Overall, Singapore Zoo is one of the best zoos we’ve visited. The animals appear well cared for, the park is beautifully maintained, and it’s an unforgettable experience for both adults and children.
One trade-off with this approach is that the animals are not always easy to spot. Some were resting away from view, hiding from the heat, or blending into their surroundings. While this can be slightly disappointing when you are hoping to catch a glimpse of a favourite animal, it also makes the experience feel more natural and less staged.
Although the zoo is large, it did not feel crowded even on a public holiday, as both the animals and visitors are fairly well distributed throughout the park.
The zoo is still very big, and I ended up walking quite a large number of steps even with tram rides. I would strongly recommend making use of the tram, especially when visiting with family or older relatives, as the walking can add up quickly and become tiring in the heat and humidity.
Personally, I found the visit enjoyable but also quite tiring due to the size. If comfort and a more relaxed pace are priorities, I found River Wonders easier to complete and more sheltered, though the zoo offers a wider variety of animals and a more expansive experience.
The Zoo Adventure Tour Group was a perfect way for my elderly parents to enjoy the whole zoo from the buggy. Our guide Ida was fantastic in giving us insightful information about each animal and giving us ample time at each viewing to enjoy. This tour includes: exclusive elephant feeding, goat grooming, personalised tour. Ida made sure that my parents had rest stops and brought them through ac environments to cool off. Thank you so much for your sincere care Ida.
If you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, I highly recommend checking out Forage at the resort near by. Reservations are recommended.
It’s also wonderfully family-friendly. We noticed thoughtful touches everywhere: stroller-friendly paths, clean restrooms, and plenty of spots for kids to take breaks. The staff were warm and helpful, which added to the welcoming vibe.
The animals looked healthy and active, and the enclosures were designed to give you great views without feeling cramped. Watching the giraffes up close and seeing the playful antics of the orangutans were absolute highlights.

As avid travelers who have visited countless sanctuaries and wildlife reserves across the globe, we can confidently say that Bird Paradise in Singapore is simply the most beautiful bird park in the world. It is a truly breathtaking experience from start to finish!
What makes this park so spectacular is its incredibly thoughtful layout, which is cleverly organized by continents. Instead of traditional enclosures, you walk through massive, immersive aviaries that perfectly replicate the natural habitats of the regions they represent. The scale is unbelievable, and you feel completely transported as you move from one continent to the next.
The variety of wildlife is astounding. We were particularly captivated by the magnificent, vibrant parrots, but every single aviary is teeming with incredibly healthy, active birds flying freely right around you. The design allows you to observe them up close in a way that feels completely natural and highly respectful to the animals.
The lush landscaping, the giant walk-through environments, and the incredible avian encounters make this a five-star experience in every sense. We have traveled far and wide, but Bird Paradise has set an entirely new global standard. An absolute must-visit
This place is HUGE, beautifully designed, and honestly feels less like a bird park and more like entering different countries through bird-themed worlds. Every section has its own vibe, climate, and species categories — from colorful parrots screaming louder than tourists to elegant flamingos casually posing like influencers. 😂
What really stood out was how immersive the walking trails are. You’re not just looking at birds from far away… sometimes THEY are looking at YOU. Some birds fly so close you start questioning who actually paid for the ticket. 🫣
The entire Mandai setup is extremely clean, organized, and perfect for couples or families who enjoy slow exploration and photography. We spent hours just wandering through the trails and still felt like we missed things.
BUT… small warning nobody prepared us for:
⚡ The wooden walking trails can randomly give static electric shocks.
Nothing dangerous, but after getting zapped a few times, we started touching railings like we were diffusing bombs in an action movie. 😂

Definitely one of the most unique wildlife experiences in Singap
Some highlights for me were the Penguin Cove, where you can get up close to the adorable penguins, and the Flamingo enclosure — their colors are breathtaking. I also loved exploring the Hong Kong Wetland area, which felt like stepping into a mini ecosystem full of diverse birds.
There’s a great variety of other birds throughout the park, each with informative displays that make learning fun for both kids and adults. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole park is clean and well-maintained.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Singapore — it’s a peaceful, educational, and fun experience for everyone!

An absolutely incredible experience!
The Singapore Night Safari is a must-visit and easily deserves 5 stars! Seeing the animals active at night is a completely unique adventure, and we were especially amazed by the rare and fascinating creatures, like the Tasmanian Devils. It is so special to observe them up close in such a beautifully designed, natural nocturnal habitat.
One of the absolute highlights of our visit was the 40-minute guided tram ride. It is perfectly organized and takes you seamlessly through different geographical zones. It gives you a fantastic overview of the park while you spot animals right next to the tram in the dark. It is both thrilling and very comfortable!
Additionally, the dining options far exceeded our expectations. There are great restaurants right at the park offering a wide variety of delicious food. What surprised us the most was the value—you can get a really fantastic meal for a very reasonable price, which is quite rare for major tourist attractions.
Overall, it was a perfectly magical evening with excellent facilities, beautiful animals, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting!
Visited Night Safari with my wife last June and honestly, it felt like stepping into a real-life jungle movie set. The entire experience is SUPER well designed — dim lights, jungle sounds, animals casually appearing out of nowhere, and that famous tram ride making you feel like you’re on a secret wildlife expedition. 🚋🌴
The walking trails were the real surprise for us. Unlike typical zoos, you actually get to explore at your own pace and spot animals in beautifully recreated habitats. One moment you’re watching majestic leopards, the next moment you’re wondering if something is staring back at you from the dark trees. 😅
The tram ride is a MUST. Smooth, immersive, and perfect after all the walking. Pro tip: sit on the edge seats for the best views and animal spotting.

I went there in the evening (for the 8:15 entrance) and that didn't require me to wait for so long.
Animals are awesome and make sure to hop on the cart ride. It's about 35-40 mins long and it gives you a little bit of breather (still hot and humid, of course) since you don't have to walk around all over!
A few considerations before you plan for this attraction:
- Make sure to purchase the admission tickets in advance.
- Make sure to plan your route on how you are getting there and getting out (I took Grab on the way there and took a bus back to a nearest subway station and then subway back to my hotel).
- Night Safari is bigger than I imagined and depending on the timing, there may not be enough drink / water stations. So bring some water with you.
- If you also watching an animal show, it's about 25 mins. I would recommend sitting near the exit so that you can walk fast to the cart tour line sooner. (This does make a difference in your overall wait time and experience.)

Visited with my wife last June, and the absolute highlight was seeing giant pandas for the very first time ever. They looked like giant fluffy marshmallows just munching bamboo, taking cozy naps, and rolling around so adorably that we couldn’t stop smiling. 🐾
The whole park feels bright, fun, and super relaxing, almost like exploring a storybook rainforest. The river-themed zones, aquarium exhibits, and boat ride make every corner feel exciting and full of surprises. There are so many amazing animals to spot, and everything is clean, colorful, and easy to enjoy.

Compared to the zoo, a significant portion of the park is air-conditioned and sheltered, making the experience noticeably more comfortable, especially in Singapore’s heat and humidity. Areas such as the giant panda enclosure and the aquarium sections housing the manatees offer a welcome break from the outdoors.
Some of the highlights include the giant pandas, capybaras, giant river otters and manatees, and my personal favourite - the red panda.
I found River Wonders more relaxing and easier to complete compared to the zoo while still offering enough variety to keep the visit interesting. It is also a good option for families with elderly visitors or for those who prefer a more comfortable pace.

The absolute highlight of our trip was seeing the 15 magnificent manatees gliding gracefully through the massive freshwater aquarium. It is truly a mesmerizing sight to watch these gentle giants! Of course, we cannot forget the stars of the show — the two adorable giant pandas. Watching them munch on bamboo in their lush, climate-controlled enclosure was an unforgettable experience.
Another thrilling part of our visit was the Amazon River Quest boat ride. Floating along the water while spotting amazing wildlife like jaguars and capybaras made us feel like we were on a real jungle expedition. There is just so much more to discover at every turn!
Overall, this park is beautifully maintained, extremely engaging, and truly super beautiful. I highly recommend it for nature lovers and anyone looking for a unique adventure. Five out of five bright shining stars! Truly amazing!
Honestly, this place is quite underrated, there are many cool animals to see. I was also lucky enough to see both Kai Kai and Jia Jia 🙏
I would recommend spending the extra $5 for the amazon river quest as well, as you get to see more animals like flamingoes, capybaras and even a jaguar.
Overall, quite a decent attraction to visit. It is also mostly sheltered so the sun isnt shining down on you during your whole visit 🙏
Another standout part of the visit was the giant freshwater fishes. Seeing such large and rare species in well-designed enclosures was both fascinating and educational. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, giving you a chance to learn about different river ecosystems from around the world.
The entire place is clean, well-maintained, and easy to explore at a comfortable pace. The layout is well planned, and the atmosphere is calm and enjoyable, making it suitable for families and kids as well.
It’s a different kind of wildlife experience compared to a traditional zoo, which makes it even more interesting. You not only get to see animals but also understand their natural habitats better.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and definitely worth visiting. Seeing the panda and the giant fishes made it extra special and something we will always remember.

It’s a weekday on a school holiday today and the ticket cost me close to 40 dollars for 2 hours of non-stop fun.
Service staff was very friendly and it’s a nice place for the kids to play if it’s not too crowded.
Our girl is 3 and loves every single bit of the fun. Her favourite? The “sand” play area made of beads. In Marina Square, it’s fun for her cos there’s 2 area of it, the square beads and the round beads. Her friend, def the cooking area.
It was also lovely that they have a mini stage for a meet and greet activity. Where their mascot- tiger will come out to do some sports before the photo taking!
However, with the number of children in the area, the table-chair seats can be limited. And… do also be mindful that this is a children’s area, so if you bring your children, you will need to be mentally prepared that there might be some viruses “flying” around.
Queue into the area can be very crowded, if you need to get tickets, you probably want to get it in advance before entering because when the queue gets to long, the staff will split the queue into 2. 1 for buying tickets + corporate pass, 1 for Klook buyers. At least that’s what we experienced this morning of the PH queue.
Kiztopia has a variety of play areas for kids of all ages, and different interests, full ball pits, slides, pretend play, costumes, shows, interactive areas, etc, so there's something for everyone. There are also areas for tired parents to rest, though perhaps not enough.
Book through klook, single admission is able $30-50 for 1-3 hours.
Went on a weekday, not much crowd and the kids had fun.
Lost a much beloved soft toy while the kids ploughed through the various sand and ball pits. Managed to recover it by a quick WhatsApp check with the staff. Retrieved by the next day with no hassle. Thanks for the staff at Kiztopia!

The signboards were clear and easy to follow, making it simple to locate the car park. We visited on a Sunday and found that there were plenty of parking spaces available. Although the office was located some distance away from the car park, the directional signs were very helpful.
Upon arriving at the office, we were warmly greeted by cheerful and friendly staff. We purchased the Stable Tour, Pony Feeding, Pony Ride, and Horseshoe Painting activities.
The Stable Tour was very well organised and informative. The stables were exceptionally clean, and the tour guide was passionate and engaging during the presentation. We had the opportunity to interact with the horses, take photos, and even pat them, which made the experience very memorable.
The Pony Feeding session was enjoyable, and the Pony Ride was conducted with a strong emphasis on safety. The staff were attentive and professional. One staff member led the pony while another stayed close to ensure my daughter was secure throughout the ride. Their dedication and careful supervision gave me great confidence in the safety of the activity.
Finally, we participated in the Horseshoe Painting activity. I was particularly impressed by how patient, helpful, and encouraging the staff were, especially when assisting the children.
Overall, my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly, the activities were well organised, and the entire experience was both fun and educational. I would highly recommend Gallop Stable Singapore to families looking for a meaningful and enjoyable day out. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff MK was so friendly and helpful. The guide Ms Neshma was so kind and educated us more on the horse diet and moods. My 2 year old really enjoyed her time patting the horse and feeding the pony! Definitely recommended.

Just a note for first-time visitors — most activities require prior booking, so it’s good to check ahead. Also, the horses go back to their stables for rest/lunch between 12–2pm, and visitors aren’t allowed to disturb them during that time, which I really appreciate as it shows the care for the animals. The horses are also in their homes when the weather is too hot/raining so always good to call in to check on activities.
I brought my 3-year-old and he had tons of fun interacting with the ponies and horses with safe guidance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and happy to share more about the horses when we spoke to them. The ponies and horses were also so gentle and patient with my little one!
We also did some arts and crafts, and the staff were very accommodating — even though there were many options, my son wanted to paint rocks he found, and they happily let him.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable and refreshing experience. A great place to unwind, slowdown, connect with nature, and spend time around the horses. Will definitely be back again!

The reserve is exceptionally well-maintained, with clear signage, wide boardwalks, and excellent visitor facilities at the Wetland Centre. The elevated wooden walkways make it easy to explore the mangrove forests while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding wetlands
One of the highlights of my visit was observing mudskippers hopping across the mudflats among the mangrove roots. It was fascinating to see these unique creatures thriving in their natural habitat. The reserve offers plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife, so keep an eye out for monitor lizards, crabs, and migratory birds
I was also impressed by the Mudskipper Pod, a beautifully designed wooden observation structure that blends seamlessly into the environment. It provides a cool and shaded resting point with panoramic views over the mangroves and the Johor Strait. We have such profound respect for the vets and staff and volunteers who follow their passion to save and return wildlife back to their natural habitats even when it means that they have to do an overseas shipment of animals back to their homeland 🙂 a blessing just to watch them at work today and they will have our support in their advocacy on wild life protection. With limited time and resources they have a strict protocol which helps to prioritise their rescues so please don’t give them one star ⭐ just because they have to make a decision to decline a call for rescue if the animal seems able to fend for itself.
