Free Request For Tuition

Comparing the Top 10 IP Physics Tuition Centres in Singapore can be challenging, especially when every IP school follows its own pace, topic sequence and assessment demands. Some children need clearer explanations of forces, electricity or energy, while others understand the theory but struggle to apply it to unfamiliar, multi-step questions. The right IP Physics tuition arrangement should match your child’s school curriculum, current gaps and preferred learning style, rather than simply rushing ahead. This guide compares class sizes, teaching methods, tutor experience, school-aligned support, locations and fees across ten options. It may help parents weigh structured group classes, accelerated programmes, practical support and personalised tuition before committing valuable family time and budget.

Key Takeaways

  • IP Physics curricula differ between schools, so prioritise tuition that follows your child’s topic sequence, learning pace and assessment expectations closely.
  • Small classes, focused consultations and careful mistake correction may help children connect physical principles with unfamiliar calculations and application-heavy questions.
  • Compare lesson pace, tutor experience, location, fees and support beyond class, rather than choosing an IP Physics tuition centre from results claims alone.

MindFlex – Your Best Platform for IP Physics Home Tuition

Overview of Business

MindFlex Tuition Agency connects Singapore families with private tutors for personalised IP Physics tuition at home or online. Instead of following a fixed classroom curriculum, the agency matches each child with a tutor according to their school, IP year, topic sequence, learning gaps, schedule and budget. This flexibility may suit children whose Physics lessons progress faster than expected or differ considerably from programmes at conventional tuition centres. Tutors can focus on conceptual links, calculations, graph interpretation and unfamiliar applications while revisiting earlier gaps that affect current work. MindFlex has access to more than 50,000 active tutors, giving parents choices across different qualifications, experience levels and hourly rates. There is no agency fee for the matching service, so families can review recommended tutor profiles before choosing an arrangement.

Why Parents Choose MindFlex?

Parents may choose MindFlex when their child needs individual attention rather than another fast-moving group class. The matching process considers the student’s IP school, current Physics topics, timetable, budget and preferred tutor background, which may make each lesson more relevant. Home and online arrangements can also reduce travel after long school days or CCA commitments. Coordinators are available throughout the week, while the TUTOR EXPRESS™ service may provide suitable profiles quickly when timely support is needed before an assessment.

It has truly been a blessing to find Mr. Tan Tiam Teng as my son’s Chinese tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated—qualities that have made a huge difference in my son’s learning journey. My Primary 4 son has shown remarkable improvement in his Chinese since starting lessons, and we are so grateful for the progress.

Beyond the academic results, Mr. Tan’s teaching style has built my son’s confidence and interest in the subject. He is punctual, pleasant disposition and understands what a child needs. The entire experience with Mind Flex has also been very pleasant, professional, and supportive.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tutor who genuinely cares and delivers excellent results

Friendly, pleasant, swift, helpful and most importantly not pushy

MindFlex has also gathered practical details about the following IP Physics tuition centres, covering their programmes, teaching approaches, fees and locations. Available Google review widgets are included so parents can consider recent public feedback alongside curriculum fit. Reviews are still best weighed against your child’s particular IP school, year, current difficulties and preferred way of learning.

1. Eclat Institute

Overview of Business

Eclat Institute offers small-group IP Physics tuition, with classes capped at eight students, alongside IP Math, Chemistry, Biology and Science practical support. Its IP Physics programme covers IP Year 1-4 and follows each student’s school topic order and forthcoming assessments. Weekly 90-minute theory lessons take place at Vision Exchange in Jurong East, where tutors review school materials, answer questions and plan suitable next steps. Physics students may also receive practical training through relevant laboratory arrangements, making Eclat an option for families seeking both theory and experimental support. The team has experience teaching more than 100 IP students and supplies notes, quizzes, videos and learning resources between classes. This school-responsive format may suit children whose IP curriculum progresses in a different sequence from standard secondary courses.

Why Parents Choose Eclat Institute?

Parents may consider Eclat Institute when their child needs close checking of Physics working rather than broad, lecture-style delivery. The eight-student limit gives tutors more opportunity to spot weak reasoning, calculation errors and misconceptions before they become repeated habits. Lessons follow school materials and assessment schedules, which matters because IP schools may introduce Physics topics in different sequences. Practical training may also appeal to families who want scientific concepts connected with apparatus, measurements, graphing and evaluation, instead of being learnt only from notes.

We had enrolled our son in a different tuition centre before, but his Science performance did not show much progress. Finding Mr Pang was a real relief, especially because good Lower Secondary Science tuition options are not easy to come by.
One thing that immediately impressed us was his willingness to first meet briefly with us to better understand where our son was struggling and what support he needed. That personal effort made a strong impression, as it showed a level of care and attention we had not experienced elsewhere.
Since starting lessons with Mr Pang, our son has shown clear and consistent improvement in Science, and his confidence has grown noticeably as well. Mr Pang has a strong understanding of the IP curriculum and is clearly aware of the academic demands and packed schedules that many students have to manage. It is also very useful that he offers both individual and group lessons, depending on what each student needs.
We would gladly recommend Mr Pang to parents and students seeking dependable, effective guidance in both Maths and Science.

2. The Thinkers Cap Education

Overview of Business

The Thinkers Cap Education is a Bukit Timah tuition centre offering IP Physics specifically for IP Year 3-4 students. Founded in 2016, it follows a LEAP approach that develops foundations, engagement, application and links between ideas across different contexts. Regular classes are capped at eight students, giving tutors room to explain difficult principles and check whether each child can apply them independently. Founder Mr Tham Tuck Meng has more than fourteen years of tutoring experience and over eight years of MOE-school teaching experience. Physics lessons include step-by-step question analysis, discussion of common mistakes, application work and support after class through WhatsApp. Selected programmes may also include Zoom access, which can help families manage travel while retaining interactive guidance and opportunities to revisit lesson content.

Why Parents Choose The Thinkers Cap Education?

Parents often shortlist The Thinkers Cap Education for its small classes, experienced teaching and structured approach to problem solving. Physics can become frustrating when a child remembers formulas but cannot identify which principle applies to an unfamiliar situation. LEAP introduces application after clear foundation building, which may address that gap rather than encourage mechanical drilling. WhatsApp consultations provide another way to seek help when questions emerge during homework at home, while the Beauty World location may suit families living in western or central Singapore.

In JC1 and the start of JC2, I struggled with having the mental stamina to finish a 3-hour paper. I would often not finish. I also struggled with integration and complex numbers.
I often asked Mr Tham to re-explain concepts, and he was always patient to explain until I truly understood them. For topics that often had advanced questions/contexts (eg area/volume, sigma notation), he gave me various past yr questions to gain exposure. All these helped me improve from failing J1 promos and J2 mid yrs to scoring B at A-lvls. Thank you Mr Tham!
To any juniors reading this, one piece of advice would be to do timed practices as early as possible. If 3h is too hard, start w 2h, then do 2h30min, then 3h.

Before I joined the thinkers cap, I was failing both math and physics. In the span of 1 year, Mr tham has helped my understand many concepts that made answering questions easier. In the months leading up to the a lvls, Mr tham made us do papers every lesson. This exposed us to a wide range of questions we would not have encountered by studying content alone. Mr tham is always free to answer your questions which is great to clarify your doubts quickly. In the end, I managed to go from a E in both subjects to As and got my 70rp. Thanks Mr tham! 🙂

Sending my son to Mr Tham when he was IB1 helped reset his concepts and fundamentals for AA Math. Mr Tham approaches each student differently by first diagnosing their strengths vs weaknesses pertaining to the topics they have been exposed to. His ability to focus on first clearing all outstanding doubts of my son before pushing forward into other topics allow my son to learn at the right pace vs trying to run after every topic. With this first approach, I can see the self confidence level start to grow and the momentum continues to build up nicely to the final stage of the IB diploma final exams in 2025. What is important for me is not about the grade outcome as a priority but rather aligning my objective with Mr Tham in math I hope to see my son achieve is that of turning what he learns through the journey into a continuous life skill. I am very happy and proud of my son’s eventual grade outcome which clearly demonstrated time and time Mr Tham’s approach in nurturing every student. All different, each unique. Thank you Mr Tham once again for the guidance and patience towards my son through the 2 year journey.

3. Future Academy

Overview of Business

Future Academy provides IP Physics tuition for IP Year 3-4 in small classes with a maximum one-to-six teacher-to-student ratio. Founded in 2015, it is led by former top-school educators Ms Yvonne Chen and Mr Jason Lau, with Ms Chen bringing previous Raffles Girls’ School Mathematics and Physics teaching experience. Where possible, lessons follow school-specific pacing, an important feature when IP schools organise Physics topics and assessments differently. Teaching covers conceptual understanding, inquiry-based questions, experimental design, data analysis, practical write-ups and feedback. Classes are available on-site, online or through hybrid arrangements across three Singapore locations. This combination may appeal to children who need close guidance but still benefit from peer discussion, especially when unfamiliar questions require reasoning beyond direct formula substitution.

Why Parents Choose Future Academy?

Parents may consider Future Academy when class size and curriculum alignment are key concerns. With no more than six students per teacher, a quieter child may have more chances to ask about difficult concepts and receive immediate correction. Former school-teaching experience may also reassure families seeking familiarity with demanding classroom expectations, although suitability still depends on the child’s IP sequence. Hybrid flexibility can reduce disruption during busy CCA periods, while structured feedback may reveal whether weaker results come from content gaps, data interpretation or incomplete explanations.

It is amazing, the teachers are great there and I really enjoyed it. I really recommend it because it helped me with my math a lot and it is a very good place to learn. I think it was very good that I chose to go here because it was so worth it. I felt very safe and I could ask any question, and they would help explain how to get to the answers. I think that it was very amazing that they print sheets for you to work on based on what your doing and I think that was a thing I had never seen before. I think they have amazing teachers and the teachers would sit down with you and explain each question you did not understand. It really helped me improve in math and I think it got me more confident in myself and not wondering if I was right, and instead knowing I am right. It was really great and I think Ms. Chen is a great teacher.

4. Simply Education

Overview of Business

Simply Education has provided classroom-based tuition since 2003 and now operates branches in Tampines, Hougang and Tiong Bahru. Its Integrated Programme offering includes IP Physics, alongside IP Math, Chemistry and English, with lessons described as structured, personalised and student-centred. Physics support focuses on concept mastery, higher-order thinking, problem solving, focused revision and preparation for school assessments. Tutors identify each child’s strengths and weaknesses before using guided practice, feedback and regular assessment to address learning gaps. Its longer operating history may interest parents who prefer an established neighbourhood tuition arrangement rather than a fully online programme. However, as no fixed IP Physics year range is specified, families should confirm that the available class suits their child’s school, current topic sequence and expected assessment depth.

Why Parents Choose Simply Education?

Parents may consider Simply Education for its established classroom model and three accessible heartland locations. The teaching approach begins by identifying gaps, which may help children who work hard but keep losing marks because an earlier misconception is affecting later Physics topics. Guided practice and regular feedback provide structure for those who struggle to revise independently. Families may also appreciate progress updates and experienced tutors, although it is sensible to ask how each IP Physics class accommodates different school syllabuses, assessment timings and individual learning pace.

I would like to convey my sincerest thanks to the following tutors for their dedication in tutoring my sons these past years. These tutors are
1. Mr Foong
2. Ms Low
3. Ms Agnes

Mr Foong taught my eldest son, A, from 2011 to 2017. He taught him Science (pri sch) and Physics (sec sch). Mr Foong also taught my youngest son, H, from 2019 to 2025, both Sc and Physics too. My Foong is a very patient tutor who teaches with dedication. His love for the subject can be seen and felt in his lessons. Both my sons love Physics and it is evident from the results they attained in their O level exams. I have since recommended My Foong to other colleagues who are looking for a Physics tutor. Thank you, My Foong, for all that you do.

Ms Low also taught Chemistry to both my sons. Ms Low is also a very dedicated tutor who goes the extra mile to conduct extra lessons to students who need the extra push. Not only that, she communicates with the parents, updating them with regards to their child's progress. Her nagging and persistence has truly paid off. My younger son started lessons with her after attaining a failing grade at the end of Sec 3. And at the end of Sec 4, my son attained a distinction at O levels. Thank you, Ms Low, for all that you do.

Ms Agnes taught my younger son Math (pri sch) and E Math (sec sch). Her dedication in teaching the subject is commendable. She gives ample practice and it kept my son busy practising Math. He started to love the subject and it was evident in his results, attaining distinctions at almost every test and exam. Thank you, Ms Agnes, for all that you do.

Thank you, Simply Education!

Sincerely

the teachers here are kind, very committed and do their best to help us with any questions we have. with my chem tutor's -ms low's- help, i was able to go from a failing student to getting an A2 in O levels. despite joining the class last-minute, when O levels was just around the corner, she put in effort by texting me frequently to see if i understood the topics well and asnwered any questions i had for her. she made sure i understood earlier concepts by offering lesson videos which helped give me a deeper and clearer understanding as well as offered additional lessons to help catch up with the other students. she ensures that her students keep up well with the class by randomly calling on them to answer questions, and also texts us long messages to brief us on O levels and post-secondary education, so that we know what to expect. (she even held a Q&A session about tertiary education). she occasionally went through JC-level questions related to sec 4 topics so that we could have a deeper understanding about the sec 4 topic, and also know what to expect in JC chemistry.

Fast- paced lessons as well helps to keep u from ever feeling sleepy during tuition. Thnks Ms Low🤟🤟

5. Overmugged

Centre logo

Overview of Business

Overmugged offers an IP Physics programme specifically connected to RGS upper IP years, rather than presenting one general course for every school. Its broader IP provision includes lower-year Science, Chemistry, Biology and Math, while IP and pre-university classes contain between four and twelve students. The teaching sequence moves from understanding to in-class application, exam-question practice, answering techniques and later consultation. Children also receive syllabus-aligned notes and may contact tutors through WhatsApp when questions arise after lessons. Classes can take place in person or online through Zoom, giving families flexibility around school and CCA routines. This option may be particularly relevant to RGS families seeking school-specific upper-year Physics support, while parents from other IP schools should confirm curriculum compatibility before deciding whether the programme fits.

Why Parents Choose Overmugged?

Parents may choose Overmugged when their child benefits from a clear progression from explanation to application and assessment-style practice. A class of four to twelve students remains interactive while offering peer discussion that one-to-one tuition may not provide. Consultations and WhatsApp access may help when a child only notices a misconception during later homework. The school-specific RGS Physics positioning is useful for matching topic depth and sequence, although families from other IP schools should ask whether the materials and lesson pace can support their particular curriculum.

The class is very informative and it has helped me a lot in my studying! The curated notes are also very helpful
My tutor is able to use many creative and practical approaches to help me understand the different curriculum concepts
Mr Zhi Hao is one of the best teachers I’ve ever met. He’s willing to customise his classes to his students’ learning styles and is not afraid to go out of syllabus to sate his students’ curiosity. He takes the time to answer all questions and dives into the “why” instead of pushing for rote memorisation as most teachers do. Plus, his classes are genuinely fun and he fosters a nice and cozy learning environment where he genuinely connects with and cares for his students. Highly recommend his Chem classes!

As a parent, I’m deeply grateful for the help and guidance from Mr. Phua to my child who is doing IP3/4 Biology.
He was able to understand her personality and learning challenges even before the first tuition session began. Despite the limited class availability, the opportunity he provided became a valuable stepping stone toward better grades.

My child always looks forward to her lessons here — it feels like a happy cave for her.
To see her go from “Did I choose the wrong science subject?” to “Maybe one day I’ll become a biology teacher!” truly shows the positive impact Mr. Phua has had on his students.

Once again, thank you OM and Mr. Phua. I’m genuinely impressed and deeply appreciative.

6. Physics.com.sg

Centre logo

Overview of Business

Physics.com.sg is a subject-specialist option providing Physics tuition across IP Year 1-4, conventional secondary, Junior College, H3 and IB pathways. Its IP route is unusual because eligible children may attend accelerated classes ranging from upper secondary Physics to JC or H3 material, depending on the stated categories. Lessons are taught by Phang Yu Hon, a Physics tutor since 1997 and former research engineer who holds First Class Honours in Electrical Engineering from NUS. Group teaching combines clear explanations, structured problem solving, guided practice, worked examples and examination-focused questions. Zoom attendance is available, although one-to-one and trial lessons are not offered. The accelerated format may suit a highly capable child seeking substantial challenge, but parents should assess readiness carefully instead of assuming that moving further ahead will resolve current conceptual gaps.

Why Parents Choose Physics.com.sg?

Parents may shortlist Physics.com.sg for its long-standing subject specialisation and direct teaching by an experienced Physics tutor. Analogies, humour and real-life examples may make abstract relationships easier to understand, especially when a child finds textbook explanations too compressed. The accelerated route can offer greater depth for advanced learners who are genuinely secure in their current material. It may be less suitable for children needing slower remediation or individual pacing, as lessons are group-based and one-to-one tuition is unavailable. Matching the class level to readiness therefore matters more than choosing the most advanced option.

physics so fun wow
I was Mr Phang's student from 2007--2009, and I still remember him and his lessons fondly. I have since studied physics at Cambridge and Oxford, and I would argue that my time here remains one of the highlights of my physics education.

Subjects Offered

  • IP Science (IP Year 1-2)
  • IP Sciences: Physics (IP Year 3-4)

Teaching Methodology

  • Clear explanations and analogies translate abstract Physics relationships into situations children can visualise and reason through.
  • Structured problem solving shows how to select principles, arrange working and check whether answers remain physically sensible.
  • Guided practice builds independence gradually, rather than moving straight from tutor demonstrations to difficult unsupported questions.
  • Exam-focused questions expose children to demanding applications and reveal whether conceptual knowledge transfers across unfamiliar contexts.
  • Accelerated class pathways challenge advanced IP learners, although placement should reflect genuine readiness and secure foundations.

Location and Availability

Group classes are held at Bishan Street 11, with Zoom attendance also available. Published schedules provide multiple slots for selected Physics levels.

Price Range

Group fees range from $420 to $460 per four lessons for upper secondary Physics classes, depending on the selected class level.

7. Pivot Physics

Overview of Business

Pivot Physics is an MOE-registered specialist tuition centre offering IP Physics alongside O Level, Combined Science and A Level programmes. Founder and principal tutor Mr Baarath Ram has more than twenty years of teaching experience, an Electrical Engineering degree from NUS and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University. Lessons use small classes, structured materials, curated notes, exam-style questions, consultations and access to Physics practical sessions. The programme develops conceptual understanding, problem-solving ability and accurate exam application, rather than relying on formula recall alone. IP class slots are identified for IP Year 3 and IP Year 4 at Jurong East, although the broader programme description does not define every supported IP year. Parents seeking a specialist setting may value the focus on Physics and opportunities to connect theory with real apparatus.

Why Parents Choose Pivot Physics?

Parents may consider Pivot Physics when their teen needs subject-specialist instruction, practical exposure and consultation outside regular lessons. Small classes can make it easier for tutors to inspect solution methods, particularly when careless algebra hides an underlying misconception. Curated notes and exam-style questions may help organise revision for teens who feel overwhelmed by scattered school resources. Practical access is another useful distinction, as measurements and experimental limitations can make abstract principles more concrete. Families should confirm the appropriate IP class, schedule and curriculum fit before comparing reported outcomes with their teen’s starting point.

Even though I only joined Mr ram’s class at the beginning of j2 , I’m very grateful for my time there as his lessons made me look forward to practicing physics instead of just viewing it as a challenging subject! I found his notes for each chapter much more helpful compared to my jc notes as they simplified the key concept , making it easier to comprehend. Towards the end , the timed practices for the syllabus reinforced the important ideas which made me more aware of my learning gaps. Overall, thank you for improving my experience with physics and I highly recommend his lessons to struggling students 😄💯

mr ram is a very patient physics teacher who takes the time to explain concepts clearly and makes sure we actually understand them before moving on. he often uses simple and funny analogies that make it so much easier to visualise and remember abstract physics concepts. he also teaches us extra tricks and shortcuts that we don’t learn in school, which really help us tackle tricky exam questions with more confidence. the notes he provides are top quality and very detailed, with key exam strategies highlighted so we know exactly what to focus on, and the weekly practices he gives are very relevant in helping us gain exposure in different types of questions. he is also a really funny teacher who keeps lessons engaging, and at the same time he’s a very wise person who gives thoughtful advice about things outside of physics, like handling stress, relationships and life in general. he is truly a teacher who cares not just about his students doing well in exams but also about their overall well-being!! highly recommend everyone to join 💯💯

8. Orion Tuition Centre

Overview of Business

Orion Tuition Centre is an MOE-registered tuition centre offering IP Physics for IP Year 3-4 through weekly group classes and personalised coaching. Its teaching team includes several Math and Physics educators, with Mr Anthony Lee described as having helped hundreds of students over more than twenty years. Lessons establish fundamental skills before introducing relevant examination questions and structured revision, rather than assuming every teen arrives with the same foundations. Tests and assessments can be adapted for different school syllabuses, and students may form groups for more school-specific teaching. Physical classes run at Toa Payoh and Yishun, with live online attendance also available. Families seeking greater individualisation can consider one-to-one coaching, although its hourly cost and minimum monthly lesson commitment should be weighed carefully against group tuition.

Why Parents Choose Orion Tuition Centre?

Parents may choose Orion Tuition Centre when school-specific pacing and flexible learning modes matter. IP Physics lessons can be adjusted for different school syllabuses, which may reduce the mismatch caused by a single generic sequence. Regular assessments show whether a teen can retrieve and apply concepts independently, rather than merely follow examples during class. The choice between group tuition and one-to-one coaching also gives families room to match support intensity with need and budget. Live online attendance may help during demanding CCA weeks or whenever travelling becomes difficult.

Subjects Offered

  • IP Math (IP Year 1-4)
  • IP Sciences: Chemistry, Physics (IP Year 3-4)

Teaching Methodology

  • Lessons establish fundamental Physics skills before harder questions, supporting teens whose earlier foundations remain uneven.
  • Current assessment questions introduce relevant applications and discourage overreliance on repetitive, familiar question templates.
  • Regular tests reveal retention gaps, allowing tutors to adjust revision before misconceptions affect later connected topics.
  • School-specific group arrangements can align lesson content with different IP syllabuses, sequences and forthcoming assessment priorities.
  • One-to-one coaching adjusts pace and practice, helping teens who need intensive correction or quieter questioning space.

Location and Availability

Weekly lessons run at Toa Payoh Central and Yishun Chong Pang, with live online attendance available. One-to-one coaching uses either branch, subject to availability.

9. My Masterclass

Overview of Business

My Masterclass provides Math and Science tuition for IP, G3 and Junior College students, including regular IP Physics support. Its school-aligned model maps classes to the different topic sequences used by schools such as RGS, RI, NYGH, HCI, SNGS and CHS. IP students receive higher-difficulty question sets, while materials include notes, checkpoints, worked examples, topical questions, solutions, answering techniques and supplementary videos. The Bottom-Up methodology explains the origin and reasoning behind concepts before progressing to more difficult applications. Tutors are full-time graduates from Singapore universities and reportedly average six to eight years of full-time tutoring experience. This approach may appeal to parents whose child needs both curriculum matching and deeper reasoning, particularly when familiarity with formulas has not translated into confident independent problem solving.

Why Parents Choose My Masterclass?

Parents may consider My Masterclass if their child’s school sequence differs from standardised tuition schedules. School-aligned placement can keep lessons relevant to upcoming weighted assessments and end-of-year examinations, while higher-difficulty questions address the application demands common in IP learning. The Bottom-Up approach may help children who memorise solution patterns without understanding where relationships come from. Progress monitoring and parent updates offer useful visibility, especially when a child seems comfortable after class but still struggles independently. Video archives also support recap after busy school or CCA weeks.

I recently enrolled my son in My Masterclass's school holiday Secondary 3 E-Math revision classes, and I must say I'm impressed with the experience. What stood out was their thorough approach - they took the time to review his weak topics and tailored the lessons accordingly. The small class size definitely made a difference, allowing for personalized attention and a more effective learning environment.

The tutor's ability to break down complex concepts into clear, understandable bits was impressive. He was also adept at identifying common errors and areas where my son needed extra help. I appreciate how they consistently followed up and provided constructive feedback, offering useful recommendations to support my son's progress.

Most importantly, my son has found the lessons helpful and their approach effective. I'd recommend giving My Masterclass a try if you need a tuition centre that cares about their students' understanding and progress.

I stumbled upon this little gem along Upper Thomson Road, and it turned out to be a game-changer for my daughter’s Secondary Science journey. Don’t let its modest appearance fool you—inside, the spirit of learning is truly inspiring.

The teachers at My Masterclass are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. They provide constant, timely feedback to both students and parents, ensuring everyone stays on track. Signing up my daughter for the final stretch of her Secondary Science was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

The transformation in her results speaks volumes. In just five months, she went from a C6 in her mid-year exam to scoring a distinction in her O-Levels. This tremendous leap wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of the teachers, who instilled confidence in her and pinpointed her specific learning gaps with precision.

If you’re looking for a place to elevate your child’s Science results, look no further than My Masterclass. A special shoutout to Ms. May, whose unwavering support and guidance propelled my daughter to achieve her distinction. Thank you for making such a meaningful impact on her learning journey!

10. All A’s Tuition

Overview of Business

All A’s Tuition provides cross-disciplinary IP coaching in Mathematics, Science and Humanities, including inquiry skills and IP-specific assessment practice. The centre is led by Ms Sultana, an M.Sc Chemistry graduate, published enrichment-book author and educator with over three decades in Singapore education. Lessons focus on conceptual clarity before formulas or shortcuts, supported by diagnostic assessment, structured materials, guided practice and immediate correction. Small-group teaching and personalised plans may help IP Physics students work on individual gaps while still learning through classroom interaction. Five Singapore locations and live online classes give families several attendance choices. Because the IP Science offering is broad rather than a separately defined Physics programme, parents should confirm the tutor’s Physics background, supported IP years and compatibility with their child’s school curriculum before enrolling.

Why Parents Choose All A’s Tuition?

Parents may consider All A’s Tuition for its focus on understanding, diagnostics and personalised small-group support. Beginning with identified gaps may prevent a child from repeatedly practising questions built on insecure foundations. Guided work and immediate correction can also show whether mistakes come from Physics concepts, mathematical handling or question interpretation. Several physical locations and live online access give busy families useful flexibility. Since the regular IP offering covers Science broadly, parents seeking dedicated IP Physics tuition should ask how much lesson time, material depth and tutor experience relate directly to Physics.

Subjects Offered

  • IP English (IP Year 1-4)
  • IP Math (IP Year 1-4)
  • IP Science (IP Year 1-2)
  • IP Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Physics (IP Year 3-4)
  • IP Tamil (IP Year 1-4)

Teaching Methodology

  • Diagnostic assessment identifies conceptual gaps early, preventing children from practising advanced questions on unstable Physics foundations.
  • Concept clarity precedes formulas and shortcuts, encouraging children to understand physical relationships before choosing mathematical procedures.
  • Guided practice provides immediate correction, helping children recognise flawed assumptions before they become persistent solution habits.
  • Timed assessment work develops question selection and pacing without replacing the deeper reasoning expected in IP curricula.
  • Regular parent updates make progress visible, supporting calmer workload decisions instead of reactions based only on examination grades.

Location and Availability

Lessons are offered across Telok Blangah, Potong Pasir, Jurong West, Marine Parade and Yishun. Live interactive online classes are also available.

How to Choose the Best IP Physics Tuition for Your Child?

The best IP Physics tuition should match your child’s present gaps, school sequence and learning pace, rather than simply offering the hardest questions or fastest syllabus coverage. Before committing to weekly classes, consider how each option fits your child’s needs and your family’s routine.

  • Match the curriculum and year carefully, confirming that lessons follow your child’s IP school sequence, current Physics topics and expected assessment depth.
  • Identify the underlying learning difficulty first, separating conceptual confusion from weak calculations, careless interpretation, limited practical understanding or insufficient independent practice.
  • Compare teaching approaches beyond headline claims, looking for clear explanations, unfamiliar applications, mistake analysis and feedback that develops your child’s reasoning process.
  • Check tutor experience and class size, considering whether your child asks questions readily or needs closer prompting within a smaller learning group.
  • Balance location, reviews and total cost, including travelling time, lesson frequency, registration charges and whether online support genuinely suits your family’s routine.

A trial lesson, consultation or discussion about recent school scripts may reveal more than headline results alone. Ask how the tutor would address your child’s particular misconceptions and accommodate the school’s topic order. The right fit should provide sufficient challenge without creating another source of confusion. Over time, suitable support may help your child explain principles more clearly, organise calculations carefully and approach unfamiliar Physics problems with greater independence.
