner-friendly studios and encourages art appreciation and skill development across different age groups.

They have really cute items and they gave us a voucher as they know that we enjoys art alot!. they have oil painting and have materials provided and alot of interesting lessons for kids between 5-9Years old and for teenagers like me too which it is very nice! there is one at chinatown and Dhoby Ghaut.
during the heritage fest outlet is really nice, they have ample tables for us to use during watercolour painting
The two complimentary classes of foundational tree drawing and urban sketching is highly recommended for many beginners who have little or no background. This was given in response that the culture credits urban sketching class is not suitable for people who want to learn art in depth.
The teacher Wu is very patient, explains the strokes through words and demonstrations, and there is sufficient room for executing the techniques on the spot.
Materials are provided on the spot, trees of various shapes are practiced. Also, a few buildings and some techniques were tried out.
There is also motivation to apply the techniques and the application is doable.
However, sometimes the teacher can be really busy so it can help to remind the teacher that I am done so that the teacher doesn’t take too long to come back to me.
Also, the centre is pretty busy so they might not always reply promptly. I suggest that expanding research outside is crucial, such as pertaining to what type of markers or canvas to get etc.
Overall, I think this class is worth recommending to complete beginners and people with little background to go in depth and also have fun.
Through SG culture pass I took an incredibly enjoyable sketching class with the Visual Arts Centre. There were a couple of other attendees in the class with me and I was supervised by the attending artist instructor, Jade. She has an encouraging teaching style and made gentle tactful suggestions on how to improve my eye, how to hold the pencils, hatch lines, discern the contours of shadows, and proportion the objects in the fore and background. I was able to produce a sketch that both she and I were satisfied with! All materials were provided which made it a convenient class. The environment was air conditioned and there was classical music playing in the background. Meditative and nourishing for the soul.
Just completed an incredible creative learning journey art tour in Manila led by Jeffrey and lola, and I couldn't be more impressed!
Both of them were exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate, bringing the local art scene to life with their insights and enthusiasm. The tour was perfectly paced - we had ample time at each location to truly appreciate the artwork without feeling rushed. I particularly loved learning about the stories behind the pieces and how they beautifully reflect Filipino culture and history. Jeffrey and lola's expertise really enhanced our understanding of the contemporary art movement in the Philippines.
Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply curious about Manila's vibrant creative scene, this tour is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the culture. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Filipino contemporary art and several new favourite artists to follow.
Fantastic Calligraphy and ink painting class with WU . Beautiful Professional and kind staff. I had a wonderful morning . There was a great Ceramics Exhibition next door .Thank you so much. Emer

My child was very happy doing art there. I peep a few times. Was glad to see that she didn't throw tantrum and was responsible for her artwork such as drying it up with a hair dryer.
We’re very thankful to Artlette Thomson for being part of my daughter’s journey since Primary 1. Over the years, we’ve seen steady improvement in her artistic skills and confidence. The teachers are patient, encouraging, and truly care about nurturing each child’s creativity. My daughter always enjoys her lessons, and we really appreciate the supportive and inspiring environment.
Teacher Pearlyn is very skilled, patient and artistic. She has conducted the lesson very well such that I truly enjoy every moment of learning water colour with her. I am very happy and satisfied with the artwork that Teacher Pearlyn has taught me.
I used the culture pass to sign up for a watercolor painting lesson. It's 2.5 hours and we can choose to do one A4 art piece or two smaller ones following samples shown to us. The instructor Pearlyn was very attentive, patient and encouraging. I enjoyed the session very much.
Jos was a great artist. She showed us all the different techniques and skills work not only to just to paint but create an almost a perfect piece for each of us. She is so patient and creative. She understood each of our strength and weaknesses. Must try for everyone...a great relaxing afternoon for my whole family.

My daughter has been with Artgrain for more than a year now. She started at the Bukit Timah branch and has recently moved to the Jurong East branch.
She has been learning from Tr Jiahui, and we are really happy with her. Tr Jiahui is very engaging and encouraging, and she always gives my daughter the space to express her own creativity. I can see that my daughter has become more confident in her drawings and, most importantly, she really enjoys going for her art class.
We also appreciate that even after moving to the Jurong East branch, she can continue learning with Tr Jiahui. It has been a really good experience for us so far, and we are happy to continue with Artgrain. Thank you, Tr Jiahui, for making art so enjoyable for her! 😊
Since starting her art classes a few months ago, my daughter has grown so much under Teacher Jai Hui’s guidance. Teacher Jai Hui is remarkably patient and supportive. My daughter truly loves the lessons and eagerly counts down the days to each class!
My daughter has been with Artgrain for almost a year, and I really like the way their classes are held. Although there is a structured syllabus, the teachers highly encourage creativity, so students have more input for their creations, rather than producing the exact same pieces of art as other students. The children have the chance to come up with their own ideas based on their preferences and opinions.
Different mediums are used, and the students will have occasional lessons that let them try other kinds of craft, so the students do get a range of experiences.
The lessons are flexible, as students are not limited to specific class timings by age, so picking a class timing that suits your schedule is easy. Arranging makeups when your child is sick is also very simple and non-restrictive, which I highly appreciate as a parent.
For anyone looking for art classes for their child, I would highly recommend Artgrain and Teacher Jiahui who teaches at the Jurong branch.
My kids have been attending Artgrain, and we've had a really positive experience. The teachers are patient, encouraging, and create a fun environment where the children genuinely enjoy learning art. It's been wonderful to see their creativity and confidence grow over time.
The lessons are engaging, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We're happy with our experience and would definitely recommend Artgrain to parents looking for quality art classes for their children.

My kid has been attending workshops at Achievers Arts during the school holidays. The teachers are friendly and caring, and the centre provides a relaxing environment for children who genuinely love art. Thank you again!
Signed my girl up for classes at Achievers Arts, and I’m really happy with the experience so far. The staff were very friendly, patient, and helpful. They explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable from the start.
What I really like about this art class is that they genuinely focus on teaching proper sketching, drawing foundations, and techniques, not just simple colouring activities. You can tell they are serious about helping children build real art skills step by step.
Most importantly, my girl truly enjoys attending the class, which makes me very happy as a parent. Looking forward to seeing her improve more here!
I have been sending my elder daughter to their holiday camps. And now my younger one is joining in the fun as well as I sign them up for regular lessons. I can see there are some areas that the teacher helped with their work (due to their age) but they let the kids do enough that they are able to feel the sense of achievement. Both of them liked the teachers and they feel proud of their work after each lesson.
My child recently attended a trial lesson at Achievers and absolutely enjoyed it! The teacher was patient, engaging, and made the lesson interesting and interactive. The class environment felt positive and encouraging, which helped my child feel comfortable right away.
My daughter absolutely loves her art classes! She looks forward to every session with so much excitement. The teachers are very polite, patient, and encouraging. Thank you INKfusion and teacher Rocky for guiding me to draw the hands and body anatomy because in the start I don’t know how to draw these so most of my drawings are only the head. With teacher Rocky help now I can draw body anatomy on my characters ❤️ I really love attending the classes. Zayden 10 year old
They have excellent service recovery and responsive on their communication channels. Send my girl to the trial class they offer when I was purchasing their manga book. Teacher Asher is friendly and my girl totally enjoy his lesson and said that she wants to join the night class on Friday as it was an interesting group together with other peers. Overall experience with them is pleasant and they take ownership of their studio/ Production seriously. 👍🏻👍🏻
Aldrich has been with Ink Fusion for two years and he enjoys and look forward to every lesson. From basic to in-depth Manga drawing techniques, I can see my son improve tremendously in this two years. Ink Fusion is unlike any commercial manga learning centre, they provide other learning opportunities that is out of the scope of drawing. I remember Mr Chia was showing Aldrich how to do a voice over animation even we didn’t sign up for it because he wanted the kids to gain more exposure. Thanks Ink Fusion !
My daughter greatly enjoys going to digital art classes, as well as traditional manga drawing classes. It's been more than a month since she started, and she improves a lot each time. Thank you INK Fusion.

The teachers are very nice and approachable. I am always able to learn something new every lesson. The teachers are more like friends and mentors that have supported me in my portfolio completion. This institution has greatly supported me in terms of helping find my passion in visual arts as well as also helped in providing materials and guidance when needed.
The art class is really good, and the teacher is very nice. I have been coming here for 10 years, and I have learned a lot. It is a very conducive environment, and it feels safe for students to show their skills and express their emotions. No one judges you based on your skill level—what matters most is that we enjoy the classes. They are extremely patient and shape children's interests in arts whether it is for further academic progress or personal interest. We had so much fun making our snow globes (CNY theme) conducted by Xinyi and Xavier. They are very patient and explain to us in clear instructions to complete the globe. Thanks both for the good guidance.
My son has been attending The Art People classes in AMK since he was 2.5 years old, and it’s now been two years. I enrolled him not with career aspirations in mind, but simply to spark his interest and explore hobbies while he’s still young.
He’s now in the KIS Foundation stage, and art has become his favorite enrichment class. He looks forward to every session, and I love receiving his artwork after each lesson.
Although my husband was initially skeptical—feeling art wouldn’t benefit him academically—I’m glad we gave it a chance. Seeing our son thrive creatively has been a joy.
My child has been attending art classes here for almost 2 years and he enjoys classes a lot. We like how the school has a very structured program to teach the various art techniques and their aim is not to help beautify the art pieces so that the art work can be displayed at home. I would rather have a child learn the proper techniques, than to bring home a beautiful artwork that is basically done by the teacher.
The teachers provide updates at the end of each class to explain what the children have learnt during the class. The classes are progressive so there are always fresh techniques to learn. Prices are reasonable as well, and we are happy to have found a good art school.
This place is awesome. No surprises why it's packed with students and parents. Fee system is so fair and the teachers are so accommodating and they infuse loads of creativity into my daughter. There is no way our kids are not gonna be inspired by these young and clever teachers. No must buy accessories, no advanced admin fees, no hidden charges. I love how transparent the administration is with us parents.
My older child has been attending this school for nearly since 2022. Came across this school at the start from their website and chose it because it's near home, fees are reasonable and small class size. There is also a trial lesson for teacher to assess child quickly and for child to be exposed to during this trial.
Now my younger child is also enrolled to this school for lesson. Appreciate the patience from Teacher Xin Yi all this while in teaching different drawing/colouring techniques to my children. Teacher Xin Yi will always update me what was done during lesson by sending photos end of the class. Also liked the flexibility that lessons to be completed within a certain period which allows my child to complete purchased number of lessons. My children also look forward to lessons.

My child enjoys her art classes here. I also appreciate their online art portal where the teacher posts feedback and/or photos of the student’s art process and art work at the end of each lesson. It keeps the parents updated on what the child learns at each lesson.
My child really enjoys learning art here and looks forward to each session. He often happily shares his experiences at home. The teachers are kind, friendly, and supportive, creating a safe and encouraging environment for kids to learn and enjoy art. The setting is creative, and a wide range of art materials is provided.
My child really enjoys the art classes here. The teachers are patient and supportive, and the class environment is very positive. I can see clear improvement in my child’s confidence and creativity. Highly recommended.
My child has been attending classes here for over a year and absolutely loves it. The teachers are energetic and encouraging, and each lesson comes with a different art theme that keeps things fun and inspiring.
Our 2 kids have been taking lessons here with teachers Julia and Unicorn for last 6 months or so. Both have improved their art work significantly. Our younger one started when he didn't even care enough to 'colour between the lines', and they both now feel very confident to try to draw anything 🙂 Secondly, they both look forward to the weekly lesson and take great pride in showing their outputs ! Thirdly, apart from the first couple of weeks, the kids have settled very well in the class because of the kindness and empathy of the teachers. Recommended for any kids looking to have a good time and improve their art thinking and execution !

How to Choose the Best Digital Art Class for Your Child
Instructor experience: Check whether teachers understand visual-art foundations and the digital software used during lessons.
Age suitability: Confirm that project difficulty, instructions and screen-based activities suit your child’s developmental stage and attention span.
Starting level: Ask whether complete beginners receive software familiarisation before moving into rendering, animation or more complex creative projects.
Teaching balance: Look for lessons that teach practical tools while allowing children to develop their own ideas and visual style.
Class attention: Check class ratios and how frequently each learner receives demonstrations, corrections and useful individual feedback.
Creative ownership: Consider whether children make meaningful artistic choices instead of reproducing the teacher’s example exactly.
Technical foundations: Ask whether lessons cover drawing, colour, composition, perspective, layers and other transferable visual concepts.
Software access: Confirm which application, tablet, stylus or computer is required and whether equipment is supplied during class.
Safety guidance: Review supervision arrangements, online-platform controls and age-appropriate expectations for device and internet use.
Progress feedback: Ask how teachers track development, communicate progress and decide when students should attempt harder projects.
Portfolio pathways: Consider structured portfolio guidance if your child has future DSA, SOTA or art-school application goals.
Project variety: Check whether the curriculum includes formats your child enjoys, such as characters, comics, painting, animation or 3D work.
Learning format: Compare studio, live online and tutorial-based formats according to your child’s independence and need for interaction.
Schedule access: Review travel time, lesson timings, holiday options and any policies for missed or replacement classes.
Fee clarity: Confirm tuition fees, trials, registration charges, deposits, materials, software subscriptions and required equipment before enrolment.
