Iky, actor for Legacy of Arthur was convincing, effective and crested an extra layer of tension, intrigue and excitement throughout the adventure.
Aan, actor for The Purge was beyond effective and to say that he heightened the thrills would be an understatement.
Definite definite recommends to experience both these rooms alongside the live actors!
Once we arrived, even though we were slightly late, the staff didn’t rush us. They started the timer only after giving clear instructions and ensuring we were fully ready. We received a walkie-talkie to ask for clues, and while it malfunctioned at first, it worked fine afterward.
The Annabelle escape room has three sections. The first was fairly easy for us, but the second felt overly complicated and tough to complete within the allotted time. One of the locks also opened with very little force, which unintentionally revealed a later clue and caused some confusion. This might partly be due to our limited experience with escape rooms, but I still feel that some aspects could be refined, especially the puzzle where even after being told the answer by staff, it wasn’t intuitive.
The design overall is clever and creative, though it sometimes felt like there wasn’t enough for everyone to do. Out of our group, some enjoyed the full seventy-five minutes while others were left with long stretches of inactivity.
The staff member who escorted us inside was excellent. He explained everything clearly and did not hurry us once our time was up. Instead, he spent a good ten to fifteen minutes walking us through the remaining clues and allowing us to explore them at our own pace. The experience wasn’t particularly scary aside from a single jump scare, but it was enjoyable overall.

One moment they were kids. The next, they were archaeologists trying to survive ancient Egypt, followed shortly after by four extremely confident pilots apparently qualified to operate an aircraft.
And somehow… I was completely okay with this.
We tried the Egypt + Pilot bundle, and this turned out to be one of those activities that sounds simple when you read about it online, but makes much more sense once you see the kids completely immersed in it.
What impressed me most wasn't simply whether they could solve the puzzles.
It was watching them think together.
There were moments of confusion, moments where one child noticed something the others didn't, moments where they had to communicate, listen, experiment and figure out what to do next. Instead of sitting in front of screens being entertained, they actually had to participate in creating their own fun.
And that's probably what I appreciated most as a parent.
The Egypt room brought out their inner explorers — searching, investigating and working through the mystery together.
Then came Pilot, which completely changed the atmosphere and gave them another adventure altogether. The variety between the two made the bundle worthwhile because it didn't feel like they were simply doing the same puzzles in a differently decorated room.
The staff also deserve credit. With four excited children, things can become chaotic very quickly 😂, but the experience was handled patiently and the kids were allowed to enjoy that sense of discovery without having everything immediately solved for them.
By the time we finished, the biggest problem wasn't whether they enjoyed themselves.
It was:
“Can we do another room?”
That is probably the easiest review a parent can give.
Kids In The Room isn't just somewhere you bring children to burn 90 minutes. Done properly, it becomes a little exercise in curiosity, teamwork, communication and confidence disguised as play.
Today we entered ancient Egypt, flew a plane and somehow made it back to Marina Square in one piece.
Mission accomplished.

During the planning, Zayne was super helpful and always replied quickly to my questions. It made the whole process so much smoother. On the day itself, Eunice, Lynette, Zayne and many other staff (whose names I didn't catch) went above and beyond to make sure everything ran well.
The escape room games were really fun and kept the kids entertained. The scavenger hunt where the kids searched for treasures to collect goodies at the end was a lovely touch. It's very well thought out. The birthday decorations were beautiful too and really set the mood.
Overall a really positive experience from start to finish. Big kudos to the whole team!

An Immersive and Memorable Escape Room Experience!
Tried the “Unknown Signal” room at The Escape Artist and it was an absolute blast from start to finish. The setup was incredibly elaborate, with smart use of technology that elevated the puzzles and made the whole experience feel seamless and immersive. Each puzzle connected thoughtfully, keeping the momentum going and the team fully engaged throughout.
The staff on site were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to help, clarify when needed, and ensure we had a great time without breaking immersion. Their passion really shows.
