Introduction

A jesmonite workshop for kids gives children a hands-on way to explore colour, casting, marbling and terrazzo effects while making something useful to bring home. Singapore parents can choose from dedicated Jesmonite studios, broader art centres and craft providers offering activities for families, private groups or larger events. Age requirements vary, so it is worth checking whether your child can join independently or needs an accompanying adult. It also helps to compare project options, workshop duration, materials, supervision and booking requirements. This guide covers 10 Jesmonite workshops in Singapore, with overviews, Google reviews, locations, prices and contact details.

My family of 4 first attended an art workshop, then we returned for a resin art workshop again. It was a great experience that every one of us loved, especially the children! Thanks to these activities, I discovered sides to them that I didn’t observed before, and got to know and bonded with my family better!

The classes were conducted in small groups where we were comfortably seated and were provided with a wide variety of art materials to work with.

Elaine was warm and friendly, and Nicole explained the activity with clarity and even did a demonstration for us before we started on our own artwork. She also walked around the class to provide support to each of us throughout the session.

I’d definitely recommend Artplay Haus and Resin Play! A place that caters to people of all ages, and there are various activities for you to choose from!

Art 🎨 is always a great healing n learning spot ..🧡✌️💞❤️‍🩹
Very pleasant n joyful moments over there ,I dint expect when I go during my lowest point turn out to be very comforting milestones at my art pieces ,n all 3 teachers I hv been learning n much guided with...n very big thanks n appreciation to staff Star ,who had been most encouraging since Day 1 n Genevieve on weekends...both really give value added service , from planning learning duration, supporting with availability on timings to that very emotional support...Keep going n I would certainly be most happy to share this outlet for else learning place 💜💗💕♥️💕
7 and 3 year old children trying art jamming for the first time. Staff was very helpful and friendly from the get-go of WhatsApp booking to actual painting activity done in-store. Peaceful place to try art painting on a bear, canvas or tote bag. 2hr session.

Tip: Don't go for a complicated artwork so u have more time to paint and touch up. Downside was that we had to draw our own pics and that took up an hr. There's no guidance so be mindful to prep your artwork before you reach there.

Feedback to staff about having template drawings in future so kids can manage easier.

Otherwise, generally a good activity to harness patience and colours mixing skills for your children.

A Jesmonite marble coaster art workshop was held at our company as part of our corporate team-building initiative. Iturned out to be a wonderful experience.

The workshop was well organised, engaging and suitable for participants of all artistic abilities. Every step was clearly explained with videos, making the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.

It was an eye-opener to learn about Jesmonite as a material and to see how different colour combinations and pouring techniques could create unique marble patterns. No two coasters were alike, which made the experience even more meaningful as everyone got to bring home their own personalised creation.

More importantly, the workshop provided an excellent opportunity for colleagues to interact, collaborate and unwind outside of our usual work environment. It was both creative and therapeutic, and a refreshing change from conventional team-building activities.

Thank you for delivering such a memorable and eye-opening experience. I would highly recommend this workshop to organisations looking for a unique, hands-on activity that encourages creativity, teamwork, plenty of laughter, with sometime to wind down!

We engaged Concrete Everything to run a workshop on making marbled coasters as part of our staff retreat, and they did not disappoint.
The facilitation was clear and upbeat with a dose of humour, and we created two beautiful marbled coasters per pax within the two and a half hours allocated for the session.
The activity was fun and allowed us to engage in mindfulness and be present in the moment.
Thumbs up!

Many kudos to the friendly, awesome instructor (Marcus) and assistants! 🔥 The staff were so patient, helping to check consistency of the mixture, even advise on colours and whether the jesmonite coasters were properly "cooked" 🤣 before demolding. Super satisfied with the finished product! Highly recommend anyone who's looking for some beginner friendly, handmade gifts to give this a shot! 💝

I have never been a fan of coaster-making, up until yesterday.

Less than two months ago, when my colleague (Sush) decided that we would contact Concrete Everything to host a Jesmonite Marble Coaster Workshop at our company as part of a Christmas lunch event, I was rather skeptical at first.

I had my doubts that it would pay off. But the workshop trainers left me with a lasting impression. They were not only patient and very clear with the instructions that were given to us, but they also encouraged us to be creative with the colour dyes that were provided. Even experimented with the three primary colours (red, yellow, blue) to create a rather eye-opening coaster. But the first coaster I made was using both turquoise and a purple.

I'd also like to mention another colleague of mine, named Ainie, who told me that we should have more workshops that promote "creative time", away from the hustle and bustle of our daily work. I cannot help but think that we can have another similar workshop like this during our company's next career day showcase, or once every two or three months to destress and to challenge one's limitations in fine art. Thank you all!

I recently attended the Chokmah workshop with my daughter, who has a keen interest in handmade arts. I’m so glad we chose this place for our creative outing!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a gentle and friendly staff, including the lovely lady boss, who made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a fun bonding experience.

My daughter had the opportunity to make a pill-shaped plate, and I was impressed by how patient and helpful the staff were. They explained each step in a simple and clear manner, making it easy for my 9-year-old to understand and follow along.

One of the highlights was the variety of color chips available for her to choose from, allowing her to create a unique design that truly reflected her personality. The whole session lasted about an hour, and it was filled with laughter and creativity.

If you’re looking for a short and enjoyable experience with your child, I highly recommend the Chokmah workshop. It’s a fantastic way to spend quality time together while exploring the world of arts and crafts!

It was a fun and meaningful afternoon activity with my partner. We enjoyed the workshop very much thanks to the facilitator Asraf. He was very professional throughout and gave clear instructions on how to do the item. We even chatted with him a little bit because there was nobody else in the workshop.

Asraf is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience in this field. He was beaming with passion while describing the work that he’s doing and it was such a joy to be in a such a positive space.

There were many beautiful pieces there so its really up to your creativity to create your very own masterpiece!!
We brought home the plates and using it at home really reminded us of this wonderful experience at Chokmah!

This is my first experience with Resin art and it's so therapeutic to see how the colors mix and blend on its own. Was amazed with how the completed glasses and coaster turned out! Thank you Ms Swati for guiding me and sharing useful tips with me as I work on the art pieces!

How to Choose the Best Jesmonite Class for Your Child

  • Age suitability: Check the minimum age and whether younger children require an accompanying adult.
  • Instructor experience: Review the facilitator’s Jesmonite experience and experience teaching the relevant age group.
  • Safety guidance: Ask how instructors supervise measuring, mixing, casting and sanding for younger participants.
  • Material choice: Confirm which Jesmonite system, pigments, sealers and finishing materials children will handle.
  • Teaching approach: Consider whether your child prefers demonstrations, guided experimentation or freedom with colours and patterns.
  • Class size: Smaller groups can provide more individual help during mixing, pouring and finishing.
  • Beginner support: Check whether the session introduces material properties, ratios and techniques from the beginning.
  • Project format: Choose a coaster, tray, planter, clock or decorative object matching your child’s interests.
  • Creative freedom: Ask whether children can choose pigments, terrazzo chips, marbling effects, moulds or decorative details.
  • Workshop duration: Match the activity length with your child’s stamina, including demonstrations, curing, sanding and cleaning.
  • Studio environment: Consider ventilation, working space, protective equipment and space for accompanying adults.
  • Take-home timing: Confirm whether creations are collected immediately or need curing, sealing, delivery or collection later.
  • Booking conditions: Check minimum participant requirements, appointment rules, rescheduling charges and private-group conditions.
  • Fee coverage: Review whether the rate includes materials, tools, extra pieces, finishing, delivery and parent participation.
  • Child preferences: Select a structured or exploratory session matching your child’s confidence, patience and comfort.

It has truly been a blessing to find Mr. Tan Tiam Teng as my son’s Chinese tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated—qualities that have made a huge difference in my son’s learning journey. My Primary 4 son has shown remarkable improvement in his Chinese since starting lessons, and we are so grateful for the progress.

Beyond the academic results, Mr. Tan’s teaching style has built my son’s confidence and interest in the subject. He is punctual, pleasant disposition and understands what a child needs. The entire experience with Mind Flex has also been very pleasant, professional, and supportive.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tutor who genuinely cares and delivers excellent results

Friendly, pleasant, swift, helpful and most importantly not pushy
